| Ok I'm making a very simple layout, i want it so when the text goes far enough down it scrolls, and then there's a bg behind the scrolling text, just 1 picture, centered and fixed so when you scroll it doesn't move, just the text does. Know what I mean? So can anyone help me with the code? | My $0.02: Avoid scrolling layouts. Browsers already come equipped with vertical scrollbars -- making the user have to flip between using that scrollbar and using your personal scrollbar is a pain (I usually just don't even bother to read the cut off portion of people's posts when they make me scroll). A good layout will stretch and work around the post, regardless of the post's size. The layout should fit the post -- not the other way around. |
