For some reason, every single thing on my newly installed hard drive with a fresh install of Windows XP updated to the latest stuff(SP2 and all)is stuck to Read Only. I try and change it, but even folders in C:\ are stuck! At first I thought it was just the files I copied from my old hard drive I have set up as a slave but now I've noticed EVERYTHING is set to it! It's causing one of my programs not to work right apparently. What's wrong?

Have you tried "attrib -r *" in command prompt?
