No crap... It's been going downhill ever since Megaman X4 came out.
X7 is TERRIBLE! Ok, Capcom; explain a boss named Tornado Tonion; the Robotic Onion. I, personnally, am waiting for Rottengen Raddish!

It could as well be the translation who translate the names in a boring way.

I honestly say that I mostly played the NES megaman games, did play the first SNES one... but that's it.

Hadn't tried the GBA ones.

Megaman.EXE can destroy you. Seriously, it is a really fun RPG.

And in reality, the Megaman series has changed, not gone downhill. Play MMZ and MMZ2. They kick the crap out of a lot of games.

My opinion is mostly the same as EvillerLegion's.

The megaman games changed, that's all. They're still as much fun as they always were... exept maybe for the X games (X3 is the last really good one. X4 is still fun but the level design take a hit. Do not even think about X5 and above) but that's the only exeption (I think).

Yea, X3 was the last X game. X5 was the worst...

Anyway, Legion and Zerodius is right. The new ones (other than the new X's_) are still really good, but just different. I personally think the EXE series is awesome. And the MMZero series is even better (Have beaten MMZero2 twice now!).

(I want MMX3 on the Playstation...)

Play the Zero series and come back to me with that opinion. Sounds like you're talking about the BN/EXE series, which are RPG's. If you don't like RPG's then don't play the games. Simple.

Actually, X7 was the worst. Anything promoting the destruction of robotic vegetables is not for Clockworkz

MMZero was quite fun and challenging. That's an exception to your little rule that all games past the NES ones suck. I enjoyed the series up until X2, but then I too did not like the others. MMZero has saved Capcom's ass, or at least had me keep faith in them.

Tornado Tonion is homosexual, is he? Where did you get that idea? Are all onions homosexual?

And comparing the .EXE games to the other games is like comparing apples to oranges. It's like saying Mario games have gone downhill thanks to Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi. O.o''

You've got more than seven old-style MegaMan games to play. Stop complaining. ^-^

I haven't even played the newer ones, and I could tell you that. Same goes for Sonic, I believe. They tried to make those games more hip and more "today" and some how lost their way....lost that spark that made the classics what they are today, clasics.

that whole "hip" thing also hit the Donkey Kong series. Dear god, if they're gonna try to ruint he game by "hipping" it, at LEAST don't make it geared towards a 5 year old audience as well

How are they going downhill? Not every game can be solid, but you can only rehash the same formula so many times before you have to switch things up.

Even if the robot masters are pretty... unoriginal, as long as the gameplay is solid the games can't be all that bad.
