I have a cable connection, with a wireless access point/router. This computer is connected to the wireless part. Since last night, it's been very slow (156 bytes/second on downloads, anyone? That's a 10 hour download on a 3.46 MB file.)  I tried going on a computer that is wired instead of wireless. No luck there. It's just as slow. Same with the other computers in this house. I don't see how a virus or spyware could infect all 4 of the computers in this house simultaneously. Does anyone know what it might be? |

| For wireless, I have 64 bit encryption and a WEP key on... let me check the access logs to see if that's it. Edit: I checked... no one else is using it.  I tried something rather obvious... restart the router. And that worked. So this may be closed.(edited by Luigi on 04-05-04 02:51 PM) |
