| OOC: this is my first time battling in a while go easy on me please Kensi is wandering through the Bamboo Forest, he is bored and looking to spar with the first person he sees. He shouts at the top of his lungs "if anyone is out there come and get me!" and draws his sword with a scrape of metal on leather and the birds fly away with fright |

| OOC: Glad to see you have returned, Mathius. Challenge accepted. However, I don't believe in going easy on anyone as long as the characters are evenly matched... and I'll make sure they are. Good luck. A telepathic message later... "Kensi... My my my... An outcast warrior, bored as long as he's not in combat. That's a shame." There is a pause, then another message... "I have been watching you, Kensi. Fear not, I am merely an ally with psychic ability. Look up." Meanwhile, a streak of sky-blue ether is visible in the sky above... The ether is coating a figure flying through the air in some way or another, but that's all that can be made out. |

| From the air, it looks like the figure and the ether streak had seperated... and the figure was falling to the ground... True. Schwa had jumped off his flying Crystal Disc and dissolved his protective armor, and is at a freefall toward the forest ground. He soon lands at a crouch in front of Kensi, perfectly unharmed. It's amazing how that's possible to jump so far without being hurt. The figure, Schwa, wears white, loose clothes and a jet-black blindfold over his eyes. His fists flare with pure etheral energy. "I am Schwa, Psi Warrior and embodyment of Good. Nice to meet you. Do not be afraid, I would never seriously hurt a guy if that person wasn't Evil. By reading your mind, I can tell that you're not at all Evil. "So you want to spar? I knew it! Sensae told me to find you as you'd be the perfect opportunity to make us both stronger. I'd love to spar with you." Schwa does one backflip and lands maybe 24 feet away from Kensi, fighting stance assumed. "I'll let you strike first. But remember, I play more defensively than offensively. There's your hint." |

| Like lightning, Schwa's arms, coated in brilliant blue ether, go up to block the beam. The ether, of course, absorbs the damage and Schwa takes only a tiny portion of the blow. "Remember, I haven't used my energy up... we just started. Now I'll attack YOU. Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa holds his arms up and together, then brings them down to his sides slowly. This forms an arc of silver psi energy in front of him, drawn from his hands. Then Schwa points directly at Kensi, and the arc flies at him! The attack isn't nearly as fast as Ryu Slash, but it homes in on the foe unceasingly, as it is locked on to the foe's spirit for a sure hit. If it hits directly, this attack does good damage (a little over melee damage as it is a Special Attack) plus extra damage if the foe is Evil (which it's not, in this case) or experiencing a negative emotion at time of hit. "That, my friend, is beyond even YOUR capabilities." |

| Kensi says in a ominous voice " we shall see, Wind of the Wind god, who I happen to be named after, Kensi !" a gust of wind forms a barrior around him to protect him from this one attack. but the beam just skimes Kensi and he says "Not bad for an attack" (edited by mathius on 05-03-05 11:34 AM) |

| OOC: Audience members are just fine, (Ronald), as long as they don't directly interfere with battle. Remember that. And try making your posts more detailed, will ya? "Excellent!" Schwa compliments. "That was a good defense. Now try melee." Schwa dashes toward Kensi, and, upon reaching melee distance, blinks out of existance! In reality, he has not teleported; this is his Speed Burst trick. In half a second, he has managed to dart behind the foe, strike to the back, and dart in front again. This attack borrows slightly from attack power to add to the speed burst, so the melee attack is a little weaker than most. |

| Kensi, not knowing what happened got hit with the brunt of the blow. Kensi shouts "thats it Power of the Immortals!" the wind picks Kensi up and he says "time to meet me at full power allow me to intoduse myself, Kensi Oni Stormcrow, wind mage, but enough talk, Wind Blast" Kensi sticks out his hands in a basic magical ranged attack and says "Beat that my friend!" | |||

| "Can't block energy attacks..." Schwa thinks... Schwa does one backflip as the attack comes close to him, then when his hands touch the ground the first time, he turns it into a GREAT frontflip that propells him over the blast. Furthermore, in the air he blasts Kensi with a sphere of Holy/Pshychic energy from his palms (medium damage if it hits). Schwa lands on his feet (unless attacked while he's in midair). "So you can fly now, eh? So can I. Thunder Glider! (echo effects) Schwa waves his hand, and a small, blue cone begins to form in front of him... a small, blue, solid, upside-down, spinning, spark-giving-out cone! Schwa steps on the flat surface and he begins to hover one inch from it. Then the top lifts him into the air, at Kensi's elevation but 18 feet away. "You may use wind, but thunder is stronger. Bring it on!" |

| Kensi says "If you beat me i will give you this!" holds out a pendent looking thing with a green crystal in the middle "but I have speculations that you do not know what it does." | OOC: First of all, you can't say your techniques work or not... Second of all, I have no idea what you're talking about because you're so vague. Be descriptive next time, at least enough for me to understand what's going on! You need either to edit your post or create another post with the changes in it. Geez, why does this happen EVERY time we battle, Mathius? Does that tell you something or what? |
