Try this... Use Babelfish translation on the Chinese Mario 64 site: http://www.ique.com/game_mario.htm http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Translate from Chinese (Simplified) to English. Super Horsepower Europe! |

Hehe. Internet translators are fun to screw with. Especially with languages Chinese and Japanese where one letter can mean a word. That's a pretty damn bad translation though. Also random fun is typing your name in Japanese Kanji and seeing what it means, though it requires Japanese support and knowledge of Katakana... Mine means 'Picture Village 9' apparently. (Simple enough to do with WinXP: Type your name in Japanese with Conversion Mode set to Names, and run it through a translator. If you can read Katakana you can have said translator convert your name too, which they're generally good enough at.) Rofl. 'HyperHacker' comes out 'Ash paa ignition sub-' (the 'paa' is letters that didn't get Kanji-ized). Though I could swear that 火 meant fire. |

I came into this thread thinking 'Super Horsepower Europe' was another mental flash movie of yours.. Maybe an idea for some day.. But yeah, translation is fun. Try translating something from English to Japanese, and then back again (Japanese to English). Here's an example from the fifth Harry Potter book: Original: Dumbledore heaved a great sigh and continued, "Alastor Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, Kingsley Shacklebolt and Remus Lupin were at Headquarters when he made contact. All agreed to go to your aid at once." Engrish-ified: When Dumbledore raises large sigh, ", Nymphadora Tonks ill humor, Alastor Kingsley Shacklebolt continues, he contacts, Lupin of Remus was in the headquarters. Everything agreed to going to your help directly. " |

Yeah, I figured either kin or kimu (I went with the latter). Not very experienced, but enough to get that far. | |||

Pachinko is a sort of a game, not a sound effect, though but at least you knew the first one |
