Did your username have your current e-mail in it? You can have an admin e-mail it the password through that way. Or they can check the IP on Maxtwo and Maxtwo2. As for your suggestion, that doesn't sound bad. An e-mail is required for registration after all, sending the pass shouldn't be so hard. |

Every normal board has a password retreival function, why doesn't this one have one?! And yes, I took think it's more of your own responcibility to keep a hold of your passwords; but let's face it, people are stupid and do forget them. |

Hell, I keep mine all written down but still tend to forget them sometimes (for some reason they just won't be there ). Anyway, since the passwords are encrypted, there's no way to determine what it was (unless you have a spare computer and a few weeks to crack it), but an admin can change it for you. (A 'reset password' function shouldn't be too hard to do, though; just change the password to something random and email it to them.)

It would also probably be best to require members to retype their password, when making and changing it.

Either way.. Yeah well, Iam not sure which email I used to register, but if its the one I think, then thats a bad idea, it got hacked. But that IP checking is a good idea, since Iam still the only argentinian around here . Oh and I already did pm ace but still no answer |
