At the moment im using a MS Access database, but I want to try using a different method. I need something to store data, which I can edit with VB and run queries on. I was looking at .CSV files, but from what I've seen on my many google searches is that you can't run queries on them... also if you know any sites which could get me started that would be great. |

CSVs are raw Excel data files, you probably can 'query' them from a macro or VB program, but I don't really think it'll be a matter of a short and easy line of code. And it depends no what you need to store actually. I'm currently using XML files as small databases, and INI files for things such as program settings and remembered login info. |
