I simply don't know what to say now. This movie tied the two trilogies together in a fantastic way, and the movie itself was awesome! All I know now is that I feel great sadness for knowing that there will be no more to look forward to, but still, I wouldn't trade the feeling I had after having seen the movie for anything in the world.

Spoiler:
I feel such sorrow for Darth Vader. Knowing his sacrifice, what caused him to abandon the Jedi and join the Dark Side, and then seeing how it was all for nothing. Also, Palpatine talking about creating life through altering midi-clorians. Is he hinting at Anakin having been created by a Sith Lord, Palpatine himself, to fulfill the prophecy as the Chosen One?

I know, there are lots of them, but I couldn't seem to find any about the actual movie, so I decided to make a new one, sorry.

Spoiler:
Yes, he does fulfill the prophecy, but his entire life and all the people he loves, are wasted away, killed. That moment with Mace Windu, everything could be changed then, but in stead, he ruins everything

Just got back from seeing it.

Wow, just wow.

I never would have imagined that one of the prequels would end up being the best Star Wars movie ever made.

All I have to say is that when I go see it it better be good, or you all get demerits.

I'm back.

Screw you all, if you come in here, you're begging for spoilers. No spoiler tag here.
Don't be a jackass. Spoiler tag added. -N

The movie had the following problems:

Spoiler:
1. At the end of the movie, Jar Jar isn't dead. He doesn't do anything the entire movie, but you do see him.

2. The chemistry between Padme and Anakin was stiff. I mean, it was there, but eh... Really though. Not too bad.

3. Whoamg. Anakin LOSES THE ABILITY TO ACT when he gets the Darth Vader outfit (which, fortunately, happens at the very end of the movie, so it's not too much of a problem). I mean, that last bit with him was just... Ugh

Doesn't mean it wasn't really 1337, though.

Edit: ARGH I CAN'T SPELL ANAKIN

Oh Em Eff Gee.

I will post more on my thoughts when I get done watching the Original Trilogy.

That's right, I'm doing I, II, Clone Wars, III, IV, V, and VI.

>to the tune of the *M*A*S*H* theme<

Suicide is painless.

I'm going to make Lucas committ it.

And end my pain as a Star Wars fan...

He made number III

To test me

I watched, and yelled out "lame"

But suicide is painless

It'll end this worthless series.

I used to love it, now I hate myself.

Did I mention that the dialogue was good enough to make me want to kill myself?

No, there is a difference between THIS sort of dialogue and Star Wars dialogue. This stuff makes Episode II's look like a fucking speech by Tony Blair. Sure it isn't very believable, but it's not half-bad. This is like hearing Dick Cheney speak after asked about why Haliburton got the most lucaritive oil contracts in Iraq.

I thought this one was very well done, the pacing and mood was good, I saw places where Lucas could have fucked it up, but didn't, and I was pleased. True, there were a number of times when I winced at the dialog, but like Legion said, it's Star Wars.

I loved the final parallel stories both with the duels and then with Anakin and Padme. I also loved the end wrap-up. And of course the action was top-notch.

Tip of my cap to you, Mr. Lucas, you made up for I and II.

I was worried that things wouldn't end up flowing smoothly into episode IV but it does very nicely. In fact, it would be hard to tell that III was after IV if not for the graphic quality of ANH.

After getting out of the theater, I felt like shit. The movie had a very depressing feel to it but in a kind of bittersweet way because we all know how it ends.

One thing that kind of bothered me was the battle on Kashyyk. I just wished it would have been a little more longer and more epic, like the one on Hoth. But still, it was better then fucking ewoks.

Such an excellent way to end...and start the series. =D

If Star Wars has any kind of main moral it is this: Women are the cause of all the world's problems.

Spoiler:
Anakin have to kill the younglings? They were just kids, and the first thing they did when they saw him was ask "Master skywalker, there are too many of them! what should we do?, and then he just kills them all...

screw you lucas for ruining the entire star wars expreience because you overplayed the cruely factor. I hate you now. I guess the only upside was I got the tickets free.

You've got to be kidding me....

Spoiler:
First off, it's just a movie so relax. Second, they did that to emphasize his full turn to the darkside. Now if Anakin had just killed jedi, then it would have been somewhat understandable because he was confused/tricked. Not necessarily full dark side really. But when he killed the padawan children, there was no question about it because only someone who had fully turned to the darkside would have done something like that. Besides, those kids knew what they had gotten themselves into when they decided to go the way of the force.

actually, the Jedi are selected at birth by mediclorine count, so the don't have a choice (see ep 1), and just because I'm fourteen doesn't mean i'm oversensitive. It's just... the presentation of it was more disturbing that other movies i've seen. besdies, I can most relate to Obi-Wan, who actually lives, as well as Anakin, beleive it or not.

Alright, it's taking a shitload of willpower to NOT read these spoilers...

But the worst part is I don't see the goddamned movie for a long time. I need this film, life isn't.... FAIR if you all can see it and I can't because I suck.
