Okay, so uh, I was looking at the birthdays for today [June 1st: 3:45 am] y'know in that little bar thing. and for some reason, it's still displaying Yesterday's [May 31st] birthday. I noticed that a few other days as well, I take it that display isn't based on your time but the server's time? [Just curious. I still love you all]

A similar question. Check out the 'edited on' date as compared to the 'posted on' date in this post..

Rushed fixes for unexpected timezone changes on the server, that's pretty much it

It's 8 hours off because the last timezone change was GMT to PST, other things might be 5 hours off instead (GMT to EST)

And as of matter of fact, a few peoples birthday got changed to a day earlier. I just changed that manually, but many thought it was my birthday on fifth june.

Not the only one who had that problem happen, it did happen to Waddler-D.
