Dude ... don't even go there.

I'll just name a few, but I could go on forever (obviously, the SNES is my favorite system).

Donkey Kong Country 1-3 - Perphaps the best adventure games out there that came close to Mario and Sonic. The music in all of these games were also incredible.

Super Metroid - Simply put, one of the greatest games that sits on our green Earth.

Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past - Easily my favorite Zelda game. Has been for years, and always will be.

Super Mario All-Stars - Take 4 classics from the NES, boost the graphics and music, add in a minigame for SMB3, boom, incredible. I'm still waiting for All-Stars 2 though ...

Super Mario World - My second favorite Mario game. Yoshi was cool, especially the Blue one. The cape was good, but didn't compare to the Raccoon tail. But still, this game was enormous, and impressive.

Yoshi's Island - Take SMW, change it drastically, and yet keep the great fun factor. This game just rocked, it was definitely different, but it's easily one of my most remorable Mario games.

Secret of Mana - Real time fighting RPG? Now that's some fun stuff. Great music, great storyline, great magic system, great everything.

Seiken Densetsu 3 - This game still impresses me. It looks like something you'd see on the PSX. This game is just so ahead of it's time, you can't miss out on it. It's HUGE.

Kirby Superstar - You liked Kirby right? Well here he is, in 10+ different games and even more minigames. Nice.

Megaman X-X3 - They all freaking rocked. Incredible music, a darker storyline than the originals, new characters, still provided a challenge, just nice stuff.

Starfox - 3D?!?! Yeah, this game was one thriller back in the day. Great music and everything.

Super Castlevania IV - Just improve on the originals with an updated system, and you've got Super CV.

Final Fantasy IV-VI - IV is easily a very good solid RPG, very underated. V had the job system from III and improved upon it. VI just took the franchise into a whole new direction. VI is easily and still my favorite Final Fantasy.

Chrono Trigger - An awesome game with a cool concept behind it; time travel. The music is absolutely stunning also.

Super Mario Kart - Multiplayer absolutely rocked.

Super Mario RPG - Hey, what can I say about my first RPG? It just rocked, it was just cool seeing Bowser and Mario actually team up together to take on Smithy and his gang.

F-Zero - High speed racing with Megaman-ish styled music? Freaking nice.

Gradius III - Sidescrolling space shooter at it's finest, with great music.

Teenage Mutant NInja Turtles IV - Turtles in time baby, this game was just like the originals on the NES, great and fun.

I'm done for now.
That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

As I said, the SNES is my favorite system. So, I could go on and on and on about how many games I really liked for it.

Not trying to degrade from the topic, but posts like that (ahhh, i c) or basically short replies similar to that are basically considered to be "spam".

Just remember that from here on out.

(So ... don't respond back to this, with another "ahh, ok" or something. )

Starfox - Best onrail shooter ever, or rather... it's a tie with Starfox 64 for me. Thought it's difficulty is hard enough while still being fun.

Yoshi's Island - Best music heard in any Mario game, and this is my favorite Mario game. It's challanging too, especally with the extra levels.

Earthbound - A shame this wasn't released in Europa. I liked this much more than Chrono trigger, due to it's humour. Sadly the remake won't make it to the west, at all.

Paradious - A recent favorite of mine, it's just... mad. Wierdest bosses I have seen in any game, you must see it yourself to belive it.

My favorite system is N64.

Oh just a few?
Actually I agree with a lot of your choices Xeogred, so I'll be using your list as a guide to remind me.
Here are mine that I can think of now.. I know I'll come up with more later.

Super Mario World Of course I need to stick this in. I remember playing this at a babysitter's house when I only had a NES and didn't understand the idea of there being more advanced games. I cried because of all the buttons, although she had one of those funky controllers with all the extras anyway. Eventually I learned to love. This is the first game where the batteries died on me, my save file often gets erased. Oh well.
Donkey Kong Country Did anyone else get the Nintendo promo for this? Boy was it great, and it really suckered me into needing this game. I remember how the 3D look was hyped up and all, haha. I got this game for Christmas, I posted a pic here, a little while ago, of me as a little kid with no front teeth, grinning stupidly and holding up the game. I remember that too, it came in a huge box and then.. SURPRISE! Oh man.
Donkey Kong Country 2 My friend and I did a team game through this whole thing, it was so much fun. I was only able to get third place in the charts thing.. but I never used a walkthrough of any kind, so I have that to be proud of. I just couldn't find ALL of the secrets. I remember like, one of the last levels where you're a parrot and have to fly through this level.. I've only been able to beat that once, ever. That was such a bitch.
Super Metroid OWNS. I played this before Metroid, so maybe that's why I never really got into the original version. I traded this for The Lion King game, and I tend to have bad tastes with trades and all, but jeeze. I am so proud of this. I remember when I first saw this game, some kid was playing it in Toys R Us. He was whining about how it sucked and good games have timers, because he got stuck and couldn't get out. When I first played this game, I actually thought I won when I got the Morph Ball. I have no idea how I thought that, maybe because it took so long for me to find it, lmao. I totally bragged to my mom about it, and then I realized I was being stupid when I found out I had damn near the whole game to go through. Good times though. My mom got into it, and we actually called Nintendo Helpline for the first time because we didn't know how to get the grappling hook.
Yoshi's Island Yoshi's finest moment. I got this game for my birthday, omg. This was so fun. I don't know what to say about it, except I played it to death. I never got 100% though. I remember that level with the frog, I was always one or two points short somehow.
Link to the Past My favorite Zelda, it's so great. I got this for Christmas, along with those giant controllers with the joystick (which broke pretty quickly jfkldjfsd), that was great. It took me forever to figure out how to get past the beginning part, where you throw the bush to reveal an opening. My mom played along too, and at the end it showed we died 308 times. When I asked her what that meant (I didn't know at the time), she said it had to do our score, aha. The batteries on my LttP cart have also died, so the great 308 (rhyme bitch) is gone forever. I have the GBA version at least.
Secret of Mana I love this game. I wish there could be more RPGs like this, where your friends could help along. I'd rent it all the time, and I still have the instruction booklet I accidently kept somewhere. I remember being so proud when I beat this damn tiger thing that'd kill me over and over again. I could never get past this big forest part. Even trying out the ROM years later with two pals, we couldn't get past the forest. When I rented the game, there was this one file that was nearly completed. You could hop on a dragon and fly around everywhere. The only problem was that the file's name was "BITCH" and my mom forced me to delete it. I was so mad. It was my only taste at the game beyond the stupid forest.
EVO: Search for Eden I rented this many times too, and eventually got the ROM and played it non-stop. I love this game. You're like this fish, and you can get experience points to gain fish powers and all, and then you evolve into an amphibian, and then I think dinosaur.. it progresses like that. There are all sorts of secrets. I remember playing so much that I found them all, including secrets that weren't on the only GameFAQs guide (this was a long time ago), except for one thing. The guide said you could turn into an elephant, and I never got how. Ugh, the horror. I wrote a guide of my own, and my old computer at the time died, and I got so pissed I never wrote a guide again. Not that it matters, there's a thorough one on GameFAQs now anyway, last I checked. Anyway, about the game.. a lot of people bitch that it's too hard. It is challenging, but way fun. Just give it a chance folks.
Kirby's Super Star How can you not love this? By far the best Kirby game, the multiplayer mode and being able to play different games.. it's great. Why haven't they copied this style again? I know Kirby's Dream Land 3 tried to have multiplayer again, but they did such a horrible job with it. I could play this forever with a friend. I could never get all of the treasures myself and eventually cheated with a guide to get 100% in the game, hehe.
Super Mario RPG I have a lot of fond memories playing this with my best buddy at the time. I know it's a one player game, but we made it work so that we'd never get bored and would both play. Something that we got a kick out of, using Mallow's power that would tell the boss's HP, and then like subtracting how much damage we did every time we attacked with a big piece of paper. We didn't use a calculator, just long division, and we were always off by a lot. This whole game is just awesome, it's my favorite RPG style Mario game.
Final Fantasy VI The last SNES game I bought, I spent $40 for the cart, a PSX box, and a horribly photocopied instruction booklet. wtf >8( Still, I dig this game. I went through it once, got stuck right before the World of Ruin part, realized I did a horrible job levelling up, and went through it all over again. There was this timed thing you had to go through right before World of Ruin, and I remember BARELY making it. In fact, I barely beat a lot of bosses there. I never got Atma Weapon, and never had the guts to use Relm's sketch glitch. I got bored right before Kefka and haven't played since. =\
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I forget the full name of this, it's been too long. It's the one where you can team up with a partner and go around kicking ass, there's also an arcade version similar to this. It's just fun, I dig ass-kicking games like this.
Mario Paint I got this along with SMW. I don't know why I like it so much. I'd come up with my own stories while abusing the stamp button, and it was really fun for me at the time, when I had a good imagination.
Joe and Mac 1 & 2 Goes with the theme of my love for simultaneous multiplayer games. Just another great one, especially #2 where you had so much more to do.
Claymates I rented this as a kid and fell in love. Oh man it's great. You're this blue clay of blob, and you can turn into these animals with different powers. And you're on some sort of adventure. I don't remember the plot, but it isn't important. I just got the ROM, and it's still as fun as ever. I love this game, I hope to buy it someday.
No one will read this. Feel free to blame it on Hiryuu's lust for detail. >8(

Oh man that game rocked. It's a shame I've never actually seen it in person, did it not release in the US or something? I'd love to add it to my SNES collection.

(currently at 38 SNES games. I recently bought Gradius III for $5, probably the best $5 I've ever spent).

Oh they did! I rented it so many times from Blockbuster as a kid (and I live in the US). Keep an eye out for it, or try something like ebay.. though by looking at those prices..

Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium - Best wrestling game EVER for the SNES. EVER. The whole damn Fire Pro series is how wrestling games should be structured, actually - lots of strategy/timing involved.

Terranigma - It's a damn shame Enix didn't end up bringing this to the States. The best game in the Soul Blazer/Illusion of Gaia trilogy, it has a strong storyline, challenging gameplay and a wicked soundtrack. Thankfully it *was* released in Europe which means that we didn't have to deal with waiting for a rom translation.

Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III/VI - Duh. Easy picks to be sure. Two of the best RPG's ever made. It's a shame that FF6 cost my parents $99.99 when they got it as my Christmas present. :\

Lufia 2 - Another really good RPG and possibly the high point of the series... I haven't gotten around to playing the GBC/GBA versions but I hear they're not as good, which is a shame. In any event, the Ancient Cave itself was pretty ground-breaking but the game itself is your typical solid RPG.

Rockman and Forte - Otherwise known as "Megaman and Bass" here, where it was released on the GBA a couple of years ago. I *guess* you could call this Megaman 9 even though it wasn't billed as such... the usual really good MM game complete with 100 CD's/bios of characters from the series to collect. And many of those CD's are extremely difficult to get or are concealed well. Might take a while to grab all of them actually; you *need* to play through the game with both characters to do so.

Oh my... so many Square and Enix titles to think of...

Ok, let's put it this way. I like almost all titles by Square and Enix. Particularly FFVI (S), DQVI (E), Bahamut Lagoon (S), Soul Blazer series (E), SD 2+3 (S), CT (S), DQIV (E), and FFV (S). Along with that, I like Lufia 2 (Natsume, though Lufia 1 was Taito), SM All Stars + SMW (Nintendo), DKC series (Rare), LttP (Nintendo), Kirby Super Star (HAL), Earthbound (Nintendo and some gorrilla thing), Kirby's Dreamo Course (HAL), Tetris Attack (Nintendo), Mortal Kombat (Midway), SMAS+SMW (Nintendo), SMW2 (Nintendo), StarFox (Nintendo)....

And I'll say Star Ocean and SMRPG, because I'm not so sure how much work was contributed by Tri-Ace and Nintendo to the respective games.

EDIT: as a side note, I have more "favorites" on this system than any other.

I didn't have much of a SNES collection and I haven't caught up very much via emulation, but at least all the games I had were good. When I think of games that I spent umpty bazillion hours on and would happily replay over and over without getting bored, the following come to mind:

The Addams Family - One of the few movie-based games that not only does not suck but PWNS OMFG LOLZ. The gameplay is simple (explore the Addams mansion to rescue your family), but because the game mechanics are well-programmed and the developers obviously had a blast designing the insanely huge, elaborate, and secret-packed map and the game basically rewards you for goofing around (which is really the only way to find a lot of said secrets on your own), it's addictive. I played it obsessively for months and still didn't find the last few secret rooms until years later.

Kirby Super Star, Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy II (US) - What everybody else said. Yeah, I'm lazy. Bleh.

I spent so many years only playing Super Nintento. I lived in an area where new things didn't get to us quickly, so it took me a few years before I found out about new consoles. Anyway, I have alot of favorite SNES games:

Breath of Fire 2
- I played this before even playing the first Breath of Fire. I have always found it to be a good RPG because it has a good story, and there's even a little bit of customization since you can decide what your town will look like from three choices.

Chrono Trigger
- Another good RPG, and it has always been one of my favorites. I have finished many times just because of New Game +, and trying to see all of the different endings was also interesting.

Earthbound
- I really liked how Earthbound was very different from other games. Playing games with swords and axes in some sort of medieval era is fun, but it

I made this as one of my first posts here, but since it is so old, I will let this go. Anarachy Man, your last couple of threads have only been lists in here. Please try to put a little more detail into your posting because it will begin to borderline spammy, thank you You can use everyone else's replies to this as a guideline if you do this kind of thing again. Super Metroid: Programmed by God and and handed down to Nintendo. This is the best Metroid Game by far, and the only game that earned a 10.0 in my personal ratings.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island: SMW2 is a colorful, beatiful game. It's not incredibly hard, but the sheer ingenuity of it was astounding. 9.8

Final Fantsy 6: This sports one of the best visuals I've ever seen in a game. The Opera Scene is wonderful, too. 9.9

Firepower 2000: An underrated game, this top down shooter was fastpaced, fun and easy to control. With a buncha weapons at your disposal, wreak havok across six stages for... a really crappy ending. 9.6

Donkey Kong Country 2: This was the Best DKC game in my opinion. The levels were fun, the music was great and the visuals were, as usual, spectacular. 9.7

Kirby's Dreamland 3: One of the more overlooked Kirby games, the pastel and crayon art style was fun and ingenuitive. It was only topped by Kirby & the Crystal Shards. 9.8

There's a lot more; I just don't feel like posting them all now.
