Yes first house I will have ever owned.

They already accepted my offer.. 132,550.

Only thing that can really stop the deal is if I don't get financing, which shoudln't be a problem.

It was built by vocational students, it's brand new construction.

It's an awesome looking place.

I'm going to run Cat 6 to all the room with the MDF in the laundry room, lol.

Will be > *

hahah well I don't actually live there yet.

I don't close until Jul 22nd.

But as aforementioned, only thing that can stop it is fKitten Yiffer to obtain financing

So it's one of those big double sized trailers?

My dads parents live in one of those, and they're really nice. Looks like a nice place.

All to yourself?

EEEEEEEERK!

Glad to see you're still here. Congrats on the house! Unpacking does suck...Rando and I have been in our place for three years and we're still discovering stuff we forgot existed. We aren't exactly super neat and organized people.

I'll knock it out this weekend because I have to, I have a girl that's goign to sleep in my living room for a few weeks while she finds a place of her own, lol.

So hopefully sometime Sunday I'll be able to take some pictures with everything pimped out to share with you guys

I ran 6 Cat 6 to each bedroom and Coax and Phone everywhere

I have a wall rack with a rack mount UPS and some other goodies too

Can I come over? *looks in the windows* j/k

Not too shabby! Though owning a home can be a huge liability, it still beats a drab-ass apartment. Nice place!

well it's brand new construction so anything breaks for the 1st year I can actually MAKE them fix it.

Also there is a 10yr structural warranty

both required and enforced by VA State law

I <3 America

but yeah I have spent lots of money on things like appliances, this and that....

I owe Lowes 1300 but I have 11 months to pay it interest free... stupidasses

That's a great deal than. If you dont like something, break it and make them get something new but then again everythings brand new already I think my uncle has a type of house like that. I like yours better so far haha.

I've got a new job in Sheffield, so I've got to find a place of my own within two weeks. I've only mentioned this to the staff so far, because I seriously haven't had enough time to get online much (most of my free time has been spent unwinding on GT4. Saving up for that Tommy Kaira ). Two weeks is waaaayyy too short a time to find somewhere to stay. My budget is also tight, too. It being a placement job means I only barely get enough to cover rent, too. I might have to take up another job and work a six, maybe even a seven day week unless Chad can get a transfer up there with me. At the moment, I'm still trying to decide whether it's worth arranging a more expensive flat that we can both share, but working two jobs until she can get a job. I've got enough as it stands to pay for rent, but tax, bills, rent in advance, bond and whether they'd be willing to let out to a first timer like me remain unknown quantities

So yeah, I'm a Student Software Engineer, get to get my own flat with my girlfriend and one of my friends is also working with me too, but I might be leaving the board indefinately until I can arrange ADSL or Cable.
