| 1. SMB3. It's SMB3, and I already made my thoughts on S&K clear. 7. Mega Man X2. Still the best of the series. OMG <3 it. 11. Super Metroid. Can I pencil this into the finals right now? 3. Zelda: A Link to the Past. <3 this game lots too. 2. SSB:M. Goldeneye didn't my roommates in the apartment for an entire weekend. 8. Super Mario Kart. Still fun after all these years. 12. SMB. FFVI is still the Tool of video games--good, certainly, but unjustly deified as the second coming of Christ by legions of fans for whatever reason. 4. Chrono Trigger. Yay CT. |

| Missed the last vote so let's see... 1. Super Mario Bros. 3. I don't think there's any justifiable reason to put Sonic and Knuckles ahead of it, even if that's the "real" Sonic 3.  9. Super Mario World. I love the X series but again, it's just a case of being matched up against the wrong game. 11. Super Metroid. The original Zelda is great and will always be great, but Super Metroid is just one of those games you can pick up again and again, and it's non-linear depending what tricks you use.  Never gets old. This was a tough pick. 3. Link to the Past. Never played KH so can't really put it ahead of LttP, which I spent a good month or two on back when I first got it. 2. Super Smash Bros. Melee. I still play this when I'm in the mood, and it's just soooo much chaotic fun. Too bad I've never played it with friends. :\ (Original SSB, yes.) 8. Super Mario Kart. Any game that I could play with friends/family for months on end after everything was unlocked is going to get my vote... plus I still haven't finished OoT.  6. Final Fantasy 6. One of my all-time favorite FF games that I'll have to pick up again sometime soon. Great story, better translation than some earlier Square efforts, good gameplay... and it cost $99.99 Canadian.  4. Chrono Trigger. I know a lot of people think Trigger's "overrated" but you have to take it over Tetris Attack. It was something totally different - a breath of fresh air. (Well, so was TA but I haven't played that quite as much.) ...Wow. 8 Nintendo picks.  |

SUPER MARIO WORLD An absolutely excellent SMB game VS Megaman VS Sigma, take two! Winner: Super Mario World offer more game time and more fun... altought Megaman X 2 is faster paced. =11. SUPER METROID Good ol' Legend of Zelda aged well... but not well enough to defeat the mighty Super Metroid. NEXT! =3. THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST One of the best games of all times VS the most overhyped game of all time. Guess who wins? =2. SUPER SMASH BROS. MELEE It's SSBM. No contest. =10. THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME Old overhyped game that didn't aged well VS slightly less old overhyped game that aged well. Winner: Ocarina of Time. =12. SUPER MARIO BROS. FF6 should have won... but the lack of challenge in FF6 kills it's replay value. SMB may be primitive... but face it. People will still be playing it in 200 years. Yes, it's THAT addictive. =14. | 1. SMB3 Classic game versus a game that sucked without the locked-on S3. 9. SMW I suck at MM games. A lot. 27. LoZ LoZ > You. 3. LoZ: LttP I didn't like LttP that much, but it was still fun. 8. SMK Fun for hours. 12. SMB I play this all the time. Versus a game that is, for some reason, hailed as the Almighty (even though when I played it, it sucked) 14. TA Chrono Trigger sucked. Then again, all RPGs suck. |
