The rematch for the national title! Will Georgia Tech win their first, or will UConn win their 2nd in 2 trips in the Final Four?

I say UConn, because of one name, Emeka Okafor. They say guards are god inthe tournament, but an inside presence does'nt hurt either.

So does guard play

It will be a tight game... especially if Okafor gets in foul trouble at all...

Look at the NBA. Allen Iverson in all his magic couldn't win against Shaq.

Yao has turned the Rockets around, etc.

But, gaurds do help |--| that much.

Georgia Tech, only for the sole reason that UConn killed my bracket.

Slight caveat to the question: Last time, Okafor was supergimpy, and Rashad Anderson, Boone, Villanueva, etc. hadn't emerged. Then again, neither did Schenscher...

But still. Georgia Tech or UConn? DUH. Huskies go two for two.

1. Allen Iverson is one of the most selfish players in the NBA. Just look at how many shots per game he takes. He may SEEM magical... but really, he just shoots so much that he gets to score every once in while... meaning he gets 20+ pt. per game. You won't be seeing a Philly championship anytime soon because of Iverson.

2. You do realize Houston has Steve Francis, right?

1. When they went to the finals, he was mildly better, and now he does pass more.

2. Yeah, I do...they were sub 500 I believe before Yao, then they're playoff contenders.

They rolled them pretty easily. I thought it would have been a little closer than that.

I'm dissapointed, i thought it might be a little closer than that. GT tried to make it close at the end, but it was never in doubt.

Heh... you gotta love how in the game, the announcers said it was a shame that it was such a great tournament, but the title game would suck so badly.

And you know it was a blowout, when they talked to Ray Allen and Rip Hamilton. (might be radio only)

That usually happens in blowouts though. One team's winning by 20 or so and they ease up - final margin is 9 or 10 but the result was never in doubt.

Well, it's a sweep for UConn, not only did the mens team get a 2 seed, and win the national title, but the ladies team got a two seed, and won the female national title, over Tennessee, 70-61.

Cosmic.

Yeah, don't forget that they had the same margin of victory: nine points.

Yeah but I have no problem with the UConn girls - that program is a freaking dynasty.

Tennessee has a really good program too but come on - UConn should have no problems recruiting.

Threepeat? I think just Tennessee. Men and women winning the same season? Nope. Closest was Duke in 1999, but they both lost (men did the jay-oh-bee to UConn, incidentally...).
