Right, well... 1) You're allowed to say ROM. Just don't ask for one. 2) Sappy is for GBA games. 3) I haven't seen Bouche around here in ages. |

A message from Xkeeper (he asked me so nicely to post this... what should I do?): You're looking for a SPC set and a SPC player; SMRPG is a SNES game, Sappy is for GBA (as HH said)... www.zophar.net has what you're looking for (Game Music Archive, SPC/SNES). You need to get a player from there too (it's linked int he SPC Section), so have at it. by the way, just because I'm banned doesn't mean I can't help out =D. Bouche is still around on the Internet, just not on Acmlm board. He left for almost two years ago. And hadn't visited Acmlm board for over a year now. He don't hack at all nowdays. You can get full soundtrack downloads of video game music data at various places; most notably Zophar's Domain's Music Archives page. Also, you can snag a player for any o' thems at the corresponding Game Music Utilities page. (edited by BGNG on 06-18-05 09:26 PM) |

Whoop. I accidentally linked to movies. I fixed the link in my post up there. The Super Mario RPG archive is all of 488KB, so I think you'll be able to download it okay. |

Zophars' SPCs are mostly tagged badly / not at all and incomplete. I recommend using snesmusic.org instead. | |||

Just like HyperHacker and Kitten Yiffer said, Sappy is for GBA. It can extract MIDI tracks from GBA games (it's not actually MIDI format but very close to it). If you prefer to get SMRPG music in midi, you're probably looking for SPC2MIDI http://www.geocities.com/burningferret/spc2midienglish.zip. Just open the spc in it and go to Media->Play, and then Options->Advanced Setting and set corresponding instrument for each channel... and if you want to dump the music yourself you can do it in ZSNES, by pressing F1 during gameplay, and select "Dump SPC Data". It will save currently being played music |
