| This will be my third battle against Schwa, and I hope it will be a good one. "Well, I haven't seen Schwa for quite a while. I'd sure enjoy sparring with him and showing him my new techniques." APH striker is waiting in a custom-designed arena after sending a challenge to his brother Schwa. The arena is a large square room, about 80 square yards long, with cement flooring and squishy mesh walls and ceiling. Underneath the flooring is a layer of titanium flooring in case the cement is destroyed. APH waits patiently for Schwa. |

| OOC: Glad to have you back, APH. I will be adding a twist to this particular SB, so be prepared. Good luck. Moments later, a streak of blue-and-gold ether is seen in the sky, heading above APH's arena. It appears to be a figure riding a crystal disc... The figure leaps off the disc and plummets. The figure lands 25 feet away from APH, facing him... It's Schwa, but he's got an ally with him-- a Chao! The Chao is all black and with a spikeball over it's head, symbolizing a Dark Chao, but it's presence, face and personality appear to be Hero Chao... It also wears the wings of a Pheonix. This Chao rides upon Schwa's shoulder. Schwa turns to APH. "Dude, it's been forever! You like, disappeared one night and even my Psi powers never got a hold of you. And now you wanna challenge me again? Well, you and I both have grown and matured quite a bit since we last fought, so... I accept your spar. Let me warm up for a moment, though..." Schwa begins stretching out and flaring with multicolored kinds of ether as he warms up. Meanwhile, in the shadows of the arena, a dark figure laughs evilly to himself, knowing Schwa will have more in store for him than he wants today. |

| "Oh, I wasn't gone that long," APH explains as he polishes and fiddles with his swords. "I went on a pleasant vacation. It was simply top-notch! They had devices that blocked out all sorts of communication, even telepathy, so a person could have complete privacy." He takes out some chemical vials and begins to drink them. "Well, I can't wait to see what you've learned while I was away. This'll be a most excellent fight, I'm sure." It's then that he notices the Chao. "Hey, what've you brought a Chao for? | Schwa smiles. "Ah, Solaris? I met him on a trip to another dimmension. You remember Janus, Detective Grey and Dracoon and all them, right? They accompanied me. We each raised a Chao, and I just happened to bring mine with me. I occasionally summon him into battle, and he does fight alongside me... But today he's most likely going to watch." The Chao does a flip on Schwa's shoulder. "Cha! Hello!" "He has a small vocabulary, but his first language is Chao and he speaks that very well. So! Wanna get this fight started?" Schwa's hands flare up with blue ether as he takes an offensive stance. "Show me what you've learned! Take the first move, too. You deserve it." It is at this moment that the figure in the shadows begins to charge up energy in his hands. If one concentrates or can sense energy, one would realize that the figure is hiding in the bushes behind the mesh fence, about 12 feet away from Schwa. One would also realize, using careful perceptive skills, that the figure is actually preparing to attack Schwa. "Hmhmhm... You're mine, Psi Warrior," he whispers very quietly to himself, evilly... |

| The instant the Power Sword is drawn, Schwa tenses. He knows the raw force behind that blade, and that even his ether can't help him a whole lot as far as defending THAT thing goes. But he's ready to block... His arms go to his right to block APH's left swing... but it's a feint, which catches Schwa off guard. He stumbles as APH goes for the pile-drive attack, but at the last second... ...Schwa turns sideways and half-leaps, half-trips backward to dodge. He nearly falls, but turns it into a backflip and is able to land on his feet at a crouch, 9 feet away from his previous position. "Wow! Good stuff! Now it's MY turn to attack." Schwa begins charging ether quickly for a powerful blast in a few seconds, but that's when a blast comes from somewhere else... It's a real big energy sphere with a cream-colored edge and a neon-green center, and looking at it hurts the eyes (like watching a TV in pure darkness). Schwa barely turns to look at the sphere before it nails him and he flies backward, slams against the mesh fence, and falls to the ground. Immediately the shadowy figure smashes right through the fence from his hiding spot, and goes for Schwa. Before Schwa can react, the figure's fist shoots off the arm propelled by a mini-afterburner, and slams into Schwa. Schwa cries out in pain as the fist returns to the arm of the figure. Then the figure puases, and turns around, sensing someone behind him. This is APH's chance to see how he looks-- This figure is clad in SUPER futuristic armor, sort of a cross between Alien and Predator but jet-black from top to bottom. There are holes on the back of the armor, unclear what for, and there is an emblem on the front of his belt with a neon "Y" on the front, engraved over the shape of a planet. The figure leers at APH. "Who are you? Lie, and I'll kill you." Schwa groans. "APH, beware... This is Kaz, last of the Yamathians... He is impossible for a Psi Warrior to beat... *cough*" Kaz turns to Schwa. "I will finish the job after I take care of this fool. Who is he?" "Go to Hell!" Kaz turns around fully and begins to charge energy into his hands again, for a full-power blast into APH's brother. APH does have time to stop him, though. OOC: Told you there would be a twist! Kaz is the one you're fighting in this fight. Thought it would be interesting for you to fight one of my other characters. Have at 'im! |

| "You bastard! You can't just beat on him like that!" APH draws a vial and throws it at Schwa. The vial will create a temporary energy sheild around him. APH then runs towards Kaz and goes for a slice at one of his fists. | |||

| Kaz quickly turns around as Schwa's shield goes into play. "You fool..." Then, as APH goes at him with the sword, Kaz brings up a high spin-kick to block the sword. However, the Power Sword is strong, and Kaz is pushed back a little. "You shouldn't meddle, fool. Schwa and I are enemies, and this is a war you would be wise not to interfere in." Schwa gets up and begins backflipping away from Kaz. "I am not your enemy, Kaz!" Kaz leers at the acrobatic Psi Warrior. "Hmm... Schwa, who is this fighter who defends you? Tell me now!" "He's APH Striker, and he's my flesh-and-blood brother, Kaz! Fight him, I dare you! (Sensae, be with him please.)" Kaz growls. "Rrgh! I've had enough! We fight to the death, APH." Kaz focuses for a moment, and his body adjusts for Battle Mode. Here is how Battle Mode works. Pay attention, APH! As Kaz fights his foe, he has an energy source known as the Master Meter. This Meter starts at 80 units, and every turn it automatically drops by 7. Each time Kaz gets a hit on the foe with a melee or energy attack, the meter rises 12 units, 4 if the attack was from a summoned object or creature, and cut in half if blocked. If the Meter reaches 100 units, Kaz hits FULL POWER and morphs into HyperKaz, a form where all stats and attacks are better for 5 turns. Then HyperKaz morphs back into Kaz with the Meter set to 50 units. But if the Meter were to hit zero, all of Kaz's stats will drop until he can fill it up again through attacking. "For Yamathia, I will defeat the brother of Schwa," Kaz states. "First move in on you, fool." Master Meter = 80. |

| APH easily drops to the ground to avoid the high spin-kick. "A fight. Huh. Okay, I accept." APH begins charging energy into his hands, so that they now appear to be glowing. "Hah!" APH suddenly launches an energy projectile at Kaz. It seems to be energy, but it congeals into a solid object when it approaches Kaz. The projectile is about the size of a cannonball. | |||

| Kaz's fist goes up to block the cannonball-sized projectile. He seemed to know it would change, almost, but he didn't count on the projectile being so heavy. It actually damages Kaz to block the move, but he doesn't even barely flinch. Instead, he immediately counterattacks by holding his other fist out, which shoots off the arm as before, heading at APH for the gut at around 60 MPH. The fist would return to Kaz's arm whether it hit or not. After attacking, Kaz leaps up into the air, revealing what the holes on the back of his armor are good for-- Afterburners. This dude's got a built-in jetpack! He flies about 14 feet above the ground, close to the ceiling, looking down at APH through his black visor. Master Meter = 73 + 12 for a hit. |

| "Whoa!" APH tries to dodge the fist, but he is not quite fast enough his arm is hit by it. "Ow!" However, he is ready for a quick counter. He throws his Power Sword at Kaz while he is hovering in midair as soon as he can. The sword slices through the air at an amazing speed. | |||

| 12 points added to the Master Meter. Kaz eyes the fast-approaching sword... He flies backward and to the right, but is slashed anyway. "Now you are unarmed. Hmhm..." At lightning speed, Kaz performs a deadly combo. (Kaz specializes in combos.) Flying at around 60 MPH, Kaz flies at APH, fist outsretched, trying to slam his target to the ground. Then he swoops up and fires a blast of that alien energy at APH, a smaller blast than used against Schwa since he never charged this time, and finally he lands nearby and rockets toward APH even faster than the 1st attack, performing a low kick at an insane speed. Since this is a combo, if one attack misses, the ones following will never be executed. Master Meter = 78 + 12 for each successful hit. |

| "I am not unprepared." APH knew that Kaz would go for a melee attack when he lost his sword, so he had thought of a strategy. He pulls out twin daggers and dodges when Kaz rushes toward him the first time. When Kaz is behind him, he throws both daggers at him before he can recover. He starts running to where his sword is. | |||

| Since Kaz couldn't hit APH the first hit, none of his other combo moves were executed. This gives him time to defend himself from the daggers. He swoops under them and flies at the Power Sword on the ground, snatches it before APH can get to it, lands facing APH from 25 feet away and throws the sword behind him with such force that it slices through the mesh-net and is out of the battle... unless APH leaves the arena through the hole in the fence and searches for it, but who knows where the heck it landed! Fortunately, Schwa's Chao, Solaris, is still in the arena, watching from a hidden place. Upon seeing Kaz throw the Power Sword away, he secretly leaves the arena to search for it. Kaz never sees Solaris. "Pretty slick of you to dodge a 60 miles-per-hour attack... Gonna need some help." Kaz takes out two strange objects... One is a tiny, silver, UFO-shaped object that immediately hovers next to Kaz, beeping and humming, and the other object is a purple glob off goo-like energy surrounded in a steel sphere wireframe, that hovers slow circles around Kaz. "Now, let's try this again." Kaz tries another combo. He rockets toward APH, again at 60 MPH, for a rocket tackle that'll knock APH straight up, then he flies straight up to knock APH out of the sky back to the ground, and finally he launches his rocket-propelled fist downward to the grounded APH. Once again, this is a combo, so if one attack fails to hit, the foolowing attacks are never executed. This time, the two objects are en route to activate if APH tries dodging. | "Hehe, sucker." APH pulls out another sword. This time it is the Detonation Sword. When Kaz approaches him in his rocket tackle, APH swings at him. If the sword connects, an explosion will occur that will damage Kaz a lot and APH a little. | |||

| The fire attack increased the Master Meter by 15 units. "Hmhmhm... So he has two swords now, does he?" Kaz begins his combo. He's struck perfectly in the head with his sword. KA-BLAMMO!! An explosion rocks his world, and he flies backward! The Probe is damaged and the energy glob is destroyed. But when the smoke clears... Kaz stands in place, almost unharmed! "Very good, APH! I seem to have underestimated you... but that makes two of us. This bionic armor feeds on certain element types to grow stronger, including fire. And one of the top rules in battle you don't seem to follow is... Do NOT, under any circumstances, make your foes stronger. Or else!" Kaz laughs evilly as he charges energy in his hands, preparing a powerful attack on APH. Meanwhile, the damaged Probe flies closer to APH and fires a few electricity-based spheres at him. They'll do low damage if they hit. Master Meter = 79 + 4 for each Probe hit. |

| "Hmm...better not take any risks with elements, then." APH says, as he puts away his Detonation Sword. "Fine. I'll just have to use melee and basic energy attacks. Gosh, I don't have as many options as I did before. Now that my Power Sword is gone, I'll have to resort to using spells. Temporal Leak!" Now, APH launches a fast-moving sky-blue blob at Kaz. If it hits, Kaz will be reduced to micro-speed and become very slow. | |||

| OOC: Then for God's sake, acknowledge them! Even if it doesn't do much, always acknlwledge my actions and I'll be sure to acknowledge yours. Besides, assuming is a bad move in Sim-Battling. 4 x 3 units added to the Master Meter. Kaz sees the blob of goo, and it's too late for him to move. He just manages to fire his attack-- a large sphere of alien energy that flies at APH, doing heavy energy-damage if it hits-- before the goo strikes him. He flies upward with his afterburners, and immediately notices that his flight speed is considerably hindered. "Interesting. It must be emitting a negative aura of radiation, slowing my movements. Probe, fix it." The damaged Probe flies back to Kaz as a tiny hatch opens up in the bottom, and a weird torch pops out of the hatch. Probe burns the torch at the goo as Kaz hovers in the air about 6 feet, and the green fire the torch emits is slowly taking care of the Temporal Leak. Kaz charges up energy again to attack the next turn, but since he's slowed, he charges up slower and his attack next turn will be weaker. Solaris is out of the arena, looking around for the Power Sword. It's getting warmer all the time, but the Sword landed in a thick bush with thorns, so even if he finds it, getting it out will be difficult. Master Meter = 84 + 12 for a hit. |
