| A shadow appeared on a marble floor in the center of a huge arena. This time the arena seemed different, more "set in stone" than any other times. Shadow: "Ok, now, this is going to be a little different as we near the end of the tournament. Each fighter will enter from a side of the arena." The shadow paused as lights blared up, reveling two entrances. Shadow: "Now, while the arena is now made of marble," The marble floors shined brightly from a recent coat of wax. Shadow: "this shiny exterior is actually very changalbe. The arena is completely adaptable, so just hope you wind up with a good one." The shadow disappeared, and the the match was ready for the fighters to start their intros. OoC The fighters control the arena, I'm just giving an actual back story to it. |

| The figure of Kyle, dressed in his signature white karate robe and wearing a crimson band set unevenly aronud his head, stepped through the door into the marble arena eagerly. Two strange, floating metal discs followed him in. Kyle: Finally! The Sim Battle Tournament! ...Now where's my opponent? Kyle looked around the area and saw no sign of Legault. Kyle: Bah, well, anything good's worth waiting for...I think. Let's just not hope it's that long of a wait! Kyle's legs floated up off of the ground and went out straight, and his arms crossed behind his head. Kyle hovered comfortably in the air until Legualt arrived. |

| Without Xzavien even entering in, the marble tiles on the floor around Kyle lifted up and began swirling around him. The tiles were now going so fast that they could almost not be seen. However the wind from them was almost creating a tornado. It was now time for Xzavien to walk in. He was wearing his usual black and brown robe that flowed to the ground concealing his feet, he had at his side a small handle that looked as though it had a button on it of some kind that could activate its blade, however it didn't look as though it could cut through metal. His eyes were a red on the inside layer and then a layer of black with yellow slice patterns going into his iris. His dark brown hair was flowing slightly in front of his eyes and it gave them a very sinister look that would make most people cower in fear. Xzavien walked right into the arena and thought to himself, " I can change this to whatever I want? Well that should be pretty interesting. But for now I will just leave it." Xzavien kept walking until he was no more than twenty feet away when he put up his right hand and began raising it. As he raised it the tiles around Kyle raised up and they were now out of the way of hitting him. At the moment when they were five feet above Kyle, Xzavien closed his hand and the tiles came crashing together. "Hello there, you must be my opponent. You look as though you are a ninja of some sort. This should be a great battle and best of luck to you. I am sure that you will need it." |

| Kyle frowned for a moment, mad at himself for not bothering to make a dramatic entrance like Xzavien. The frown was soon replaced with a smug grin. Kyle (aside): Neat trick. Kyle (aloud): Best of luck? Who needs luck when you have skill? All right then, let's start this shindig. Here I come! Kyle wasted no time. He unsheathed his katana and held it defensively, ready to make a counter attack if need be. Meanwhile, the two floating discs at his side activated. In the blink of an eye, they were at Xzavien's side, repeatedly flinging themselves at him, rebounding to his new position every time they were dodged. The discs would deal medium damage. Kyle: I'm not really a ninja, I'm more of a mage, I guess...my class is an unusual one. But what are you? A wizard? Kyle liked to converse during battle...he thought it seemed cool. |

| "I am no mage or wizard. I am a Sith Lord!" Xzavien looked at the disks that were coming without even thinking his hand went up and a transparent force explosion shot from his hand and grabbed the disks stopping them in their tracks. "You have some interesting power over those disks did you learn that from a master or did you teach yourself?" Xzavien lowered his left hand and allowed the sleeve of his tunic went down concealing his hand. Xzavien crouched down and a force spear began growning around him making him look as though he was inside a glass sphere. At that moment the arena began changing and the marble waxed floor was now becoming platforms about 8'x8' somehow elevated over the lava pits below. Above there were stalactites hanging from the ceiling, which was hanging easily five stories above them. in between the platforms about every five or so, were little floaring orbs that looked as though they were exlposive. "Force jump" Xzavien now sprung up into the air being followed by a force trail. he shot easily up about thirty feet and did a flip, or two, and pulled out his lightsaber and engaged the button on it. Instantly a swooshing sound was made by the heat of the blade cutting through the air particles, and extending to its full lenght of about three feet. It was a dark red blade that was customary to Sith Lord. Xzavien put it out in front and brought it up above his head. When he was about to land next to Kyle he began bringing it down in a downward slash. He was coming down with perfect form that made him look almost majestic in the air. |

| Kyle knew that this battle was going to be a true spectacle - two fighters who control force! He had always hoped for a battle like this, but he didn't expect it to happen so soon, or even at all. Being a gravity mage, Kyle's powers were probably just like Xzavien's, with slight variations. As such, some tricks with the force might not affect Kyle as much... Kyle: I was born with these powers, and since then I've educated myself about them. I haven't seen too many people who share my talents...until now! The arena changed around Kyle, and he was glad he didn't have to make up a scene. The heights did not intimidate him. Kyle waited until Xzavien had his weapon right above him, ready to pull out from the leap, until he generated a spherical force field around himself. Xzavien was sure to rebound from contact with the indestructable thing, and Kyle dispelled the force field so he could attack while Xzavien was (hopefully) off balance. He shot out his palm, and from it came an invisible string of gravity that made its way quickly toward Xzavien's torso. Getting hit by it was about the equivalent of getting hit with a bunch of bricks swung in a pillowcase...it would hurt. |

| "I am almost there." Seconds before Xzavien got there a force field went up and totally caught him off guard. Xzavien went right into and came down with his slash and crashed into the shield. The shield bent a little bit but it did not give as Xzavien had hoped. Instead it bounced him up into the air and sent him flying backwards in a backflip that would have ended horribly if Xzavien hadn't used force to stabalize his landing. Xzavien landed on one of the platforms that was about twenty feet away from Kyle. When he landed he looked up only to see a force beam coming at him. He had to act quickly for if not he would fall into the trap that seemed to be forming around him. With his lightsaber still active Xzavien raised it up vertically in front of his chest and deflected the force beam right back, but it didn't stay on course back to Kyle instead it shot up and to the left. From the inpact with the force beam to his lightsaber Xzavien's hand weakened only a little, but he simply raised his hand back into a defensive place. Xzavien raised his left hand and pushed forward with a force beam of his own. It shot from his hand like a missle being fired from a ship. It went out in a missle shaped beam. This was probably the weakest attack that Xzavien had, but he only used to try and make Kyle get off balance. Xzavien was now jumping from platform to platform slowly getting back to Kyle. When he finally got into range again, Xzavien raised the lightsaber above his head again and readied for a downward slash. Xzavien jumped up into the air again trying to get the upper angle on Kyle again. | Ugh, sorry for the late reply...net problems. --- As Xzavien made his counter, three lizards walked into the stands, one red, one black, and one green. They each chose a seat in the front row so that they could spectate. The smallest one, the red one, spoke to the green one. Spaky: Finally! Here we are, at the Sim Battle Tournament! Who are the fighters here? Speeky: Eh, the roster says two guys named Xzavien and Kyle. Ooh, look, that guy has a lightsaber! The black one shook in his seat. Spiky: It's a red one...doesn't that mean he's a bad guy? Spaky: He probably fights good though! WHOO! Go go! Speeky: Quiet down, you'll annoy them... Back in the arena, Kyle felt the projectile Xzavien shot coming at him, and he dodged it by stepping to side. This motion brought him to the edge of his small platform, and he was slightly thrown off balance, but Kyle acted like he was more off balance than he truly was. His arms pinwheeled through the air above the long fall to the lava below as he pretended to try to regain his footing. Kyle waited until Xzavien came again with his lightsaber to pull himself back up. In all of the faking, though, he actually DID manage to lose his balance! Kyle barely slipped back onto the platform in time to pull out his katana to block Xzavien's lightsaber...but his luck stopped there. His katana was chopped in half, unable to parry pure energy! Kyle stood nervously in front of Xzavien, holding a mere stub of a broken blade. Kyle: Uh...whoops. Heh. He flipped backward to get out of range, landing on a square just next to the one Xzavien was standing on. His discs, however, remained where they were, and each began taking turns to fling themselves at Xzavien! The discs would keep coming at him if he moved, and would rebound to try to hit him again if he dodged them. The discs were trying to keep Xzavien away from Kyle as he charged a spell. |

| OOC: I downgraded my lightsaber so it wouldn't cut through weapons but still flesh and armor... "I hate having spectators who are creatures." After finishing the downward slash, Xzavien stood and watched as Kyle jumped away in fear. He knew that the could do some real damage right now since Kyle was fleeing, but instead simply decided to take another matter into his own hands. Xzavien raised up his left hand toward the lizards in the audience. "If you are going to be watching in a lava pit you might as well have some 'fun." Xzavien now pulled them into the arena by grasping them with force energy and flung them straight at the fleeing Kyle. "Are you having fun yet?" Xzavien was just about to rush after Kyle when the disks came back that had pestered him before. He moved to the left they followed and struck him. He moved to the right, they followed and struck him. Finally he just got so agrivated that he put his lighsaber down at his side and raised both of his arms up flexing the bicep muscles. "That is enough!" His hands were now almost glowing and the force energy around him could now be seen. The energy itself was now becoming light and creating heat and electricity right there in his hands. It slowly became more and more powerful until it was now almost like an aura around him. The disks were still striking, but they were no longer having any effect upon him. With a violent scream the energy that was building up around him was now shooting out in all directions. It started shocking the disks and thus grabbed them with an electrical force. "Say goodbye to your toys." Xzavien lowered his arms downward with a quick swiping move and cast the disks into the lava below. "Now that that is over with it is time for you." The lightning was now gone and the eyes of Xzavien were now almost glowing with anger. They glowed in a shade of red that was almost blood-like. Xzavien now turned toward the now charging Kyle and an evil grin came upon his face. "Magic huh? That should be fun, if you can ever finish your spell." Xzavien now was jumping towards Kyle with great rates of speed. Using the force energy around him to allow him to almost float through air. With each platform that Xzavien jumped to his speed quickened. Xzavien was now on the platform in front of Kyle. Sensing that he was about to do something that could hurt him dearly, Xzavien jumped up into the air and grabbed his lighsaber that was at his side. At the apex of his jump he raised his right hand and flipped the switch activating the red blade of energy. Xzavien was now right above Kyle and was coming down fast with his downward slash. |

| The Lizard Bros. were less than pleased at being lifted and tossed into the arena. Speeky: You know, we aren't supposed to interact the the combatants...but I figured that meant that they couldn't interact with us! Kyle didn't even see the three fly by him, narrowly missing, as he pulled out of his backflip and landed on the platform. Spaky, Spiky, and Speeky landed safely in the seats on the opposite side of the arena, and continued to spectate the match. They hardly seemed to care about what just happened to them. Kyle had finished his spell by the time Xzavien used the lightning to cast them into the lava...only what Xzavien didn't know was that nothing could destroy the powerful gravity magic that kept them assembled. Kyle secretly floated them to the edges of his platform, out of sight of Xzavien, but ready for use. As Xzavien reached the peak of his jump above Kyle and flipped the switch on his lightsaber, Kyle released the spell. The gravity around Xzavien increased, and if he was caught in the magical field, his weight would be increased twofold! It would last for several minutes, too. This would make any movement a real pain, especially jumping, giving him a real disadvantage in this kind of an arena. Kyle stepped off of the platform and continued floating in the air as Xzavien came down, wisely because if the spell did work, downward attacks of his would have more power. Kyle: How do you like that spell? I'd suggest you take things easy for the next few minutes, increased gravity can really wear you down! Kyle, still in the air, brought both of his arms out suddenly, aimed at Xzavien. The hidden discs flew out from their hiding spot and zoomed at Xzavien with incredible strength! | "Darn I didn't expect him to charge that fast." As planned Xzavien clicked on the lightsaber in the air and began to come down on Kyle. However instead of raising the lightsaber into the air, he raised it to his chest and began channeling force to it. A force sphere could now be seen growing at the lightsaber, Xzavien was still coming down on Kyle and now the magic attack was emmiting from him. The sphere was growing at great rates of speed and was now all the way around him. "Force Shield." The gravity attack that was shot at Xzavien was now right on him. He was still coming down, but now the shield was shooting outwards in a reflective way. The gravity spell hit the shield and bounced back straight towards Kyle, but it also became weeker since the shield drained some of the energy from it and fed it to the shield. Xzavien now landed on the platform suspecting a trap. He raised his lightsaber from in front of his chest and brought it out in front. He was now holding it with both hands and was pointing the tip of it to Kyle. At that moment the two disks that Xzavien thought he had destroyed flew from behind Kyle and came right at him at great speeds. "You two again huh. Damn, you those things never die do they." They were now right on Xzavien and began there attack as they had done before, but this time Xzavien brought his lightsaber up in defense. The first one flew right for Xzavien's head and nearly made but the lightsaber was brought up in defense. The lightsaber cut right through the first disk and the halves went around Xzavien's face and head. The second disk was now coming and it was going for his chest. Xzavien turned his blade upside down and slashed it as it came close. "Now for you gravity mage." Xzavien brought his lighsaber forward pointing it directly at Kyle and bent his arm bringing it back to his side. Xzavien then lunged forward at Kyle who was only five feet away, and stabbed at him with his lightsaber. Not knowing if it hit or not, Xzavien brought it back and stepped closer swinging the lightsaber in the air once before going for a slice at Kyle chest. "Bow before the darkside of the force." |

| OOC, the discs are indestructable unless the magic seal on each of them is broken. And trust me, you don't want that to happen. --- When the spell Kyle created around Xzavien was deflected and began its path toward him, it caught Kyle straight in the chest. Though the spell was weakened, it still had its effect, and Kyle plummeted from the air he was floating down the lava below! Kyle: Shizah! What's the counter to this crazy spell?! He panicked a bit, but managed to dispell the curse a few feet from contact with the lava with a special motion of his arms, and flew to a safer position higher up. Kyle returned to see Xzavien successfully block each disc and send them away. Again, Kyle was struck, this time by Xzavien's lightsaber. As some fortunate coincidence for the mage, he managed to avoid the attack enough to merely get singed, not seriously wounded. Still, the attack dealt some good damage to him. Kyle: Gah! That thing hurts, man! He seemed to be getting overwhelmed, and brought his attack about with less speed than he would have liked. The discs floated to his sides, and suddenly sprouted blades from the middle, increasing their length to four feet! Still under Kyle's control, these things were a hundred times deadlier than they were without the blades. Kyle: Watch this, I've been practicing it for weeks. You'll be finished in two moves! Suddenly, a blue fireball rocketed from some unseen point in the arena, and hit Kyle right in the back of the head! He spun forward in mid air, and the discs flew around wildly. Kyle was stunned and wide open for the time, not even sure what it was that hit him. Spiky: Whoah, what was that thing? Some kind of ice-ball? Speeky: Huh, what? I didn't see anything... |

| "What tha?" Xzavien, not knowing what to think since there were no other people in the place, had to think about what his next move would be. "I know, this is one of your spells you being hit was just a decoy. Nevertheless I have a chance to defeat you, but should I?" Xzavien raised his lighsaber up and then slashed at Kyle who was laying on the ground in front of him. Thinking it was a trap, Xzavien jumped backwards after the attack and kept jumping until his back was directly to a wall in the volcano. Knowing that there was nothing behind him and that if an ice attack was used from far enough away that it would melt before getting to him, Xzavien stood there with his lighsaber ready for a block or an attack. |

| Kyle, stunned at the time, failed to avoid Xzavien's lightasaber attack, but the burn woke him up. Kyle: What? Who did that? Felt kinda like fire...but different... He looked around and saw nothing. Kyle did not perform the spell himself as a trick - it came from someone else. Slightly concerned, and now more alert, he readied himself to attack Xzavien again. Kyle: Ha, he's at range...perfect. He stood back as the two discs flew at Xzavien, now with their blades drawn, and continued their familiar routine of homing into him. |

| With the distance in between Xzavien and the disks, Xzavien had plenty of time to counter. Xzavien crouched down and force energy began to grow around him. almost forming a sphere. while the disks were still two platforms away, Xzavien sprung up into the air and put his left hand towards the disks. The moment when the disks went up a force "hand" went down and grabbed both of the disks and sped them up making them keep going forward. The disks were traveling now at high speeds heading directly towards the wall with explosives on it. As Xzavien swung his arm downward and back he flung himself forward in the air using the disks to propell him towards Kyle. "Here I come." The disk now hit the bombs and became lodged very deeply in the wall to were they could barely be visable from the side. While Xzavien was still flying forward in the air towards Kyle, he pulled up his lightsaber and grabbed it with the other hand and had it right behind his head. "I have a bad feeling about this move." Xzavien was now right on top of Kyle and he began to swing his lightsaber downwards towards the still partially dazed Kyle. Meanwhile the disks still locked on to Xzavien began pulling themselves out of the wall and redirecting there path straight into the falling Xzavien's back. |

| Kyle jumped - over jumped - out of the way of Xzavien's lightsaber, and crashed into one of the explosive floating orbs! The impact rocketed Kyle across the arena, and he once again caught himself just before he fell into the lava. At about the time the discs made their comback to Xzavien, Kyle leveled himself with his competitor again. Kyle: Ugh, I need to stay focused. I was doin' good before... He looked back at one of the explosive balls he hit, then slapped his forehead with a laugh. Kyle: Duh! Why didn't I think of this before? The discs stopped pestering Xzavien and returned to Kyle's side again. However, new weapons soon found their way to Kyle as well - five explosive balls floated to him from their places in the arena and circled him as well! Kyle was sure to keep them distanced from himself, unless one went off somehow. While still floating about halfway across the arena, Kyle launched the explosives at Xzavien, one by one! --- Spiky shook excitedly in his seat. Spiky: Ooh, this is the part of the fight where things start getting intense! Spaky: Are you actually enyjoying this? Spiky: You know, I think I might...am I well? |

| Xzavien was confused at what had just happened he had just felt the disks fly over him and then followed the disks with his eyes and watched the disks float at Kyle's side again. "Excellent, I have you right were I want you." Xzavien was jumping from platform to platform until he was three platforms away from Kyle. At that moment the new weapons of Kyle began circling around him and then one shot forward straight for Xzavien. "Crap! I was hoping you wouldn't figure out to use them against me." Xzavien saw the first explosive orb begin coming at him and all he could do was jump to a different platform to dodge. Xzavien was using force to stablize himself after each new jump he made. "I have to figure a way to counter this." After Xzavien had dodged to of the explosive orbs an idea came to him. The idea was to blow up the orbs that were circling around Kyle. After dodging a third explosive orb, Xzavien reached behind himself with his left hand and grabbed two of the explosive orbs that were on the wall behind them. Xzavien sent them right at himself and then jumped at the last minute speeding up the orbs and sending them right at the other two orbs that were floating around Kyle. By the time that the two explosives orbs that Xzavien had sent to Kyle there was only one now circling Kyle. So Xzavien sent one of the orbs directly at Kyle and the other one he planned to blow up right in front of Kyle, hopefully blinding him for a split second. "Now is my chance." Not knowing if the orbs hit or not Xzavien began jumping and running towards Kyle and drew his lightsaber out in front again. Xzavien was now at the platform right next to Kyle, to the left, and he jumped up and rose his lightsaber above his head and grasped it with both hands. Once Xzavien got right above Kyle he came down swinging the blade downward and hopefully striking Kyle and maybe injuring him. "Here I come you better be ready. It would be a shame if you died now." |

| Kyle had been spinning the orbs around himself very fast, for added strength. As such, both of the orbs that Xzavien threw hit Kyle's final one, and both were set off at a safe distance from him. Still, the explosion blinded Kyle. Xzavien's downward move would have gone undetected by Kyle, but the mage already had Xzavien's battle strategy figured out. He instinctively moved to the side, avoiding harm. His temporary blindness went away. Kyle: Don't worry, I'm not going to die any time soon. And I'm definitely not going to lose! C'mon, I'm just getting started! Kyle was beginning to realize the potential that the battleground actually had. Kyle landed on a platform two squares away from Xzavien, and then waved his arms around in a circle, aimed sort of downwards, at the lava. Under Kyle's control, the lava below him swirled up, forming a vortex around his platform! The lava spun around the square for a quarter of a minute. Kyle's body was mostly blocked out of sight, but he allowed a small hole to form in front of his head. Kyle: Ooh, this stuff's hot, and I would NOT want to touch it. But you could still quit any time you want!!! He aimed his arms forward, and the lava flew at Xzavien in two streams - one on the left of him, and one on the right! |

| "Nice trick but you have left one "Loop hole." Xzavien instinctively new what to do and waited for his chance. The lava was now almost all the way around Kyle and Xzavien saw the whole. "Perfect!" Xzavien with the lightsaber still in his right hand and activated, threw it straight at the lava and through the hole right in front of Kyle's face. "It is about to get a whole lot hotter in there." In the fifteen seconds that the lava was around Kyle, Xzavien had his lightsaber in there and was slashing and slashing at the charging Mage. "I think you have had enough." Xzavien pulled his lightsaber back through the whole and deactivated it at his side. "Ahh, and now for your lava." Xzavien crouced down to the ground and put his hands on the platform that he was standing on. force energy began growing around him and so did the lava. Xzavien was now surrounded by lava but he didn't worry because these heats were nothing compared to waiting for the two crystals in his lightsaber were made. As was tradition for any force user to wait for their crstals to be forged from the pits of a volcano. Xzavien was now ready for Kyle's next move. "Bring it on!!!" |

| Kyle: Again, I saw that coming! Kyle was hoping that Xzavien would see the hole in the lava shield as a weakness, and had one of his discs (blades drawn) position right to the side of it, out of sight. As soon as Xzavien's hand came through, the disc countered every move, and returned the attack by swiping itself at his arm. Of course, we don't know if Xzavien drew his hand out quick enough to avoid harm. Kyle: You've got good instincts, and I know I probably would have made the same move as you, but you have to watch out for feints too. They'll getcha... The mage watched in somewhat of an awe as the lava also formed around Xzavien. He also tried to formulate a plan in his head, though he was running out of good tricks to pull. Suddenly, he remembered the attack he had planned earlier. Kyle: Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I've only used this once, and I loved the results. You probably won't, though. I'm going to wrap this up right now!!! His discs swirled around him again at super fast speeds while he charged another spell, but fate would have things another way...as Kyle focused on his target, another blue fireball struck him in the chest! Two of them were thrown at him, but the protective shield the discs formed cut one off. His concentration was broken, and he turned angrily toward the side of the arena, where he suspected the attack came from. There was a sudden flash, faster than an eye could blink, and then Kyle was facedown on his square, stunned once more! Someone didn't want him to win this battle... Kyle: Ugh...don't hold back now, Sith Lord, I'll be a-ight |
