| OOC blah blah blah blah blah, you know the drill, but if everyone but Zerodius, wait a 3 days before you post in here, 1 person. Oh Zerodius, you see this, use Ex. The land was peaceful, but of course this wouldn't last long, like most calm, peaceful fields, its going to get destroyed in some battle between two warriors. Odin: "Nice opening." Shadow: "Quiet and let me finish." *Ahem* As I said, the field was peaceful, and flat... really flat... And~ Odin: "No, let me do it, you have never fought and don't know a good battle field." Shadow: "Sure whatever." Odin: "Excellent!" Ignore everything that just happened, the area is a giant arena, I mean giant, like 5 foot ball fields giant. Made completely out of cold hard stone. No stands, no seats, no entry ways, just a huge slab of stone randomly placed in the ground. Shadow: "The field had better "It was a chance of fate"ness to it..." |

| OFF: Challenge accepted. Ex tries to intimidate her foe trought both the way she comes in and with the choice of insults. Don't worry however... there will be no god-modding during this battle. ____________________________________________________________________ Suddenly, in the middle of the battlefield, a strange vortex opens itself... Instantly, a veil of darkness appears, blocking the sun's light and a strange myst appears, covering the ground and giving the battlefield a creepy and eery look... Then, the vortex suddenly contracts and tremendous amounts of dark energy are sucked inside as the vortex begins to grow... and then, once it became as big as Odin, it exploded, sending a hurricane of black energy everywhere... and when the black energy dissipated, a being was where the vortex once was. Completely covered in dark flames and floating above the ground was a dark mouse-shaped figure with long, rabbit-like ears. It's red glowing eyes seemed to scream "Hey! Look at me! I'm pure evil!". ???: "Heeheehee... what are this creature standing before me?" The being smiled and stared at Odin... ???: "It's Odin, isn't it? Heeheehee... I have waited for this moment... You who thinks that Fate should govern the lives of mortals... I shall finally show you the power that flows inside of a mortal freed from Fate!" The being invited Odin to step foward... ???: "I am "Ex Lightheart", the wielder of the Sword of Flesh, Dark Weapon. A power output of about 10% should be more than enough to overkill you 5 times... and as such, I shall do so." The veil of darkness slowly vanished as well as the dark flames. Ex slowly landed, back to her regular form. She teleported in clothes (any clothes she may have been wearing are instantly consuming when she transforms), put them on, and then unsheated Dark Weapon. Ex: "I won't need much power for this fight actually... You are nothing but an amateur after all. Defeating you will be easy... but first..." Ex turned to the Shadow. Ex: "You're the Narrator, aren't you? Well... if you are... then NO MORE BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL! If you do so... then you shall be fired! Heard?... and if you're not the Narrator, then stop acting as if you were him!" Ex turned back to Odin. Ex: "Now... show me your power before I actually fall asleep from boredom!" |

Shadow: "Fine, I'll leave now  "The shadow disappeared. Odin: "10%!?!?" Odin looked incredibly angry, holding his sword out like he was ready to kill everything in his path. Odin: "10%!?!?!?? Come on! Give me 110%! You can't beat me with 10% or 110% and I'm here to prove it!" Odin dashed towards Ex, jumping high into the air, taking his sword with one hand and spinning in air, slamming the sword down heavily right next to Ex, making a huge crack in the stone that seemed to stretch both ways all the way until the edge. Odin: "Really, you're going to have to try, for your own safety." Odin suddenly picked up the sword and brought it to the side of him, still pointing out, with pleanty of force, he slashed horizontally at Ex, trying to cut her in half at the very begining. Odin: "This isn't your universe, where only good and evil exist and where fate is broken to the point where everyone does as they please. We have a guiding law in our universe, its still a choice, but this fate, just makes incredibly odd coincidences." |

| OFF: Odin is in for a big surprise... the version of Ex I'm using for this battle is special; it's at the same power level that she was at the end of Chronicles of Darkness. That means that Ex is basically THE strongest lifeform... even stronger than Chaos! Unlike most god-like characters, Ex is not easily angered. She prefers to let weaklings realise by themselves how weak they are unstead of showing off her power. In Odin's case, she will stand there and let him attack as much as he wants while she stands there and wait until he decides himself to accept her proposition to fight her at 10% power... and believe me, nothing Odin can possible do will harm this version of Ex! NOTE: When Ex says that she will use 10% of her power... she means 10% in every way. This means that not only will her offensive power be lowered, but so will be her defense, speed, evasion, e.t.c. In short, she will no longer be cheap. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex laughed as Odin dashed toward her and tried to cut her in half. As the blade struck Ex, a loud "CLANG!!!" could be heard. Obviously, the attack had no effect. She didn't even flinch. Ex: "Hahahaha... how very funny... Do you REALLY believe you can defeat me with such weak attacks? Come on! Step on your pride and accept to fight me at 10% power." Ex smiled. Ex: "I can nuke entire galaxies with one attack when at full power! How can you possible compete with a being that can do that?!? 10% of my power is HUGE, you know! I only use that much power when facing legendary beings after all!" Ex's smile widened... Ex: "...And anyway, how will your pathetic piece of metal be able to harm me if even Chaos, the Creator himself, can't erase me? You're just making a fool out of yourself." |

| OOC You'll love this then, and you'll see why I used Odin. This is after Ragnarok, a result... from one of the endings. Odin: "I see, I was gonna be nice and hold back till I knew how strong you were, I've heard before, strongest being ever..." Odin started to laugh crazily. He knew how to match Ex's power, completely. Odin tossed his sword into the air and started glowing. Odin: "I remember your power Ex, that second it flicked and Dark Pheonix got in the way, I assumed that was some of your strength, and I learned from it as soon as I saw it." Odin stopped glowing, his appearence not changing... He was wearing a wide brimmed hat, its shadow covering one of his eyes, his armor had long since been replaced by tattered old clothes, a spear on his back and a sword in his hand. He looked, worn down for being so strong. He lifted his hat a little, reveling he was missing an eye, but stared right at Ex as if it was there. His power had grown enough, that they could be called an even match, each at 100%. Odin: "Ex, I've grown old like all humans do. Not even a great power can save us all. I met another Star recently, he said he'd lived for over eight trillion years, he has no clue why he is even alive, but he is there, and he warned me about immortality. Ex. I want you to be as strong as you can, because thats the only way eithier of us will ever die happy..." Odin took the sword and held it in front of him, pointing it at Ex, feeling the power of the battle, this is what he desired, to fight the strongest person around, and either win, or die. Odin: "Use your full power." |

| OFF: Altought the proportions of this battle may get out of hand... I shall not break the rules. Also, while Ex is supposed to fight at full power... she will do so but will not use Energy-based moves. In short, no Eternum. She won't use moves such as Format, Soul Breakdown, or Nullify. Format reset all stats exept Life Force and Tech points back to what it was at the beginning of battle while Soul Breakdown make the target weak to ALL non-physical attacks and status effects. Nullify do the same but it's physically unstead of mentally that the user become weak. Ex will also not use Memory Buster and IQ Blast. Memory Buster erases all memories, causing the target to forget how to attack and defend itself. IQ Blast makes the opponent stupid... really, it does. For obvious reasons, these moves won't be included... but espect to see Sealed Spells (excluding Eternum) and advanced Dark Overdrives such as Hydra Storm, Omega Flare, and Ex Wrath. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex was shocked at first... but then, she got over her shock. Ex: "Hmm... impressive. I guess there's no reason to hold back then..." Ex raised Dark Weapon above her head. Ex: "I am Ex Lightheart, wielder of the Weapon of Flesh! May the full extend of my power be revealed! Great Dark Wind! I, your master, command you to come and to unseal my powers!" Suddenly, Ex's body seemed to become liquid and her body was consumed by dark flames... and then, out of the cracks between Time and Space, Ex's true form emerged. It was actually identical to her old one... but was completely made of dark flames. As for Dark Weapon... it's true form was revealed too. The ground cracked open as thousands of souls flowed out from the After-life and attached themselves to the gigantic blade of the living weapon. Then, Ex grabbed Dark Weapon and merged with it... and the soul merged with her... and more souls continued to flow into the arena... ...and when it was all over, Ex was standing in front of Odin, hidden by the dark flames. The souls were now gone... or were they? Ex was nearly three times as tall as Odin and had a third, rainbow-colored eye on her forehead. Dark Weapon's blood-red eyes glowed in the dark flames... Her aura was the same that NeoBowser had when at full power... and yet, she was surrounded by the same aura as Chaos when he was good. She was the Absolute Good and the Absolute Evil at the same time... she wielded both Creation and Destruction. If there was an ultimate being... then Ex was probably the closest thing to it right now. Ex: "Odin... I wield the power of Creation... and the power of Destruction. The battle that is about to take place can only destroy everything and as such, I will use my infinite power to send us in a place where our battle will take place without causing anyone's death..." Ex held Dark Weapon above her head and suddenly, everything faded into innexistance... Then, for some reason, they were suddenly back where they were... or is it? Ex: "I created an alternate Dimension just now. This Dimension is empty and as such, it doesn't matter how rough our fight will get since no life exist here. Now... HAVE AT YOU!" Ex flied out of the planet's atmosphere at such a speed that when she got there, she was 5 seconds earlier than the moment she actually left the planet. In short, her movements were so fast that they distorted Time, causing paradoxes. Once in space, she pointed Dark Weapon at the moon. Dark Weapon grown to the size of the moon and became a giant hand. Then, Ex used Dark Weapon to smash the moon into the planet. The strenght of the impact would probably destroy the entire planet... but who cares? Odin wanted to see her full power... now he would see it! (edited by Zerodius on 06-10-05 11:38 AM) |

| Odin watched as the moon came closer and gave a little smirk. The moon would certainly leave this planet crippled and the atmosphere very distorted, but he still need solid footing to have some fun. As the moon started to crash into the planet, focused on Odin, he held a single hand up and stopped it as he touched it. A huge shockwaves appeared and the moons surface began to cripple and break as it was pushed back into space towards the sun. Odin: "Yes, this is what I want to see!" Odin had stopped the moon with only his left hand, ignoring reality's consquences. He took his sword and slashed at Ex, the moon kind of in the way considering its size, cutting through the moon as a huge wave of energy streaked from the ground to space. |

| Becease of the distance seperating Ex from Odin, avoiding the incoming attack was a piece of cake. All she had to do was to move a few meters to the right and let the magic of mathematics do the rest (2 degrees to the right is nothing when in close... at far distances, it makes all the difference). Still, she was a bit worried that Odin was able to block the attack so easily... Ex *using telepathy since sound doesn't travel trought the emptiness of space*: "That was... unnespected... but I'm not TOO worried. This isn't quite "solar system" destruction level yet... altought you do seem to want to keep the fight ground-based unstead of space-based. I wouldn't blame you. Space Fights can get confusing becease of the lack of gravity... but anyway. I attacked, didn't I? I'll let you attack now... go on! Show me what you can do!" |

| Odin: "This Ex..." Odin grabbed his spear and hurled it at Ex, the spear shined for a second and then sped up. Odin: "This is Gungir, and it NEVER misses." Odin's spear sped up while he waited on the ground, it didn't seem like a big threat, just a simple spear after all. |

| Ex *thinks* Do you think we could break Gungir? Dark Weapon: "Gungir is a living weapon too. I won't be able to break it down... but it's power is no match for me. I'm sure you can block it." Ex *thinks* What about avoiding it? Dark Weapon: "Gungir has advanced homing capabilities; it will take WAY too much efforts to avoid it than it's worth." Ex *thinks* So be it. Let's it be an advanced Counter tech! Ex froze time as she unleashed the power of a Dark Overdrive. Ex: "May your attack be lost in the stream of lost souls that is the Dark Wind!" SOUL SHIELD!!! Suddenly, it seemed as if thousands of human beings had appeared right in front of Ex... Whatever magic Gungir was infused with, a direct hit would do no damage. Worse, the lost souls would retaliate for Ex and strike Odin with a defense-piercing, unnavoidable non-elemental attack that would inflict 10 times the amount of damage Gungir would have inflicted to Ex. |

| Odin: "Good, raise a shield..." Gungir headed straight for the shield and... completely disappeared? No trace of it was left, it just vanished. Odin: "Now." Gungir reappeared, already contacting Ex, completely ignoring the shield, the damage wasn't much, but it had hit, ignoring all defences possible. Its only draw back, was that its damage was relatively low, even if you were completely unprepared for the attack. Odin: "Good, now that I know what I'm doing..." Gungir appeared on Odin back and he held his sword to the sky. Odin: "Energy come to me!" For a split second, it seemed everything, everywhere came a little closer to Odin, hen he fired a huge blast into the sky at Ex, hoping to over power the shield and cancle it. |

| OOC Yes, I know, but... Odin = Ex right now, Gungir (A physical manifestation of Odin in many ways) = to Dark Weapon (A physical manifestation of Ex in many ways). Oh, this is the ONLY special effect Gungir has, other wise its just a spear. Its more focused on this one power, so in this case, Gungir > Dark Weapon. Dark Weapon has to think, regulate, and make attacks, Gungir has to do one thing and thats follow Odin's mind plan. So, right now, Gungir is completely focused on this one thing, compared to Dark Weapon having to figure out all these other things and blah blah blah, yeah. Gungir is weak though, attack wise, but incredibly powerful in other means. Anyways, over all, Dark Weapon is way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way more useful then Gungir, but of equal power. Making sense? |

| OFF: I see... Well, I accept this. Ex still takes no damage however... but the counter thing won't connect. ____________________________________________________________________ Gungir's attack was blocked by the Soul Shield... but the lost souls got confused at who to strike back and as such, struck nobody. Then, the shield disappeared... just in time for Ex to receive the incoming blast of energy. Ex was sent flying backward... but surprisingly, she didn't took much damage. Most of the damage had been converted into charged energy for Ex's next attack. The damage was also reduced becease that unstead of trying to resist the beam, she "rode" on the energy current, letting her send her backward. She then used the speed she had acquired by being sent backward to make a somewhat sharp 180 degrees turn, flying back toward the planet where the battle was taking place. Ex's Dark Weapon was glowing with energy... Ex *using telepathy*: "Nice shot... but you're not going anywhere with those kinds of attacks. You're supposed to be equal to me, don't you? Prove it! Do something flashy, like a supernova or something like that!" |

Odin jumped into the air, really quickly and paused as Ex and him met in mid air and brought his knee up to try and stop her. In the same instant, he did a heavy diagonal slash, and a spinning kick, followed by a quick discharge of energy at the newly located Ex. Odin: "Always hold a little back for later." |

| Ex: "Indeed... HOLD BACK! Heeheehee..." FLASH! Odin's strike passed right trought Ex!... maybe becease it was an image? It seemed that when she turned sharply, Ex used her powers to create a serie of images... As such, there were now 6 images and one Ex Lightheart somewhere in space, waiting for Odin... All of them were seemingly flying toward him, charging up power... But maybe there were more images? The speed at which Ex had been sent flying backward was huge and as such, maybe some images or even the real one was still too far to be seen without sight enhancements... |

| Odin landed back on the ground and looked up. He could feel them, even though they were far beyond sight. He took his sword and pointed it up again, the universe felt like it moved slightly closer, and another beam of energy exploded from the sword. This one was huge, and as the energy shot up, it pushed Odin against the ground, destroying the nice arena and turning a good part of the planet into a well sized crater. Odin: "Don't really want to go into space, I'm not very practiced there.... If it keeps up though, I have an idea." |

| The beam destroyed all 6 of the images... but soon enough, 2 more images became visible as they got close enough to the planet for Odin to see them. Ex *using telepathy*: "How many of them there are? Who knows... but if you do not strike the real me soon, you may be forced out of your element! I KNOW that you got the advantage as long as you're fighting on the ground... but in space, you've got slight problems, don't you? Anyway... this is slightly interesting... a little bit. Heeheehee... I wonder why most overpowered characters tend to have only half a brain? Heeheehee..." Ex hoped her taunt would work... altought she doubted it. Still, it was the truth. She was disappointed that Odin seemingly had difficulties dealing with such a basic illusion-based move. What would it have been if Ex had used Dreamscape or Reality Disruptor? It truly seemed as if Odin's perceptions was his weakness... |

| Odin: "All right, here goes!" Odin spn and pointed his sword right where Ex was. He had been able to trace where Ex's phycic voice had come from. He shot another huge beam into the sky, making the crater in the earth deeper. As this beam shot though, it seperated into about a thousand mini beams, each one locked on Ex, while not impossible to dodge, it'd be a hard challenge. Odin: "You should know the ultimate stratigies Ex. Allow your enemy to believe you have a weakness and it becomes their weakness!" |

| OFF: Ex's plan is revealed! The images were just there to fool Odin into wasting his time on them!... and she was entirely, completely successful! While the fake Exs were flying toward Odin, the real Ex went into the asteroid belt to prepare for her next attack... and now she unleash it! NOTE: Ex's images have no flaws. The only way to detect them is trought Illusion-piercing vision devices/spells or using a spell like Illusion Smasher... which is why Odin's attack failed. It was a very clever idea however. Should have worked against a foe that hadn't predicted such an attempt... Also, as you must have guessed, I exclude certain details from my posts to keep people from guessing what Ex is about to do. However, they're still written in a way that it's very possible for the attacks to happen. I don't know if I'm making sense here but I hope you understand... also, I note on a .txt pad what Ex's actual plans are and stick to them which means that Ex's plans CAN be foiled. This isn't a case of "I leave the post unclear so I may god-mod you". I want Ex to win... but trought skill, not cheap tricks. That's a way of writting I developped in order to win without breaking the rules and without making my posts underdevelopped or assuming things about the foe that could be incorrect (for exemple, I could post that your character saw something when he could have seen trought the illusion). Of course, I only use this style of writting in tournament fights or fights that I really want to win (I have clearly no intention of letting my character be defeated unless pushed into an impossible situation... and as such, I use the best strategy possible (well... I try to) while still keeping it in tone with Ex's personality and fighting style). ____________________________________________________________________ However... the beams as they separated, struck no one in particuliar. Those images were very well made! Indeed, Ex's voice was coming from everywhere at once! Ex *using telepathy*: "Heh! Is that all you got? A homing beam? Tsk! Tsk! I espected some more like an Illusion Smasher or a Image Begone spell!... anyway. I'll ditch the illusions and unleash my power at once!" All the 9 remaining Images disappeared... and Ex was nowhere to be seen. She was, in truth, far... VERY far from the planet. She was now in the asteroid belt and had used her powers to grab hold of them. Ex *using telepathy*: "You know what, Odin? You STINKS!... and as such, you will have a little shower!" Ex sent a full thousands of asteroids flying toward the planet. Several of them were "planet-killer" class and as such, unless Odin destroyed or deflected ALL of them, the planet on which he was standing would be no more. Preventing the planet-destroying meteor shower would be hard... but not impossible becease of the huge distance the asteroids had to travel trought to reach the planet. Becease of their immense speed... they would arrive in 2 posts or so. During this time, Ex was confident, hiding among the asteroids. Her plan had worked perfectly... soon, Odin would have no ground to stand on and lose his advantage! Ex prepared for the second phase of her plan...
