| OOC: Hey, I've seen you around here a few times... It's always good to go at it with someone I've never fought before. So, I accept! Good luck in this battle. "You're right about that, kid," a voice nearby says. If one turned to look, one would notice the voice came from a tan-skinned man, maybe 20 years old in appearance, no shirt and black pants. He wears a single towel around his neck, as well as a strap around his upper torso with a special-looking crossbow strapped to the back. He also wears a several-slotted belt with many old-fashioned gadgets and trinkets equipped to it. This man is seen in a cross-legged position in the grass, eyes closed and almost completely motionless. There is a long pause, then without warning the man does a dynamic backflip and lands on his feet, a little farther away from Snipes. "Ahh, meditating after killing my quarry always helps. And to think I still gotta mend the parts of that quarry into a working item... But it's such a good day out, I'll wait on that. What's yer name, kid?" he askes calmly. This fellow looks like a fairly tough fighter, and he should be-- his occupation is Pheonix-hunting, and not many folks have the guts to take on a Pheonix every week... |

| "Tuxydon. I'm half-Oracle. But ya know, that don't mean much..." Tuxydon looks thoughtful. "I apologize, dude, but did you say wanted posters? Hmhm... Yes, an assassin would probably have that drawback of being wanted everywhere. You and I are a lot alike when you think about it... Always on the move, always in a hurry to bring our weapons to bear..." Tuxydon suddenly whips out a throwing knife from his belt. "Think fast!" He chucks it in Snipes's direction, and in midair it bursts into flame. The object was thrown perfectly to miss Snipes's head by 3 inches to his right and land smack-dab into the advertising poster on the wood pole behind him. Tuxydon did this to get a reaction from Snipes, because of many reasons; slightly bored, slightly arrogant, and slightly mischevous. |

| Standing there, Snipes lets the blade whiz past him, and stands there, almost looking bored "Nice shot, but I think you missed" Snipes quickly pulls up his new pistol, which he had just replaced after his last battle, and fires three shots, one to each side of Tuxydon's head, and one at the ground in front of him. |

| Tuxydon mimics Snipes's courage, and doesn't even flinch as the bullets hit their marks. There is a small pause, then Tuxydon speaks. "Yeah, I believe you missed as well. Man, I don't meet your type every day, ya know? How 'bout a spar? You seem a lithe opponent, and I've been kind of bored since I took out my last quarry." Tuxydon takes out the Shark's Maw. This is a dagger in a VERY weird shape-- the blade looks like a shark's open maw when viewed from the side, with one huge, curved scythe with a "tooth" type blade curved inward below the scythe. It looks deadly. "C'mon, I'm game! You can even get the first shot, man." |

Snipes angles his foot, and glides backwards across the courtyard using his foot repulsors. "Can you keep up?" Leaving the courtyard, Snipes suddenly accelerated, flying outside into a green field. Firing one shot directly at Tuxydon, he laughs slyly. |

| "Are you kidding? C'mon, then!" Tuxydon takes off after Snipes and whirls the Shark's Maw in front of him like a helicopter blade. The shot lands in the cycle and is deflected straight up. Tuxydon races to the green field outside the building and pulls out an L-shaped blade from his belt. On closer inpection, it appears to be a wood boomerang lined with razor-sharp metal. Upon reaching the field, he chucks the boomerang a little to Snipes's left side. The boomerang should curve slightly to intersect with Snipes by the time it reaches him, and if it misses it will continue to curve back towards Tuxydon. Tuxydon has always been proud of his hunter's spirit, shown clearly in battle. |

| Snipes notices the boomerang flying at him, then fires the repulsors and flips over the bommerang. Knocking it downwards by tapping it's flat side, sabotaging it's flight and preventing it from returning to tuxydon, Snipes whips out his sword and runs at Tuxydon smiling, before deftly bringing his sword around and engaging him ooc: I based that on real-life physics |

| OOC: Cool, but I don't know what you mean by "repulsors". Tuxydon runs at Snipes as well, and brings the Shark's Maw in front of him, holding it lightly as to swing it agiley if need be. As Snipes's sword comes within range, Tuxydon grips the knife more firmly and thrusts it into the blade. It is timed and aimed to wedge the sword into the maw part of the knife, getting it stuck, before Tuxydon twists the knife sharply to yank the jammed sword out of Snipes's hands (if it got caught in the first place) and throw it behind Tuxydon. Tuxydon keeps his free hand by a slot in his belt unnoticably, preparing to pull out a gadget... |

| ooc: Repulsors are like jets, except they only emit a faint blue glow close to them, like a force shield. Also, my sword is a plasma blade, but since I haven't had 6 turns to charge it, it hasn't fully charged and cannot disintegrate your knife. It loses power after 9 turns. Snipes, having lost his blade temporarily, fires backwards and upwards, dodging any attacks tuxydon might have made. Pulling out his pistol, he changes mode and fires randomly at Tuxydon and the ground in front of him. Not noticing Tuxydon's other hand, Snipes pulls out a Plasma grenade, and throws it at Tuxydon, hoping it will stick to him until it can explode. "Ow... That one kinked my wrist..." ooc: Pistol now in reflective shot mode. 5 turns until blade charges. |

| OOC: Man, your gadgets are tight, but I wish I knew what some of your terms meant. Reflective-shot mode? (Also, the Shark's Maw is blessed with a perculiar magic, and if broken it can be regenerated after a while. Just so you know.) Tuxydon whips out a grenade of his own. It's a small sphere made of asp skin and dragon whiskers. He chucks it straight at the Plasma grenade. Upon contact with each-other, the two projectiles should both explode. Tuxydon's grenade, the Chaos Gadget, upon combustion will release an arrowhead of piercing Earth, a sonicboom of Air and a superheated bolt of Plasma, aimed in Snipes's general direction. Tuxydon spins the Shark's Maw in front of him like a propellor after throwing the Chaos Gadget, doing his best to reflect any weapon fire coming his way from the bombs burst. |

| ooc: Yeah, but that is about all of them. Also, the plasma grenade would explode from the force of an explosion, but if simply touched, it wouldn't. Note that if you touch the grenade, you WILL be burned. Be careful. Reflective-shot mode means that the shot will bounce off of any untargeted material. Snipes saw the gadget land near him, and accelerated away from it. when his grenade exploded, the gadget spot several unknown projectiles at him. firing his gun, he aimed at several targets, aiming them to bounce off and hit tuzydon from several angles. Switching to power shot mode, he fired three mroe shots at tuxydon. ooc: Power mode means no bounce, but a more powerful shot. 4 turns until blade charges. the shots are coming from all around you, as well as behind. |

| Tuxydon is easily able to reflect some of the shots, but he is skiffed from behind a few times. From then on he is more aware of his surroundings and is able to twist his body a few times to block them all. The only exception is one of the Power Shots in front, which gets him on the arm. "Argh! So you're in the air now... Hah! Pheonix fly better than you." Tuxydon sheaths the Shark's Maw and brings out the crossbow from his back. He aims it and pulls the trigger. Instantly, in a tenth of a second's time, an ultra-sharp ice crystal made of sacred, nevermelting ice, forms in the crossbow and is flung out. It's aimed perfectly for Snipes's torso, fire won't melt it and wind or force wouldn't alter it's direction (unless it was a heavy object). (Though it's an ice crystal, it doesn't do ice damage and it doesn't freeze things; it's like being hit with an arrow.) Tuxydon's aiming is always perfect; it has to be if he were to have any success at all in the Pheonix-hunting business. |

OOC: Oooooh, you and your countdown!  Tuxydon continues to aim, locked on to Snipes's position, and when Snipes dives to get his sword, thereby getting much closer to where Tuxydon is standing, Tuxydon fires again aimed at Snipes's right shoulder. Since this is close-range, the ice-razor could seriously pierce any medium or light armor covering it's target, or if no armor it could even penetrate part of the muscle, which would not only be painful but disabling. But relentlessness is the way of the hunter, and Tuxydon knows his path. OOC: And I must mention, you put up a very good fight.  |

| ooc: frug you! Now I'm going to be invaded by an ice spear, and I happen to be a reploid! (Reploids are robots from the megaman games; megaman is one) Taking the hit, Snipes flinched in pain and fell across his sword, rolling a few meters on the ground. Not moving, he thinks internally "Activate autorepair systems A, B, C. Reroute backup reactor cores 34, 35, 28 output to foot repulsors.". Answered only be diminishing pain in his arm and a chime in his earpiece, He slowly got up while holding his arm, before preparing for Tuxydon to attack. "Damn you..." ooc: 2 turns until blade charges. Unknown to Tuxydon, I have a large buildup of energy running to my repulsors. when tuxydon makes a move at me, I'm going to blast up into the air at about a supersonic speed. I'll have some shitty brakes though. |

| ooc: ...not immediately, but computer's don't work too well when their central power cores get destroyed, right? I beleive Zero from The megaman series knows that fact intimately, having been blown up several times. If it hits me, I will be a lot weaker, though. Firing his repulors, Snipes flies into the air, while the shots harmlessly glances off a rock into the grass. Pulling out his second grenade, he lets it fall towards the ground. Pulling out his pistol, he then fires several shots around tuxydon in power mode. "ouch... This is gonna hurt if i'm not careful. Not like I wanted mercy anyways." ooc:1 turn before grenade hits ground, last turn before blade charges. Snipes' right arm is undr repair, 3 turns until it is fixed. The sword has begun hovering a few inches off the ground. |

| OOC: Don't forget, HP restoration isn't allowed. Repair is fine, but... yeah. In a way that is similar to an elite ninja, Tuxydon does a quick, small backflip and kicks off, propelling himself high into the air to leap over the shots. "Time for a Psi trick..." As he reaches the height of his jump, he half-flips to position himself rightside-up in midair, then... "Chaos Psibeam!" (echo effects) ...he holds his hands together, brings them apart quickly, drawing a purplish-black arc of energy in front of him. The arc immediately takes off and homes in on Snipes at a good speed. Without any means of defense it would hit for good Darkness/Psychic damage. Tuxydon falls back to earth, lands at a crouch on his feet, and notices the levitating sword behind him... "Uh, that ain't right!" He prepares for the worst... |
