Mario is fat but that doesn't stop him being strong. And RY you only say sonic is a skinny because compared to mario anyone is.

Well, I've been a huge fan of Mario ever since I first played SMB1 at age three. The graphics may look "childish" in some games (e.g., Yoshi's Island), but that doesn't make the games any less fun.

I haven't played Sonic, so I can't give an opinion of it.

I ain't got nothin against nintendo i like the final fantasy series for the snes and i own a ds. It's just i dislike Mario games. In my eyes the enemies are kiddie and a bit weird. I admit some of the early sonic games are a bit easy but after sonic 2 i think they start to improve quite a bit.

And little robots that have animals captured in them isn't kiddie?

Anyways, I like them both. Kiddie or not, it doesn't matter since it's not degrading the game or whatever, unlike what some people think apparently.

I'm mainly reffering to the Sonic games where you can hold Down and charge up. No one can avoid the obstacles at that speed.

I'm not a big fan of platform games but if i had to choose i'd say sonic and thats only because i used to watch the TV show wen i was younger.

This is a fairly lame argument, but so many people feel this way.. "Nintendo is kiddy I won't try anything loller." It's annoying. Maturity or graphics or special effects can all be nice, but for me, I only care about whether or not a game is fun.

Sonic was ok till he hit the gamecube. All that stupied crap got on my nerves...Mario does not barely use his voice...he can't get your nerves!
