| Chrono Trigger is seriously overrated... but there's still a superb game beneath it. It's not the RPG to end all RPGs but it's still a gem that should be tried at least once. FF7 is a mediocre game showered with unneeded praise. The ONLY reasons why it's considered so good is becease: A- First 3D RPG B- First RPG for a whole generation of gamers You know how partial people are toward their first game... no matter how bad it is, it will always be the best game ever according to them. FF7 is 90% watching flashy pyrotechnics and 9% reading. Then, there's the 0.9% of getting trought menus and finally, a small 0.1% of gameplay. Also... FF7 is the only RPG where you can defeat the final boss at level 14. Exept maybe for FF Mystic Quest, it doesn't get any easier than this! NOTE: DDR < all. Why? Bashing a carpet with my feet with a song in the background is not my idea of "fun"... the fact that I truly despise all songs with a venomous intensity (basically, as soon as there's vocals in a music, I hate it. | Well, I can see why Super Metroid is rated so highly...I went through it again a year ago--I've enjoyed games before, sure, but as I was going through SM again I thought to myself "Holy SHIT this game kicks ass"...and I had beaten it before! Still, like I said, ALttP is my favorite of the games left. |
