Yeah, yeah. I know it is the next N-Gage/Zodiac, but god damn. THIS THING IS COOL. Has anyone else seen the little brute? |

I thought the Zodiac was cool. I did.... However, the problem I see with the Gizmondo is that they send ads to your unit no matter what you're doing. Bleh. |

So then...it is sort of like Internet Explorer then I never liked N-Gage types of systems. I usualy don't play games with my phone, just...use it for a phone (that must be silly. No one uses the phone for that! (edited by Yoronosuku on 05-25-05 03:12 PM) |

A rhythm action game called Johnny Whatever, where you stick it to the man via punk music rock outs. Also, it has ports of SSX and other things, which look much like their console counterparts. |

...OK, that's one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. It's going to cost you money for the console/phone, of course, but even MORE to remove the ads? Oy. It's going to be a sad, sad day when we have a MMORPG that has around 600 billboards for various products in the town square. We're probably close to that point anyways. |

Wouldn't it be impossible for them to send you ads if you simply did not stick a SIM card in there? I mean, I'd rather use a mobile phone to text anyone any day... | |||

Originally posted by ColleenYou have it backwards. The ads are there to make it cheaper for the user. Without ads, people would be required to pay the more expensive amount; people who want to save money can watch 2 ads or so a day (I think that's right, anyway) which are supposed to be related to your interests. I think. It's been a while since I've read about the Gizmondo on gamesindustry.biz. |
