Well, I don't remember that undead thing in cosmo canyon being named "gate" in anyway, shape or form, so it must be the "Demon Wall" in temple of the ancients. Originally posted by Xeogred Nemesis is easy enough if you can build up magic defense. Yeah, he does have 10,000,000 HP. However, HP alone a hard monster does not make. [/yoda] Just don't use overdrives on him. |

Xeogred: Quick Hit him to death. Summon Aeons right before he attacks to take the blow. Repeat as necessary. Of course, you'll only have enough time if you're doing max damage with each hit. (edited by Utilityman on 04-03-04 05:21 AM) |

Emerald Weapon for me.. I took ruby and Emerald down in the same night but for some reason Emerald was a bit harder. Momentium possibly? They are both fairly easy with the Final Attack-Life2 combo..

Hardest Boss for me is Ruby WEAPON. I've only been able to beat him once. Hardest normal Monster is the Malboro from FFVIII. Those are such a pain |

I'm almost postive Life 2 does the exact same and it uses much less MP. MP is a vital part in that battle. You can't have any to waste. Emerald's lasers take some MP too.

Definitively Omega from FF V. First of all you need four (expensive) Pearl Rings to defend against his evil first strike, since it does an insane amount of damage in the high thousands (the ring actually makes each character absorbing the damage). THEN he really starts ... Rocket Punch (HP -3/4 plus confusion) and Circle (instant kill and removal from battle) are only two of his most annoying attacks ... Plus he has inherent Reflect status and is insanely fast |

Dark Magus Sisters (FFX International) Oh. My. God. Listen, if you trhink your party is all that because you can blitz FFX's final boss in two turns, then these girls will cut you down to size. Their stats are so high they're just plain silly.

The hardest monster ever would be the Tonberries from X-2. The hardest boss(es) would have to be Angra Mainyu, Ozma, and Hades.

I had some problems with Emerald Weapon and still do . I haven't been able to beat that thing. Are we supposed to? Or am I just getting bosses confused? Is Emerald Weapon the one that was underwater? If so, that one was hard. Lol, that fish thing before you go into Burmecia in FF9 I had trouble with and quit playing until I figured out the problem, I wasn't leveled up enough .

For that underwater weapon you'll need an item which disables the timer. Either post into the FF help thread or go on pages like www.gamefaqs.com. Although I think many people should know the answer here concerning that boss I didn't beat both weapons either, since I didn't messed with them long |

I had some complications with Emrald Weapon, but nothing that a little leveling couldn't fix. Other than that, I believe ther was a monster in a castle basement (in either IV or V) who fucked me up real good. Does Chaupon count? (He was unbeatable.) |

Originally posted by Felix Chupon is beatable, but it is very hard: You need Locke with a high speed value (99 or even better, if the game goes up above that value), you need to have Odin which raises Locke's speed by one point each level up. Then give him all other stuff to put his speed still up; equip the Atma Weapon, the relics Dragon Boots and Dragon Horn and with a little luck you will beat him |

emerald is very easy, all you need is time and patients.... try not to equip as much materia because for each materia you have it does 1111 damage for that character, so if you have 9 materias your done for..(unless you have final attack equiped with phenix...alright so heres how you beat him.. you need Knight of the round materia with hp absorb materia ...a double summon materis and you need 2 or more mimes....(if you only have one dont make the characters who dont have it attack) also equip Final attack and phenix on cloud..and the underwater materia on anyone else when in battle, cast KOTR (it will use KOTR twice because of double summon...and each time it will restore hp if you were hit) then use your characters who have mime...they will use kotr twice as well...and eventually after 20 minutes of watching kotr over and over again you will beat him |
