Paper Mario... one of the great N64 games that I didn't buy  I reacted on that screenshot with bowser/koopa in...  This game hopefully will rock, I like the paper style graphics.  |

I am a Mario RPG MANIAC, I've mastered all three, but Paper Mario was my fav, and a sequel for the GCN would be HUGE!!! Now I've gotta get more info on this, should it be true... |

| I sort of thought that at first, but it all looks far too detailed to be some kind of cruel April Fool's joke... Someone would of spent FAR too much time making those if they're fake. EDIT: According to IGN and Planet Gamecube, it's official. Along with FIRE EMBLEM FOR THE GAMECUBE. Did I tell you I love Nintendo? | Looks good. Although... (most probably won't agree with me, whatever) Back when Paper Mario got released on N64, the N64 was already doing pretty bad, in my opinion. The PS was way ahead. It looks like the same goes for this one, releasing a great game not long before the GC dies. The Nintendo curse goes on... |

| Nah, people are rushing new systems too much. Besides, if it's one of the GCN's last, it means that people who don't have enough to buy the newer systems will still have something new to play. The GCN has lots of excellent games. Bringing in a new hardware doesn't make the older games suck. Paper Mario was subperb in my opinion, even if it was one of the 64's last. I can't wait to see how this game develops. Someone's got as keen an eye as I do! Think it might be Bowser's dead wife or something? That'd be pretty cool... OH! The reason why it looks like he's in a play is because it's a battle, methinks. In the first one, battles looked like they were on a stage...I love the addition of an AUDIENCE in this one, though... You can bet I'll be sniffing for information as it becomes available. So...The Nintendo curse? What's that supposed to mean? So, you're saying they release CRUDDY games at the end? Go out with a SPLUT and not a BANG? Meh. Playstation is getting all the good platformers, actually, which is pretty bad. But Nintendo has been dominating the portable market with the GBA, which has lots of excellent platformers and RPGs. Ya know what's going to happen soone ror later, right? There will only be ONE gaming producer-thingy. One piece of hardware, not three. Well, probably two, actually. A console and a portable. Hopefully, some of these gaming giants will realize that if they just band together and make ONE system, they can concentrate more on great games than competition with other hardwares, per say. | You're kidding, right? Playstation 2 hasn't got any platformers that I've noticed... Nothing noteworthy, anyway. The only major platformer I've heard of recently that's noteworthy would be Prince of Persia (if that counts), which is multi-platform. And, of course, there's Metroid Zero Mission which is pure class. Anyway, last I heard the Gamecube was going fine. It's not going downhill or anything, not yet. It's still roaring along. Wind Waker 2, Fire Emblem, Paper Mario 2, Metroid Prime 2 and so forth are yet to come. And Destiny, I totally thought she might be Bowser's ex(very ex, clearly)-wife, too. |

| Whatever you say, sales wise, the GC is getting slaughtered. It's only a matter of time before the X-Box rises clearly above it. (not even talking about the PS2) Not to mention Nintendo cutting down their profits by reducing the price of their console... That increased sales, that's true, but only for a temporary period. It was just the same with the Dreamcast. (plus a lot of people think the PS2 is better than the GC just because the GC is twice cheaper... lack of information) The GC is already dead to me. It's the second time Nintendo screws up... Will they ever be number one again ? :p Don't want to hijack this topic, so I'll leave it at that. |

Nintendo might have to live off of their dominance in mobile gaming, even though that's starting to get challenged too.  I too think the Gamecube will be dead soon... but meh. This game looks cool. Paper Mario was ok... but SMRPG was better. |
