| OOC: Hello, fellow role-players and onlookers... Every once in a while, in the RP universe, great ideas come. But the best ideas come from when two excellent writers join forces... such as this current happening. Zerodius and I have, through Sim-Battling and some creative writing, opened the gateway to an excellent, brand new RP... one that may last a long time. Ladies and gentlemen, Zerodius and I give you: Friendly Anomaly, the story of a long lasting friendship and a great deal of adventure. This story takes place immediately after the SB "Courage and Honor". Check the other forum for details. It is a treat to the Psi Warrior universe... The RP is mainly about Allaura the Psi Warrior and Friend, the half-Oracle Ex creature, who have become companions, and their various adventures. However, from the sounds of it, this RP will have quite a few sub-plots going at once, because anything your characters do can add to the adventure. Schwa will make a few appearances, as will the Crystal Psipalace, but they aren't the center of attention here... Keep the following in mind: Friend has only a small amount of time to live, because she is half-Oracle and half-darkness and the opposite forces are hurting her. She has been given a chance to live, and that is to go to the Oracle Haven where the Oracle-half of her would be the dominant force. She has decided to go under one condition: First she must conquer her alter-ego, a twisted, war-loving version of herself. That's why she has become Allaura's travelling companion, so she can learn what it takes to overcome Evil, and that's how she has been introduced to the Psi Warrior world. As Allaura and Friend travel together, take part in this RP with your own ideas of adventure in mind! I (and I believe Zerodius as well, correct me if I'm wrong) favor sub-plots, at least this time (as long as you don't overdo it). The plots can merge and seperate at any time if the circumstances are right... keep that in mind, too. And with that said, here we go! (If Zerodius has anything to add, please do Zero. I hope I didn't leave anything out...) It is getting late in the afternoon, when two streaks of ether, one bright red and one dark silver, are seen streaking above the grey clouds. The red streak leads the way to a destination, miles in the sky... Before them, glowing blue and sparkling like the most beaurtiful thing in the world, floats a marvelous palace made of purified, azure crystal. It's a huge building, with several runways near the base and several balconies up above, columns of pearl-colored and azure crystal and marble, and a large cone of the purest, almost transparent crystal at the very top-- the pinnacle of the palace, where a great ball of rainbow light, the Dimmensional Core which keeps the palace floating and holy, floats over the whole palace, illuminating it with rainbow colors and blue rays of shining light. The building is Crystal Psipalace, the headquarters of the embodyments of Good, the Psi Warriors. Even some of the Psi Warriors can't get over the beauty of this building at night. Allaura is one of them. Allaura is actually the red streak of ether flying towards one of the runways near the bottom of Crystal Psipalace. Behind her, the dark-silver streak closely follows... That one is Friend; an Ex-creature, half-Oracle. Friend and Allaura are companions, and that order has come to be only a few minutes ago. In the events that took place before they joined forces, Allaura had met Friend, formerly known just as Ex (but not Ex Lightheart) on a turtle-shaped island that had been imported from somewhere. They then headed to a marshland to help Schwa, also a Psi Warrior, fight a demon called Virtuos, who escaped before Schwa could defeat it. Schwa advised Allaura to spar with Ex, thinking it was Ex Lightheart and not, in reality, a brand-new prototype of Ex with half-Oracle genes. They sparred, and eventually Ex's alter-ego, a cruel version of herself, took over. After the fighting subsided, Ex had nearly died, and Kyr'Shei, the Oracle Lord, offered her the chance to come to Oracle Haven, where her Oracle-half would become the dominent force and prevent her from dying. But Ex decided to stay in the Material Plane and vow to conquer her alter-ego before coming to the Oracle Haven. Ex asked to join forces with Allaura and for Allaura to think of a new name for Ex. Allaura decided Friend, as Ex was a pure child that fit the name. Allaura lands in the runway and sends a telepathic message to Friend on her way down. "You're going to need to land. Line your disc up with the sapphire lights and come down smoothly. I have something to do first, so I'll see you in a moment." Allaura walks down the arcane halls of Crystal Psipalace, which shimmer like the moon on a clear night, and eventually reaches the Grand Hall, where Sensae, Psi Warrior master, stands waiting for her. "Do you have some news to tell me, child?" "Of course! It's hard to explain, though... I presume you were watching the sparring match in the marshlands?" "Ever since Schwa left I have kept an eye on what went on. So you have joined forces with an Oralce child?" "Half-Oracle. The other half of her is, uh... I don't know another name for it besides Ex." "That's fine. She's half-Oracle, half-Ex being. Quite an interesting combination, really..." "But fatal." "I know that, child. That's why the amount of honor and courage you show by helping her overcome a great Evil, one that only she can overcome, is immeasurable. Bless you, child. You should go back to meet her." "I will, Sensae. Thank you!" And she runs back to see if Ex had landed safely. |

| Friend: "Is that... the Crystal Psipalace? It's so... beautiful..." Friend was in awe in front of the Psipalace. She was so busy being amazed watching the magnificient castle that she stopped paying attention to what she was doing... and as such, ended up crashing on the runway. CRASH! Friend was expelled from the disc! Friend: "AAAAAAARG!!!" BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM! Friend unwillingly rolled down the runway... BAAAM!!! Friend: "ACK!!!" ...to finally end up crashing into the door! Ouch! Must have hurt... and obviously, it did! Friend began to cry. Friend: "Waaaaaah! I crashed the beautiful ship my friend gave me!" CRACK! The front door fell to pieces!... which was to be espected, afting being hit by Friend! Friend: "OH NO! Wha... what am I gonna do?!? I... I broke the disc AND the door! Allaura will be FURIOUS!" Suddenly, three pairs of eyes appeared on Friend's right arm! Luigi: "Relax. It was an accident. They'll just scold you a bit or, in the worst case, give you a minor punishment." Friend: "I... I hate being punished!... and I broke the gift my friend gave me as well as breaking up part of her house!" Luigi: "Don't be so sad! I'm sure they'll replace the door. For now... you should report what happened. Your landing was quite painful... but not that much damaging. No repairs needed... but your back should hurt a bit for a short time..." Friend stood up... CRACK! Friend: "AAAAACK!!! Luigi! You liar! You said this would hurt a BIT, not a lot! OOOooow..." Luigi: "Come on, crybaby! Don't make your friend wait!" Friend: "Oh? My friend is waiting... hmm... ACK! That's true! Heeheehee... so stupid of myself... well, I'm feeling much better now! Let's go!" The three pairs of eyes disappeared on Friend's arm and her arm seemed to come off... but in truth, what seemed to be her arm was only Luigi, her Dark Weapon, morphed into a glove that's so well-made that one wouldn't notice she was wearing Luigi on her right arm! Luigi, just like Friend, was special. Since Friend had never killed anyone, Luigi had been fed entirely on the blood she was coughing and vomitting during the times when her inner energies caused damage to her body. Becease of this, Luigi wasn't a very dark Dark Weapon. In fact, it's blood diet had caused it to turn bright pink and it's eyes, unstead of blood-red, were yellow like the light of the sun. Luigi wasn't as nearly strong as the legendary Dark Weapon as Ex Lightheart once wielded... but Luigi was doing his best. Just like Friend, Luigi's days were numbered... for while Luigi was totally indestructible, it was still linked to it's wielder and should death overcome his wielder, Luigi will crumble into pieces. This gave Luigi another reason to care for his wielder's well-being... and anyway, while Luigi liked to tease his young wielder by calling it a crybaby, an immature child, or other things like that, it was, in truth, just as good-hearted as his wielder and just couldn't imagine itself ripping trought the flesh of a conscious being and consuming it. ... As Friend entered the palace, she was in terrible shape and it was obvious that her smile was fake; it was obvious that she was in pain. In her left hand, she held a piece of the broken door and in her right hand was Luigi, who was trying to get it's wielder's attention and point out that the tip of the blade was touching the floor, damagining the floor as she walked foward. After a while, she made it to hall where Allaura was... Friend: "Errr... Hee... well... I'm... I'm sorry... I crashed and then, I was sent flying foward and... well... I... well... I just... I think the door is in pieces now... err... I'm really sorry..." |

| "Friend, it's okay... Go ahead and look at the door you broke, and tell me if you find anything different about it. Trust me." Allaura waits for Friend's reaction to see that the crystal door had completely regenerated by now. The disc too, for that matter, but in the Etheral Dimmension, waiting to be called out. |

| Friend came back to the entrance... and was amazed to find the door intact! Friend: "WOW! The people here must repair stuff REALLY fast!" Friend ran back to the hall where Allaura was! Friend: "ALLAURA! ALLAURA! The door is back to... to..." Suddenly Friend felt an incredible pain in her chest. It felt as if something was ripping trought her entire body... Friend: "N... n... no... not... a... AAAAAAAAARG!!!" Friend fell down, grasping her chest and unable to stop herself from crying. Large amounts of blood were flowing out of her mouth, covering the floor and herself as she was shaking, unable to control her entire body. After a short while, Friend slowly coughing and her body stopped shaking. She stood up, covered in red liquid. Her face was pale and she was looking very weak... Friend: "Err... I... I'm... I'm sorry... I... well... made the floor all dirty..." Friend struggled to stay awake. It would take a short while to recover... but she didn't wanted to go to sleep now. Her friend had invited her to her house and she was not going to let her down. |

| Allaura's hands light up with ether. "It's okay... Let he help. "Etheral Restoration." Allaura casts red ether over Friend's body, restoring all health over 10 seconds. She knows Friend will eventually cough again and it'll hurt her then, but Allaura knows Friend is trying real hard to not mess things up in the Psipalace, and wanted to help out a little. "I read your mind a moment ago, and thought if you wanted to stay awake you could use some healing energy. Feel better?" Pause. "Yes, the door healed itself. In a way, this Psipalace is alive... It's not really, but it acts as if it does. The Dimmensional Core, the light illuminating the building from the top, contains thousands of spirits, all the Psi Warriors that have ever died. And because of those spirits, which are contained in the Etheral Dimmension which flows through the structure of this building, the Palace does act as if it is a living creature. So it'll heal itself, and the blood on the floor shouldn't be too much of a problem... We can walk away and it'll be gone in a while. And watch..." Allaura waves her hand, and a disc appears on the floor nearby... It's the same one that Friend crashed. "You never broke your disc, either... When you crashed, the disc shattered into thousands of tiny sand-sized particles, and all the pieces warped themselves into the Etheral Dimmension. I just called them back out again, that's all." She waves her hand again, and the disc disintegrates and disappears. "So... Want me to show you around?" |

| Friend stares at Allaura for a while... and then finally remember the question. Friend: "Yes... I would really appreciate it if you could show me around your house! It's really big! It seems not nearly as big as a Planetship but it's still huge! I wonder if I'll be able to remember the layout..." |

| Allaura walks down the hall, slow enough for Friend to easily follow. "Okay, Friend... Here are some of the key points in this Palace. First off..." She comes to a crystal door. "...Everything in here can be controlled by will." Allaura holds up an ether-coated hand, and the door disintegrates. "That was Psi I was using. Psi is the power of the mind and soul working as one. Everyone has the power of their mind at their disposal, and their soul too... but not as one being. That is a Psi Warrior treat. But you can still use your mind and will to open the door as long as you're in this Palace, just not as easily. Try it." The door regenerates before Friend's very eyes, and Allaura steps aside, letting Friend give a go at psychically opening the door. |

| Friend approachs the door... Friend *thinks* Luigi! I... I was not designed to use psychic powers! I... I don't think I can do this! Luigi: "Really? Psychic energy? No need to panic. Just concentrate and let me do the rest..." Friend closed her eyes and concentrated. Soon, Luigi drained her of all conscious toughts, allowing her to fully concentrate on what she was doing and nothing else. Then, Friend opened her eyes and pointed the door. Luigi tried it's best and transformed the raw mental power Friend had put into him into a blast of raw psychic energy. Since both of them were not designed to unleash psychic powers, the blast was rather chaotic and raw and most of the energy wouldn't reach the door... but the two had still tried their best. |

| The blast slams the door, but doesn't phaze it. "Nice try, but you have the wrong idea. That was an attack. Regular Psi isn't channeled as an attack... You can work on it, though." Allaura disintegrates the door and continues on to the next room-- the Southwest Secondary Hall. It appears to be a HUGE room with brilliant blue columns of crystal stretching up to the ceiling. Along the edges are many stairs, ramps, and balconies that give the edges almost the appearance of a labrynth, though the various Psi Warriors seem to know their ways around perfectly. The center of the room is open and blank, with no obsticles except a few columns. Intense energy can be felt coming from the northeast of this room, where there's a giant, beautiful, celestial-looking gate. "This is called the Southwest Secondary Hall. There are four Secondary Halls in this Palace, and this is one of them. This hallway leads to tons of other corridors and the like. But through that gate is the Grand Hall, where the strongest Psi Warrior stands day and night, open to the cries of our injured or confused Psi Warriors. He has power stronger than most Gods." Allaura waits for Friend's reply. |

| Friend: "Stronger than most Immortals? That guy... or girl... must be really strong!" Friend's eyes seemed to glow for a second... and smiled. The way she smiled... it was not her usual, innocent smile... Friend: "Tell me more about this warrior..." Friend was showing no sign of curiosity... it was obvious she wanted the power for herself and didn't cared about the Psi Warrior himself at all. | "Well," Allaura begins slowly, trying to conceal a smile, "He's powerful, wise, and above all... he knows Evil when it's present. Like me. "Snap out of it!" From the ground surrounding Friend, rainbow ether shoots up around her. It's Holy/Psychic energy in a cleansing format to help Friend shake off her bad side. "The way you spoke, Friend... I could tell that alter-ego of yours was coming out. And the Psipalace knows when Evil is present, explaining that cleansing burst a moment ago. Now, you wanna meet Sensae or what?" Allaura once again seems sweet. |

| Friend's war-loving alter-ego was upset. She was not evil, she was serious about her work! She had no time to waste with worthless inferior beings. She had to grow stronger and wipe out all Evils, as Fate had dictated! All other things mattered little or not at all. Friend: "I'm not Evil! Unlike that lazy immature "other", I did not forget my mission, at least!" With that said, her alter-ego returned to sleep. Friend looked around confused for a while and then, she remembered what had happened. She muttered to herself: Friend: "...errr... right... the mission... not that I would care. The Mother Ex completed it already..." Then, Friend cheered up and stared at her friend. Friend: "Meet Sensae? Sounds like fun! I bet he must have seen all kinds of strange and wonderful places! I wanna meet him!" |

| Allaura makes a mental note. "Interesting... Well, she can either be Good or Evil, no in-between, and from the sounds of it her alter ego leans more toward the latter. Anyway..." She heads toward the gate. "Okay, here we go..." Allaura places her hands on the massive gate, and it slowly, from the bottom up, begins to dissolve. As it dissolves, an even more magnificent room begins to reveal itself. The Grand Hall is a gigantic, spherecal room with rainbow-colored ether flowing through the walls, and a crystal throne in the center... Standing next to the throne is a tall, VERY old man in white, loose clothes... He has long, grey hair and a long beard, a face of pure love and kindness but many wrinkles... Eye contact with this man by itself can feel like a life-changing experience, even to Psi Warriors. Allaura turns around to see if Friend is following her. "That's Sensae. Here, you can come up and talk to him. He already knows all about you, though." She smiles. |

| Friend stares at the old man and is instantly convainced that Allaura is right... but still, she finds it weird that such an extraordinary being may have such an old body... Friend: "You are that Sensae guy? You look so wise... but your body seems... well... I must have arrived before your aging treatment!... but it doesn't really matter. With a soul as beautiful as yours, any body you may have will seem beautiful!" Friend knew that asking people like Sensae to show their power would seem rude... but her curiosity was rising... and after a whole second of resisting, she decided to go on! She begun to jump around, throwing question after question! Friend: "Did you went on many adventures before? What kind of people did you made? Did you made any friends? What kind of place did you visited? Where are your friends now? Did you ran into trouble? *thinking* Did you have fun? *saying with her alter-ego's voice* How did you obtained your incredible power?" Friend didn't heard her last question. She was convainced she had asked Sensae if he had any fun during his adventures... knowing little that her alter-ego had slipped in for a second, asking Sensae how he had obtained his power. |

| Sensae laughs. "Sure, I'll tell you anything." He answers every question Friend asked him, in order. "I've been on thousands of adventures. I can't create people, I am not a God, I am merely stronger than one. All who are Good are my friends. I have been to the ends of existance and back, plus more. My friends are alive no matter what, as a pure soul never really dies. I have run into trouble many, MANY times, but always fixed it, sometimes even against my will. And yes, I have had fun, to answer your last question." Allaura looks confused. Did Friend ask that? No, she asked... Wait, Sensae isn't finished... "And the question your alter-ego asked, Friend... How did I obtain my incredible power?" Allaura slaps her forehead. Dang, it was her alter ego! She didn't catch that this time. "I will tell you. I am a Chosen One, chosen by the Living Assets, to become the Sensae. I am over 200 years old and still young. That proves I am a Chosen One. And I'm sorry, Friend's Alter Ego..." His last part of his speech is combined words mixed with telepathy speaking DIRECTLY to Friend's Alter Ego... "...but this kind of power cannot be achieved by actions. Remember that." Sensae puts his palm on Friend's shoulder. His touch is enough to fill someone with confidence. "Friend, you have been given some great difficulties to work with, and you have done well so far. I am incredibly proud of you. But you still haven't reached your full potential... Do not worry, my child, for I promise that day will come." He puts his other palm on Allaura's shoulder. "Allaura, I'm extremely proud of you as well. Having a companion can and will change one's life... and you are willing to accept that kind of change, out of your own free will. I know that in time your bond with one another will be unbreakbale. I know these kinds of things." He removes both palms and claps his hands once, loudly. "So! Allaura, Friend, enjoy yourselves tonight! I will always be available if you need my advice, someone to talk to, or a favor." Out of the corner of her eye, Allaura sees Schwa begin to enter the Grand Hall coming from the Northeast Secondary Hall. She wonders what he needs, and also wonders if this would be a good time to introduce Friend to Schwa. |

| Friend remained there, staring at Sensae... she was afraid... so afraid... her alter-ego had yet again, risen against her will... and outside of battle at that! Her alter-ego was quickly gaining ground, replacing her true self more and more... in her head, a nightmarish vision appeared... She saw herself, her eyes empty of kindness, with only pure rage in them. She saw herself, completely dependant on the thrills of fighting and killing, unable to make any difference between friend or foe, killing regardless of the victim's guilt or innocense... ...and she was becoming more and more like this vision... Friend: "Sensae... can you remove my alter-ego?... and if you can't... can you tell me how? I'm scared... I don't want her to rise again... she's so cold... so cruel... so scary. If this continue on... she'll take over definitively!" |

| "Oh, child, come here..." Sensae says in a grandfatherly way. "You do not have to be afraid. I know the future, and though I see difficulty facing you in your adventures, I promise that, as long as you do your best, you will conquer your alter ego. "And remember, you have a goal to achieve, too... When you conquer your alternate personality, you will be able to go to the Oracle Haven. There you'll not have to worry about your body splitting itself open, and your lifespan will be much longer than 6 months, I promise. Keep the goal in mind and within reach, Friend." Schwa enters the Grand Hall. "Hi, Sensae? Whoa..." He stops when he sees Friend. "Hey Allaura, you brought Ex to the Psipalace?" "Her name is not Ex, it's Friend. She's not Lightheart like you thought... She's actually... half-Oracle!" Schwa is knocked off his feet. "DUDE! Half-Oracle, really? How, Friend? | Friend smiled. She seemed amused... to her, this was normal. Friend: "I'm an "Ex" being. Where I come from, I get to have this treatment everywhere I go... altought it must be even worse for Mother Ex. I don't know how many people worship her but well..." Friend suddenly felt a little ashamed... she stared at Luigi and then, she hid her necklace, which had a weird symbol on it, in her pocket. Friend: "Oh and... believe me Allaura... I do NOT worship Mother Ex... yeah... right... I wouldn't go around doing such a thing... hee... hee... hee... err... yeah..." Friend looked down and finally realised people were staring at her. She cheered up and turned to Schwa. Friend: "Oh! Sorry! So... you wonder where I got my powers from? Well... I am the next step in Project "Ex"! I am the new prototype for the ZX-107 generation of "Ex" beings! After the great Admiral Zerodius himself went to this world, he met with a specie of extraordinary beings... Oracles! Those beings featured many powers the "Ex" beings did not have... and altought Evil was gone, Mother Ex had asked Zerodius to continue Project "Ex" in order to send "Ex" beings in other worlds that had not the chance of being free of Evil like our own world. As such, seeing great potential in the powers of Oracles, he searched for years and years and years... and finally ran into an Oracle know as "Yiusi". While young, Zerodius's analysis shown that this Oracle had all of the powers an Oracle could wield and that someday, she could become one of the strongest Oracles ever if given the chance. Zerodius then proceeded to put the Oracle subject into a battle situation and pushed her powers to the limits!... and then, soaked with the Oracle's power, Zerodius returned to our world and used the samples and data gained to create the new prototype... the "Ex" being who would be the indirect mother of all the coming "Ex" beings..." Friend seemed really proud now! Friend: "I was created on this day! I am the first ZX-107 "Ex" being!... but... well..." Friend stopped smiling... she seemed quite... sad... Friend: "Zerodius had made a SLIGHT miscalculation when he programmed my DNA and Soul data... and as such, my dark powers that comes from the Dark Wind and amplified by a bio-mechanical "Dark Weapon" life-form are incompatible with the new Oracle powers. Which means that..." Friend suddenly felt an intense pain in her chest. Not now, not during an explanation!... well, it seems it will be... Friend tried to contain herself... she didn't wanted everyone to see her in this state... Friend: "... it... i... it... it means that... that..." Friend couldn't contain herself any longer as her dark and Oracle powers began to clash, ripping her apart from inside. Friend: "AAAAAAAAARG!!!" This one was way worse than any other she had before. She didn't coughed, unlike the other times... this time, the blood just flowed out of her mouth quickly and she was completely unable to keep it from flowing out. Closing her mouth caused her mouth to fill up almost instantly and forced her to vomit it all. Large wounds appeared on her chest, changing her sweater's color from blue to dark red. Her hands seemed to change color, growing black as if they were drained of all of the blood inside them. Then, there was a big burst of energy. Large dark flames came out of her body at the same time as large, multi-colored and almost crystal-looking flames. As the flames got out, Friend collapsed and the bleeding stopped. She looked awfully pale... Friend tried to stay awake... but she had been left weakened... Friend: "Why... what... did I... done... to deserve... that..." Friend fell asleep, unable to stay awake... |

| The crowd gasps at this sudden outburst. A lot of them start talking at once. "It's okay, my sons and daughters, it is to be expected. The two energies," he finishes, "are incompatable with each-other and are killing her." Another gasp. "Wait, can't she go to Oracle Haven?" a random Psi Warrior asks. Sensae replies, "Well, that's a little complicated... I can't tell you out of respect. It's fine, everybody, she will be okay! Allaura, you should take her to bed." "Yes, Sensae... *sigh* " Allaura carries Friend's injured body to a higher-up corridor, and finally to Allaura's room. There are two beds there now, not just one, as Friend's coming has been predicted. Allaura lays Friend on one of the beds and covers her with the soft, silk blankets. "Good night, Friend. Sleep well..." She then gets in her own bed and tries to fall asleep, but she can't... She has tons of things on her mind. OOC: We gotta get more people to join. |

| After Allaura goes to sleep, Friend wanders around until she get to a balconi of some sort. She stares at the nightsky... like most "Ex" beings, she didn't needed to sleep much... a hour or so per day at most... ...but Friend was a child and altought she still didn't slept much at all, she would fall into a state of "half-sleep" where she would fall into a state of deep meditation where her mind is completely empty... ...and soon, this state came. Friend's mind was drained and her perceptions began to alter as her dream began to replace reality... |
