NO$GBA supports link. It costs lots of money, though. (Kind of ironic with the name...)

Hey, has anyone actually PAID for that emu?

I paid for No$GMB, but not No$GBA, 'cause that is too expensive.

Eh, it's only a 4995$ difference.
Nah, I doubt anyone actually paid for that.

actually i know somebody who did. hes a rich spoit kid though.

If it's such a spoiled kid, why didn't it just by all the games it want's to play?

For that price you can get a debugger that's actually a modified GBA, to which you dump the ROM and run it. Plus it doesn't have stupid limitations.
I believe there are warez versions available, but they take up a lot of RAM due to the hacky workaround for the filesize limit.

[edit] Hey, anyone have this guy's email? I'd like to know exactly how many copies he's managed to sell.

If you ever find one of thoose hacked versions Hyperhacker. Then at least IM the people who need it.

It's useful to test the linking feature on Hacked games. That is something that I would test when I get a flash cart, hack the game a bit and have the real cart and see if they still can communicate.

As long as you don't alter data or code, used for the linking, it should work, and you know, there ary many users on Acmlm's Board with a flashcard (ie: me)

And Hyperhacker, he disabled his public address, cause all the pok

yeah, as a result, the only way to contact the guy is through snail mail...so...people will think twice about contacting him since it will cost you to do so...

In regards to said rich spoiled kid:

Honestly, if he's rich and spoiled, he'd have no need to make games. And the thing would just be an emulator basically. It would have been in his best interest just to buy every GBA game on the market worth playing. He would've save at least a few thousand dollars.

lol, if hes sold alot of No$GBA then he must have alot of money, and I dont see why he is charging so much, what I saw is the $4999 is a business license, why not make a Personal license for 1/10 of that price, he would end up making more money, and its not like it took alot or any money to create NO$GBA anyway...so either way he isnt losing anything if he lowered the price or made another license...

Maybe because nobody's even going to pay $500 for an emulator? If the only reason you're doing it is for money, you shouldn't be writing emus.

exactly, I dont see why anyone would buy an emulator, I would rather play the actual console other then paying that much for an emulator...

think of game developing companies...they are the only ones who legitamately could use such a thing because it is cheaper and easier to test with an emulator than on the real thing. however, the consumer, paying for an emulator maybe be useful as it can be cheaper than the real thing...case in point: bleem

*cough*fileshare*cough*

But, I'm sure VBA will come out with it soon, after all ZSNES did it with the SNES [although I suppose that's completely different as it simply means redirecting controller commands.] But with the GBA you'll have to find a way of sending the ROM the commands another GBA would send etc. Once that was done, shouldn't be a problem. A GBA emulator that allows you full access to the memory, etc., inside the machine would be priceless for hackers. Is there one which offers the features of vSNES?

And Melvin (if you're still reading this thread)... you do know that the Japanese and the English in your sig don't exactly match... don't you?

Read the thread.

GBA link is uber fast.. 2MBit/s.. and I don't see that being supported anytime soon... seeing as Forgotten himself has said he would never implement it..maybe the take-overs can, but a speed of 2MBit/s is hard to match... 4MBit/s on another mode, as well as having to emulate second, third and fourth GBA's.. most people have problem emulating 1 without a frameskip.
