I'm having some SpyWare trouble and I'd really appreciate some help.
I have things called: AdWare FastStart, ShockDLL(I think), and a SlackBot. I don't go on-line with that PC anymore, and I'm getting ready to do a systems restore, however I have some important images I require for my games on that PC. If I were to copy them to a disc, and put them on my new notebook, would these SpyWare things be transferred as well?
What about images attached to my e-mail in my in-box? Are those safe?

Images shouldn't be a problem, but try to make sure none of the programs copy themselves to the disk. It's probably a good idea to disable auto-run on the notebook and don't run any programs on the disk.

I never heard of Spyware apps copying themselves to discs. They would never fit on a floppy, and I never heard of it being burned onto a CD automatically.

Why don't you download AdAware (by Lavasoft) and update it, then do a FULL SCAN. Then reboot, scan again, install Spybot S&D, update it, scan, reboot, and scan again. That should solve all spyware issues.
