When I'm leaving the house, I close all windows and put down all roller blinds beforehand. At least it is way less hot than leaving everything open and thus overheating. Hence a car in a parking lot, exposed to full sun ... when you return, you'll almost die in the heat if you have no air condition installed |

I sleep with my window open and my fan on. Sometimes my door is shut so the cold won't escape. Its a great, cold experience. =P Snika |

CYROKINESIS! Kudos to you if you get the reference. But in all seriousness, Air conditioning. (edited by Valcion on 06-14-05 06:07 AM) |

I could never live without air conditioning...Michigan is cold during most of the year, but temperatures get into the 90's in the summer. We have ceiling fans, but they aren't very effective... |

Air conditioner in the kitchen. And I have a small fan I bought recently from Wal-Mart for $6. I have it beside me on my desk. It's on LO right now. XD (edited by jasukan on 06-14-05 07:00 AM) |

A/C, thankfully. When I was younger, we didn't have a/c, save for my bedroom and my father's room. And in a south Florida summer, living in a trailer, it was always hot, even in the winter. |

I hate fans. Air conditioning and walking in the pool (I, uh... can't swim) are the only things I'll do. I also keep my window open at night in the winter, though... |

A/C and fan combinations. The A/C keeps it cool, but it doesn't give off the right type of "hum" to put me to sleep, so before bed, I turn off the A/C and turn on the fan.

The only method we have is to open the windows and leave doors open so that the air can flow through. We don't have any fans, or aircondition or anything of the sort.

A/C is enough, but I like to keep extra cool so I'll add in a few fans here and there ... I also have a fan going in my room 24/7, especially at night because I hate sleeping in "silence". And my rooms in the basement of the house, so ... I don't really have to worry (it's always cold). |

A/C is usually enough here for the first floor. But due how hot air goes upwards the 2nd floor is usually alot warmer. Just opening a few Windows is enough as it's quite windy here at times. We have a few fans too, which are wonderful when it's very hot. And we also have a portable Air conditioning too. (which we use on the second floor at times) |

I wonder who will pick Fridge/Freezer Air conditioning when it get too hot--otherwise, i'd just stay downstairs with the shades closed. |

Well we have A/C but my room is the hottest so I have a ceiling fan that squeaks almost constantly . But other then that, my house is pretty cold. |

I close all the blinds in my house during the day, then open the windows at night. Wake up during the sun rise, and shut the windows/blinds. |

I don't know what it is but I just hate having the windows / blinds open at anytime during the day. I always feel as if someones watching me or something. Unless it's extremely hot and the house needs some air, I usually keep the windows closed where I hang out in the house. |
