| Yeah, stuff sucks, blah blah blah. Whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Might be painful now, and breakups always are. But you will get over it, you will be stronger at the end of it all, etc. Going through a breakup myself, and they suck, but... I can think of worse things. | I don't know if the "friends" thing works. It hasn't worked in any of my past relationships. The pattern seems to be that things are ok, but awkward and you either... stop talking to each other entirely sometime, OR you decide to start dating other people and jealousy sets in. |

| relationships in school should never be taken serious at all. That's a little harsh but think about it--how many people after each school do you still hangout with? The number becomes smaller and smaller. Probability of relationships lasting is even worse. I don't mean to sound blunt but that is the truth of the matter. This is not to say that you shouldn't have relationships--they are one of the best experiences you could ever have. But moping for a school relationship is just pointless. So yeah, it sucks now--you will get over it, and you will eventually find someone many times better than her (unless you two get back together later on in life--then just forget that last statement...) |

| I don't care what anyone says... being dumped sucks, whether you're still in school or not. In my opinion, age doesn't change the pain you feel after being dumped or the love you feel for another person. The basic emotions are the same, don't let anyone belittle that. But it's all in how you react to it, which does change as you get older and (hopefully) mature. I really do hope your summer isn't ruined because of this and you can enjoy the rest of your break. Who knows what it will bring? |
