The GC may not be doing the best in the American market, but overall, it's doing fine. The Xbox is utterly crushed in Japan, at one point the Dreamcast was outselling it. What difference does it make if Nintendo is first or third, anyway? As long as they rake in a profit (and they will, they're pretty freakin' good at it) and continue to make great games, what does it matter? Leave the fools who think that the other consoles are 'better' because they're more expensive to go and buy them. Their loss. |

| Microsoft is falling in the console race. I think they will struggle to stay in it. It's Sony vs. Nintendo right now... Sony is ahead as of now. But mobile gaming I think Nintendo will have a big advantage in for a long time... and in the worst case scenario, they will still have that to turn to. | |||

This looks great! I loved the original Paper Mario and this is even better. Can't wait until it comes out! I also was browsing around and found the release date. October 18, 2004 It's sad, but better games take longer to make, so we'll just wait until it comes out. Also, I didn't find anything about the storyline except there was something about a door that hadn't been opened for 1,000 years. Weird... |

| EDIT: I apologise in advance for the off-topicness, but I need to have my last say in this little arguement so I can make my point clear.. Ok, so... A company that has, up until very recently, had absolutely no loss in profits for absolutely AGES... Suddenly, *somehow* makes such a massive blunder that they begin constantly loosing profits? You're joking, aren't you? As for GC selling being temporary... Well, duh. Every console sells for awhile and then stops selling. But the sales aren't suddenly going to dry up while PS2 and Xbox sales rise. That's rubbish. The PS2 lowered it's prices too, you know. Does that mean it's suddenly going to collapse in on itself? O.o'' May I note that the Xbox has had to cut it's prices an insane amount since release because people simply were not buying them at the rediculous asking prices. Microsoft still loses money on every Xbox sold, as far as I know. Nintendo knows how to handle money. The GC is not dead yet and is not even dying yet. Every one of the three consoles has just about reached or passed the halfway point in their lives, and now ever so slowly going on the way out (happened with the PS2 a little while ago, actually), but it's not going to suddenly collapse in a fit of fKitten Yiffer. None of them are. The GC has been a wonderful success so far, if you ask me. Excellent system, excellent games, plenty more third-party stuff than Nintendo has had in a long time. And to top it all, a ton of wonderful in-house titles, like this upcoming little gem... Nintendo is not going to go the way of Sega and the Dreamcast. Not for awhile yet, no sir. | SMWExpert, though I find it perfectly legible, your layout would be impossible to read if someone's browser didn't support CSS or your background didn't load. Put the font color in the style part of the div tag, and specify a background color that's nearly white (background image overides background color, but background color shows up before image loads). Anyway, this game looks wooty. I want to play it now... |

| Ok, I apologise for that. I just don't want to be thought of as a fanboy, maybe it's just because I used to use GameFAQs in the past and fanboy is quite an insult... I just don't want to be lumped into the same category as all the Nintendo fanboys going (I'm not going to do the AOL speak... >.>) 'Xbox sucks!! Nintendo rules all!! Final Fantasy games are stupid because you have to wait for them to move!!' and so on and so on... *Hand motions* I haven't tried to 'egg him on', however. For example, my 'laugh in your face' comment was intended in good humour. ^-^ Although I suppose that could be totally misinterpreted... Since that point I've just been trying to make it clear that I am not an unrealistic fanboy, s'all. Aaaanyway, lemmie think of something on-topic... I noticed quite a few enemies from the original Paper Mario are in this game. Spiked Goombas, Crazee Daizees and Fuzzies. Do you think that they're making the game based on similar things because the original game was not played by a large majority of people because it was released near the end of the N64's lifespan? | (Fyxe: no hard feeling ) By the way, did you guys like how the characters would "flip" when turning around, in the original Paper Mario ? (hence the "Paper" word in the title, I know )Not sure if I liked it myself, made the game look a bit "fake" to me, maybe... Wonder if they'll keep that in the sequel, I guess they will, else it wouldn't be called Paper Mario... But you never know. |
