Hokuto no Ken Pachinko Slot Just when you thought all the good game ideas are taken, along comes a Fist o' the North Star themed gambling game. FotNS and Gambling shouldn't even be used in the same sentence, let alone it's own game. I've made a poster just for this occasion. Anyone else have any "WTF?" games? |

Alastor the Stylish Hey! I made a cool game! It's called "I poisoned half the food, so if you eat you might die!" Have a taco. Level: 114 Posts: 6642/7620 EXP: 16258468 For next: 51099 Since: 03-15-04 From: Oregon, US Since last post: 2 hours Last activity: 2 hours |

It's hard not to think of that one scrolling shooter filled chock-full of homoerotic themes, though I can't remember the name of it. I'm sure someone will see this post and say it, though | |||

Escape From Atlantis. It's for the NES. Here's a storyboard of the game I created some months ago (spoilers omg) I encourage you all to google and download this. The intro music will blow your mind. |

....Is that the one with the two muscle dudes looking for Holy Protien? I think it's Super Chou Aniki, or something like that. I've seen it before... This game, right? |

...You really should have shared that with us sooner, Ashley. I don't even think Escape from Atlantis was released... wasn't it a proto? Anyways, I see your Fist of the North Star/Pachinko combination and raise it with a Neon Genesis Evangelion/mah-jong combination. Seriously. And I think *many* anime games have mah-jong titles to boot. NGE might have multiple ones. |

Any Paradius game. What the heck, just go here. Other weird games would be ... Boogerman, and Toe Jam and Earl. Man you'd have to be high to come up with that stuff, or -something-. Funk Points? |

Originally posted by Clockworkz Without even seeing the image, I can confidently say that yes, that is the series you're thinking of (Which translates basically to "Super Big Brother"). And yes, I said "series". How about Square no Tom Sawyer, which features arguably the most racist portrayal of a black man ever in video games? |

I think it was an NES game. I've seen the picture of the black dude. It made my stomach sick with "OMG 1930s DISNEY" |

I really oughta download the arcade Paradious games. I only have the two SNES ones. Heh, the Japan only release Paradious have sexual suggestive content. I don't know about if the Japanse versio of the first Paradious for SNES also had suggestive things. I only played through the English version... I <3 the cattleships. Originally posted by Kitten Yiffer I don't think any of the SNES ones had "suggestive content" (assuming we're on the same level here ), but Sexy Paridius does, which you can find for MAME. But, it's only suggestive stuff, don't expect to be attacked by hentai characters or anything. (as it says at classic gaming, nothing pornographic or anything). |

I could show a few examples from that game, keep in mind it's the japanse copy. Nintendo of Japan is not as strict as Nintendo of America was. That japanse only version is only suggestive and nothing pornographic like the MAME ones. I mean, one boss in that version attacks you with boobs... I better take some screenshots... |

Um... That's a bit more than suggestive. I know Sexy Parodius is risque (that's probably the best way to put it) but it's also full of the more general Parodius jokes and parodies as well. At least, being a simple shooter, you don't need to know Japanese to play. I'm surprised the game never landed in North America though. |

Originally posted by Kitten Yiffer Thing is, didn't the Paradius games not even release in the US though? Or are you talking about the one for MAME? But does Nintendo have control over MAME games? Kitten Yiffer, you have confused me. Colleen: Does that really make you dizzy or something? That would truly probably make the game more challeging. Being attacked by boobs? There goes my concentration. (edited by Xeomega on 06-17-05 09:22 PM) |

Star Fox - Out of this Dimension is the land of WTF. The background looks like you're on an acid trip. The music must have been composed by a mentally deranged person. Cave Story - WTF is Balrog?! A toaster?! WTF is the point of Curly's Underwear?! WTF?! Metroid Fusion - WTF is this so horrible?! Wario Ware - This game (and all the sequels) are design for people with ADD. |

The final one, of course, is the best SNES Parodius by far. Great levels and enough ships to shake your first at. Zero Wing, by itself (MINUS the Engrish), is an above-average shooter. Nothing awesome but decent enough if you want to put a bit of time into it. |

Well, first I'll start off with some background info of myself. For those of you who do not know, I am a type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed at age 4 in 1992. Ok, enough of a background? Good. Ok, so sometime when I was young and learning about my own disease, Captain Novolin was released. OMFG. WTF |
