alright so in that one ignore thread I posted this:
"an ignore feature for PMs might be cool, though. like... if someone on your ignore list sends you a PM, it says "sorry, this user is ignoring you" And a feature to go along with that would be a priority list for PMs so that like people that you have a priority from hearing from might get like stickied in your PM list"

But you know, I was just thinking... something else that'd be really good would be a delete option for PMs in the PM list so you don't actually have to open the PM to delete it. it'd fix a potential security risk (ie. malicious user posts malicious code, user can delete PM (assuming they know it's a malicious user) without having to first open the PM) Just a thought, but it might be a nice feature.

So there ya go, three suggestions :oD

Sounds good in theory, but if they actually did this, it could be possible for somebody to delete warnings from admins and then when they are banned, they could say, "Well so-and-so never sent me a PM!"

Maybe there can be a deletion cache (sort of like a recycling bin where all the other messages go to)?

Maybe Acmlm could fix this bug that when a PM is deleted, both PMs (sent and received) are deleted. Maybe he should make so when you send a PM it sends a co py to the "sent" folder or something.

I still remember when I was trying to clear my "sent PM's" list becuse I spammed by without knowing. (someone tricked my browser to send PM's to a certain user. )

A Ignore feature, if a user annoys you to much. Tell him that he is annoying. If he is really is bugging you, he may get banned/warned.

Don't forget to add something like:

if($user[powerlevel]>0){
print "You cannot block Moderators and Administrators";
}

I was going to suggest this earlier in the year because a certain Tikalfan was sending me stupid PMs....

So yes, for all of the stupid PM spammed victims out there, this would be a nice feature.

Ideally, you'd have it so admins can't be ignored

yeah, really all you need to do to make the feature work perfectly just make it so someone with the power level of Moderator and above cant be ignored, and if someone tries, it says you cannot ignore this person, and itautomatically sends a PM to the mod or admin that you tried to ignore

A Delete All Option!!!!!

Edit: And ideally, a checkbox-delete system.
