| 2. Super Smash Bros. Melee. Expanded on an alerady fun fighting game with a bunch of new characters and some viable single-player modes. 18. Goldeneye 007. Tactics felt too much like a ripoff of Vandal Hearts from what I played of it. N/A (Never played Terranigma, didn't get very far in OoT) 8. Super Mario Kart. Driving around as Yoshi gave me a thrill when I was 9 or so (Damn, it's been that long?). 12. Super Mario Bros. Wow, perhaps the toughest matchup this round. SotN is great, but SMB arguably single-handedly revived the video game industry in the mid-80s. N/A (I find FFVI hugely overrated in the same way most fans of VI find VII overrated, and Sonic 3 by itself is, like its counterpart S&K, unimpressive) 14. Tetris Attack. It comes closest thus far to being as OMG ADDICTIVE as its namesake, despite having nothing whatsoever to do with it. 4. Chrono Trigger. The definitive SNES RPG. |

| =2. Super Smash Bros. Melee DUH! Probably THE best game ever... well, maybe... Metroid Prime 1 & 2 comes to mind but well... Anyway. SSBM has a truly excellent single-player mode and probably the best multiplayer mode ever (if it would have been online... Nintendo would have probably won the console war already). Pokemon Silver/Gold is superb and all... but unfortunately for it... it is no match for the almighty SSBM. =18. Goldeneye 007 FF Tactics is a bit overrated in my opinion... but it was still a hard choice. I choose Goldeneye since it's single-player mode quite good and is backed up by a excellent multiplayer mode... an advantage FF Tactics does not have. =10. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time VERY tough choice. Both are OUTSTANDING games... but Ocarina of Time is just a little bit more fun... so it wins. Too bad Terranigma was compared to Ocarina of Time so early! It would have made it far... =26. Starcraft DUH! Best strategy game ever. The overhyped Mario Kart doesn't stand a chance. Face it. Super Mario Kart is NOT that good. =12. Super Mario Bros. Castlevania Symphony of the Night is mighty overrated... but mighty fun as well! On first play, Castlevania wins... but you lose interest as soon as you beat the last boss on all modes while Super Mario Bros. can be replayed over and over again. Winner: Super Mario Bros. =6. Final Fantasy 6 Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles could have been a challenge for Final Fantasy 6... but without the "& Knuckles" part, Sonic 3 stands as a sweet but way too short game that just can't compare to FF6's greatness. =14. Tetris Attack One of the most intense and fun puzzle games ever VS one of the very few games on Xbox that aren't totally dull and boring. My vote goes to Tetris Attack for while KotOR 2 is a very fine game... Tetris Attack is one of my all-time favourite games. =4. Chrono Trigger An easy win here. No matter how good is Final Fantasy X's story, the gameplay just can't compare to Chrono Trigger... and what Chrono Trigger lacks in lenght, it makes up in details and multiple endings. How many RPGs have as much as 16 REALLY different endings? Remember that those are my opinions and as such, while those reasons appear pretty logical to me, do not be offended if they differ from yours!
