I've tried loading them on my comp but when I go to "Run ISO" it wo't even play anything. And I noticed there is a picture of a floppy disk... Do they have to be on one or something? Because my comp is too new or something... It doesn't have a place for floppy disks...

Getting these things to work took me forever! It's worth it in the end though. Make sure you're using ePSXe, and you have the right graphics plugin for your graphics card, it'll tell you what you need in the help file I'm pretty sure. Then turn all of the settings right down. I don't know what's up with mine, but after I change the settings, I need to reboot, because there's no chance of it loading up otherwise.

It's best to run the ISOs off your harddrive, too, as it's the quickest way to tranfser the data.

I downloaded a ZIP folder full of pluggings, and I needed to use the oldest version of a particular type. You could always try that, too.

After you've changed all of your settings, just try rebooting, as it might help.

I'll tell you what I'm using:

I have a GeForce 2, 32MB shared memory graphics card, so I have to use Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.75 video pluggin.

Fullscreen mode is clicked
resolution at 800x600, 32bit color depth
"keep psx aspect ratio" unclicked
"texture quality" under fast buy less colorful
"texture fildering" under 3: standard w/o sprites unfiltered 2D.
"Hi-res textures" is on option 0: None (standard)
Gfx card vram is on option 0: auto-detect

Frame skipping you can change as you please.

Compatability:
Off-screen drawing under option 1
frame buffer textures under option 2
grame buffer options under option 0

Alpha Multipass is clicked
Mask bit is not clicked
Advanced blending is clicked

All of the Misc. options are unclicked.

Once you finally get it working, you can push Del to bring up a bar up the top of the screen, where you push "1" and "3" on the num pad to change some settings without having to exit. The first option is for changing your framerate between whatever you want. Mine is on 60, 120 and 200 FPS. The second option if clicked ignores the first option and puts it into auto frame rate.

F1 is to save, F3 is to load and F2 is to change save-states.

Hope this helps you out.

You should try epsxe 1.5.2. It is better than 1.6 for some reason. I don't know why just get the 1.5.2. Believe me I try getting games to work for the 1.6 but it still won't budge..

Eh, lately in ePSXe 1.6 I've been having the sound fuckup and freeze on me in parts in tales of destiny 2, and Legend of Mana, is that for just me or what? :X

Everything's fine with my 1.6. It can however take a while before DDR5 works in perfect timing. DDR5 on my friend's PSX actually runs slower than what it's supposed to.

Yeah, I havn't had any problems with any ISOs as soon as I got this working.

Guys!!! I still can't play anything!!! Whenever I load it, I see a thing pop up for less than a second than it is gone... What do I do? HELP!!!! I've tried several plugins too!!!

Sheesh, this is getting so stupid I'd rather somebody just send me all their files so it will work...

eh. quit begging, for isos, try emule, or some torrent site. as for someone sending you their files so it'd work, it probably wouldn't. My I ask what your computer statistics are?

I'm not asking for ISO's. I'm not asking for anything.

All I know is that it's pretty new and it has Windows XP Plus.

Nevermind. I really don't care anymore.
