Kirby's Dreamland 3

I still preferred 2 compared to 3. The fact that 3 only came out when the SNES was on its death bed didn't exactly help matters either.

Super Star > Dreamland 3 in my book.

I say Super Star is the best kirby game for SNES.

OMG, I loved SNES. Here're my favs:

Super Mario World: Favorite. SNES. Game. Evar. This was the first game I ever got, with my SNES at 5, and I would try feverously to beat the donut ghost house, yet never getting peeved like I do now. Happy days, until tha SRAM chip died. Thank god for replacement cartridges.

Sim City: Much better than the PC version, I liked this games and still do because it gave me a lot of time to ond with my mom.

SMW 2: Yoshi's island: Liked this one a bunch too. Nice gameplay, challenging, and lovely art style.

SMAS: SMB? SMB2? SMBTLL?! SMB3?!?! *heart attack*. Loved the compilation. One of the best compilation games ever IMO.

Star Fox: 16-bit 3-D? Gotta love it. Great gameplay, and several textures used too. Brilliant example of what good coding can do.

SMRPG: Although i've never played the cartridge, I am looking to buy this one. Loved the style and storyline

MMX series: My favorite SNES games, or at least in my top 10. My kind of game, and sci-fi, to boot.

Super Maio Kart: My first intro to the DSP, this game RoXd by Sox for a while.

Kirby Superstar (i think that was the title, too young to be 100% sure): Nice game, great MP, at least for 7-year-old me. Liked kirby, too.

Ahhhh... Nothing like the classics.

Was Actraiser apart of that or was it just and Enix title?

...

Oh yeah, and Actraiser. Sidescoller blended with a city sim. Not Actraiser 2 though, that game sucked.

One thing about Soul Blazer I've got a say though is that it's the only overhead sword-fighting game I know of where the you stay right-handed, reguardless of whether you're face left or rigth.

Actraiser wasn't part of that trilogy at all - it was its own series obviously, since the game did spawn a direct sequel.

(Actraiser 2 wasn't THAT bad if you just liked action...)

I find the sim sections of Actraiser to be overrated, actually. It's like SimCity for Dummies or something.

That's a good way to put it. Still though, I thought it was a pretty good game. I really didn't enjoy the 2nd one though, even as an action game I would have rather played Castlevania IV or something over it.

And I never really liked Kirby's Dreamland 3, I don't know what it was but I just didn't enjoy it as much as Dreamland and Superstar (Kirby's Dreamland has always been my favorite).

And what was Kirby's Dreamland 2 for?

Well technically the sim sections were the side attraction of the game; nobody expected Simcity. But if nothing else, it was certainly a unique fusion of the genres.

I'd take KDL2 over 3 anyday, personally.

Here are my favorites:

Super Mario RPG :What's better than this? The idea that Peach, Bowser and Mario is fighting together!

Super Mario World :Levels, features(items, etc), and the music was awesome.
I started loving it more when I started hacking it.

Yoshi's Island :The GFX are just too cool. And the idea that yoshi can fly.
The music, eggs and all that... but some levels are boring.

Kirby Superstar :The best kirby game out. I like the Outer space mode best.
(The one you beat the stupid clown guy)

Kirby's Dream Course :I liked it except the GamePak Broke! Oh no!

Super Nazo Puyo: I think this was only out in Japan.
It's a tetris-type puzzle game.

I have all these games, and I love them all.
Actually I love every game I have

Several games have been added, also I nominate, obviously, when I have the nickname:

Rudra no Hihou.

It rocks, I have the japanese cart. Create your own spells, experience challenging boss-battles if you have not the right mantras, have simply the best animated graphics ever seen on the SNES. Plus the music has definitively quite impressive tracks, ranging between silence (Quest of Rudra's Mines) and hard-type music (The Flame and the Arrow, Battle of The Last Enemy tracks).

Plus, not mentioned (), Tales of Phantasia also is quite good and a very nice introduction of the gods from tri-Ace.

SMW was fun... but... Too damn easy. I can beat in in less than 20 minutes. "Oh no! I died! I only have 98 lives left!" That's why poeple hack it; to make it hard and more fun. ;;

Really... you can't compare Kirby Super Star to any other kirby game.... It's like Gradius Gaiden to any other Gradius game.

It's unfortunate that many people compare K64 to KSS, because they are quite different in gameplay.

-Super Castlevania 4: No matter what people say, This will be my favorite Castlevania game, due to it's arcadey style gameplay.

-Contra 3: Action at it's finest for the SNES. Suprised noone mentioned this.

-Axelay: Not the best gameplay, pretty good level design, but the best damn music ever to come out of the snes. NOTHING CAN COMPARE.

-Spanky's Quest: I played this game alot when I was little. It had a unique gameplay in which you lob a bubble over your head, then pop it, and a ball would come out to destroy the enemies. Funky, almost disco-like music, too. If I made a level editor for a game, it would be Spanky's Quest.

I liked it too but why did they put a level where you can get 20 lives in. You'll just replay it to get more lives and press start and select to return to the map. They made that same mistake in SMB3 in World 7 but the one in SMW is easier to do. Plus in SMB3, you only get one shot for getting those lives unless you have the GBA game of SMB3.
