| ...Right, well, I guess Zerodius is gone for a while or something. But this RP must get moving! I'm done stalling for now. --- Cyberaptor continued his pursuit against Phantron, but soon found that she was at the exact opposite side of the Nightmare Weed, and it wasn't about to let him get by. The only way to stop Phantron would be to kill the monster. Cyberaptor: All right, fiend, you've provoked me enough! Die, now! All three of Snipe's shots hit the Nightmare Weed, but it didn't seem to notice the bullets. Still intent on hitting Cyberaptor, it swung its scythe quickly, but once more narrowly missed him. Cyberaptor activated his jet pack, and flew to the Weed's height. Cyberaptor: I see you have a natural weakness to fire! A device below Cyberaptor's right wrist extended downward. It was oval shaped, with one red end and one cyan end. Once it rotated so the red end was facing forward, Cyberaptor used the device to shoot a blast of fire into the Weed's head! The ten pirates all attacked in unison with their firearms, glad that the Weed's attention was pulled from them... at least, they believed it was. One of its thick, thorny roots lifted from the ground, and smashed two of them! The two survived, but only just. --- Cyberaptor: 80 / 80 Pirate 1: 10 / 35 Pirate 2: 5 / 35 Pirate 3: 25 / 35 Pirate 4: 30 / 35 Pirate 5: 10 / 35 Pirate 6: 35 / 35 Pirate 7: 20 / 35 Pirate 8: 20 / 35 Pirate 9: 30 / 35 Pirate 10: 35 / 35 Nightmare Weed: 915 / 1500 (edited by Invader Pie on 09-03-05 07:26 PM) |

| ooc: I guess so... Grimacing, Snipes watched cyberaptor's move, and his gaze trailed the stream of fire into the plant. "Interesting... Perhaps..." Concentrating, Snipes charged his pistol with fire energy he learned form the soul resonance, and fired three more shots, but this time charged with fire. --Snipes' Stats-- HP: 86/100 MP: 20/20 Sniper ammo: 21/30 Pistol ammo: 12/12 -Items- 1x Sniper ammo reload 3x Pistol ammo reload 2x Grenade |

| With Cyberaptor's jet of fire, and the three fiery bullets that Snipes shot into its face, the Nightmare Weed squirmed in pain, randomly waving its claws and roots. One scythe hit Cyberaptor out of the air, fortunately with the flat side, but it still damaged him a bit. Cyberaptor landed just next to Snipes. Cyberaptor: We're going to need more than fire to get rid of this thing, Snipes! Let me scan it for more info. It's a complex creature, though, so may take some time. Cyberaptor's antenna unfolded and emitted a green beam, aimed at the Nightmare Weed. Yet, it hadn't been on it for more than three seconds, that the Weed's bud started glowing a strange green color... a few moments later, a neon beam of energy shot a hole through it, from the inside out! From out of the hole jumped Jackson, holding his Radio Ring out in front of him. From the trail of neon energy it generated, it seemed that the ring was responsible for the energy beam! Jackson joined his men, unaware of Cyberaptor and Snipes behind him. Pirate 4: Cap'n, you're all righ'! We thoughts you was dead, when you was eatin'! Jackson: Keep fighting, men! The second key is inside the Weed's bud, but it's too hard to get while it is still alive - there's a few more layers of armor. Kill it now! The pirates all fired at the Nightmare Weed, and Jackson used the ring to fire a neon beam at the Weed's stalk. Meanwhile, the Weed got busy. With one scythe, it extended its reach to hit Snipes - with its other, it smashed and killed Pirate 7. One root grazed Pirate 1, bringing him even closer to death. Also, the Weed shot out its three tongues; one wrapped around Pirate 3, one around Jackson, and one around Cyberaptor! In two turns, they would reach the Weed's mouth, where they would be horribly devoured! Cyberaptor: Whoa! Snipes, don't worry about me; I can get myself out of this. Try to exploit the plant's weakness! --- Cyberaptor: 70 / 80 Pirate 1: 5 / 35 Pirate 2: 5 / 35 Pirate 3: 25 / 35 Pirate 4: 30 / 35 Pirate 5: 10 / 35 Pirate 6: 35 / 35 Pirate 8: 20 / 35 Pirate 9: 30 / 35 Pirate 10: 35 / 35 Jackson: 70 / 80 Nightmare Weed: 806 / 1500 (edited by Invader Pie on 09-06-05 09:21 PM) (edited by Invader Pie on 09-06-05 09:24 PM) |

| rolling to the side, Snipes was grazed by the plant. Turning to face Cyberaptor, snipes responded. "No, I don't leave people behind." | OFF: Well... I'm finally back! Sorry for being missing for so long... ____________________________________________________________________ Phantron suddenly realised something... She looked around, baffled to see that time had seemingly moved foward quickly... very quickly... Phantron: "NO! This is... HMPH!" Phantron kicked the ground in frustration, knowing what had caused this distortion! That stupid alternate personality! She will have to take care of it sooner or later... but for now... her main target! Phantron aimed at Jackson... it would be easy to fire a volley of missiles and kill him now... but her mind noticed something else... Snipes tied to a vine and about to be devoured... Her personalities struggled... and in the end, she chose Snipes. She will have the occasion to kill the pirates later but if Snipes dies now... then that's it. Phantron's thrusters were activated as she joined the melee, dashing right toward the plant! She passed by at an insane speed, kicking the vine with her sharp right foot... and then, as she passed over the Nightmare Weed, she let go a few incendiary grenades... Finally, Phantron did a backflip and landed on the other side of the Nightmare Weed, not too far from it's claws so that she may be close enough to attack once again. Her radar activated to see if her attacks had been successful or not... Phantron's stats: HP: 250/250 Shield: 100/100 MP: 999/999 Auto-Canon ammo: 99550/99550 Power Shot ammo: 3000/3000 Grenades: 114/125 Rockets: 55/55 Missiles: 15/15 |

| ooc: Shit, remind me never to have snipes get into a battle with phantron, zerodius. I wasn't actually caught by the vine, though. It must have just looked like that to phantron. Rolling away from the vine, Snipes avoided Phantron's foot. Getting up, and then diving to get out of the way of her grenades, Snipes landed in front of phantron, and got up quickly, before smiling at phantron. "Thanks, I appreciated that." Then, taking aim with his pistol, Snipes fired off a few more rounds at the nives near Cyberaptor, still uable to see if the vine holding him had let go or not. ooc: Cheesepie, when you get back, that's your cue. |
