Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/gamingg/public_html/board/lib/dbinfo.php:10) in /home/gamingg/public_html/board/lib/function.php on line 35

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/gamingg/public_html/board/lib/dbinfo.php:10) in /home/gamingg/public_html/board/lib/function.php on line 36

White spaces, go in dbinfo.php and delete all of the spaces after ?>. There shouldn't be any spaces under the ?> in dbinfo.php, colors.php, config.php, or layout.php.

Alright, did that, but now when I click links, it goes to "http:///index.php" for example, instead of "http://www.mysite.com/index.php". I think I edited config.php correctly, but it is possible I didn't.

I did read that, along with several others threads, otherwise I wouldn't have asked.

Then you missed number 5...

5. Nextly you should go to the boardconfig tab then click browse then proceed to edit and enter the location of your board in the boardurl field.

//Board and site info
$boardname="My Board";
$siteurl="http://www.mysite.com";
$sitename="My site";

// The id attribute on the body tag. Will allow visitors to customize your page via browser stylesheets and pinpoint your AcmlmBoard specifically.
// Please change this to your domain (but with "-" instead of dots) even if you don't have any idea what this does.
$bodyid = "www-board-mysite-com";

I have it set up like that.... what did I do wrong?

you have to go into the MySQL data base table named boardconfig and change the value of boardurl field to your URL

not the php files

If you atleast registered your first user i will take a look at it if you like? to see if i can log in.

if you are having a problem registering your first user (yourself) then try deleting the register.php and renaming register.php.oldway to register.php so you can use that one.

Try deleting your cookies, then try again.

Normally, that fixes it for most people (but get someone else to try for you. No reason why it shouldn't work)

Yeah as DarkSlayer said either try deleting your cookies and trying again or it could be because you have more blank spaces in a file such as...

login.php
function.php
config.php

I remember this was a problem when members were using 1.8, 1.8a.

Deleted empty spaces, deleted cookies and tried again, had a friend check. Nothing wants to work for me, all I can think of to do is to re-install it over again and see if it works, other than that, I am screwed. I guess I got really used to the old version of acmlmboard I had XD.

Another possibility if you are using Internet Explorer... Go to

Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy and set it to Medium and apply.

If there was still spaces, I think you would get the "Cannot Send Header" message.

Also, this isn't likely to happen, but check if your host's domain has problem with cookies (some host mess up cookies)
