WOW, this hack really looks better every day. I will wait patiently and hopefully for this hack's debut. And just a small idea for the thwimp luigi, maybe allow him to jump but not walk?

What would be really cool (qand maybe impossible, I have no experience in ASM hacking) IF the Koopa Kids had different powers, like the first one throwing goombas or something.. That'd be really unique if possible... Unless you alreayd had something like that... Anyway, it loks great.

I hadn't heard about hacking enemies or bosses before. Heck not even in the SMW hacking. So that will be very intresting...

Looking at the screen shots freaked me out 'cause the hack looked so, ya know, yowza. Would it be possible to, like, show us some of these new bosses? Hold on, I have ideas already. Make one guy throw hammers like a Hammer Bro, and sometimes three at a time. Then make one guy throw Boomerangs. What you could do is replace the command for shooting 3 Magic Rings (from the Koopaling's wand) into shooting 3 Hammers at the same speed. All you'd be doing is changing the item he launches. Then you'd have to change the direction he'd throw or the hammers would come out at the same direction as the magic rings, and plop to the ground.

Well the bosses will be tile based, meaning there won't be a sprite moving around that you attack. Making brand new sprites is a hard task to do, just ask SMW hackers. The new bosses haven't been coded yet, but once I get the first one coded, you'll be able to see it from a screenshot.

The palettes for the status bar could change so you wouldn't have to use up one of the boxes.

For one of the boxes: How about a sprite reserve? A barrel of water? (used for maybe filling gaps...) maybe a Block Reserve? (it would have to be a one time use)

I'd be cool to have a giant Bulllet Bill style boss that you had to chase through the level until he crashed into a wall at the end. IF you lose sight of him, then you would lose or something.. That'd be really cool.

For Wlokos's idea, make the level a super-fast scrolling screen, and put the Bullet Bill behind Mario, chasing him. You could have Mario run through a tiny gap in the wall at the end, and the Bullet Bill hits the whole wall and dies.

Like I said, there won't be any new Sprite Based enemies, so the bullet bill idea is out of the question.

The 4 extra boxes have already been decided on as far as their purpose:

1st box = Item/Sprite reserver
2nd box = Current Ability in use
3rd box = Kuribo's Shoe reserve
4th box = Coin meter

The coin meter will fill up as you grab more coins, once it completes (making a full coin tile), then something will happen, just not sure what yet,

Yeap, it'll work almost the same way, with a target to hit and sprites are usd as its attacks.
