| This post is written half by me, half by my evil not-really-evil-clone clone Jen who is somewhere on the other side of town watching this screen with Radmin. She's done a spectacular job of making me look like a schiz tonight, in front of several people (inc. but not limited to Kawa, Hiryuu, several people on IRC, and nearly myself) We should just keep the little chats in here, excluding any places or names. That'd make this even wierder for other people. [Ok, I'll just make mine in brackets then.] I don't see why, it'd probably not help the confusion... then again, lots of people here are morons, but some actually have brains. [You just described the world, great going] [So as I was saying, the highway exit to get to here would be Durango.] Damn, that is in the middle of nowhere / other side of town. [Yeah, my grandparents live far away. My real house/condo's highway exit is Cheyene.] I'm by Boulder Highway, not really that far from anywhere... actually in the middle of Henderson really. ANything to do out in the Middle o' Nowhere? [Uh, well. Not really. There are stores and stuff, but, I don't bother going out. I usually just get on my laptop all night, but seeing as I'm house-sitting for a week, it'll be here at my grandma's awesome computer.] I wish I was that lucky. Anyway, hmm.......... .. . [Actually, it's kinda boring by myself here.] Welcome to every day of my life. [>.>; That's kinda emo and angsty.] More or less truthful. There's nothing to do here, sadly. No one lives around here near my age (or is interested in what I am), and I have nowhere to go now... except on the weekdays for a few hours, I go to some class for GED prep, but that ends Monday. [Bahhh, you just reminded me of the work I have to do for VHS. x.x;.. .Oh well. Anyway] You should really register here, you'd probably enjoy it  [Can't drive, mom sleeps in day time. So it'd clash hard with lives.] (by registering, I meant here...) why can't you just drive at night and get your license? Then you could drive whenever. [ (oh. >.>;; I have too many threads and stuff to go to. .. Fuck, that reminds me of Gaia.) Because I'm afraid of cars --;;.. well, kinda. I'm not ready to drive yet. That and I have no job to pay for the insurance.] I'm not exactly happy driving either, heh... not really that fun for me (read: I'm a nervous wreck) [I think I'd be a nervous wreck, too. The roads are crazy here in Vegas.] That reminds me -- if I could remember doh. But anyway, she had asked this person if he liked driving and wanted to get his liscence -- he answered yes. I then asked "was it from here?" answer: no. Simple -- there's nothing to do here, and therefore no reason to get a liscence unless you have a jorb. [A jorb, huh? .. Anyway. There are things to do. Like DDR and stuff at the arcades. But then you would need a jo'r'b for money and gas. I think driving would be nice if the jackasses here weren't crazy.] [And my eyes sting, I have no idea why.  ]We have arcades? Where the f*ck have I been lately? Damn. And at DDR, I'd likely fall over 99% of the time and get a E the time I didn't fall over. That, and darn straight about those horrible drivers. Jeez. [We have arcades in the casinos. Duh. :p New York, New York has half of a second floor devoted to nothing but arcade-y games. And there's some place called Game Stop (.. Or is that a game repair and I have the names mixed up?) somewhere on the Strip. It's supposedly like... stories (floors, you know? building-wise) of games. :o Haven't been, but I really want to- OH THAT'S RIGHT. The name's not Game Stop, it's Game Works.] I was hoping I could correct you on that. Busted. Anyway, yeah, I've been there -- it's somewhat all it's cracked up to be (billions of arcade games) but it's out on the strip, another place that's hell to get to. Second, arcades in casinos = suck. The NY,NY one isn't that bad, though. [Not all the arcades in casinos suck. T_T;] I know the ones in, say, Sunset Station do. I've been there, and it is suckfest. As a note, we've filled up almost 4 times as much as a normal bucket'o'spam from yrs. truly makes in a normal post. Shock. [The ones in the Mirage, Fiesta Station, Boulder Station, Santa Fe (not in the movie theatre across the street, though) all suck. Let's see, good ones are in.. the Rampart, Sam's Town, Texas Station (though they changed the DDR now and it sucks. T_T), the Stratosphere.. *thinks of more, comes up with nix.*] The Stratosphere? I wouldn't go up that if you offered me 20 bucks. Though mabye a hundred, sure, but... em. (doh!) I'd probably know more about these damn casinos if I had some way to get there - my mom works all day and ... yeah, I have no other modes of transpotation. [When I say the Stratosphere, I mean the casino down around the tower. It's by the elevator up there, though. And jesus. Did you hear about the two girls on the Insanity ride? T___T omgomg, I would've freaked. 900 ft. in the air with nothing but a roller-coaster seat strapped to you. T_____________T. For 90 minutes, too. God. And what did they offer the girls? What did the idiots think of to give them? A pass for a year to ride the Insanity. So because of that, the parents are taking them to court.] I read about that actually. People here are morons. "Let's see, they just spent an agonizing 90 minutes over 900 feet above Vegas, in 60+ degree winds on a ride like that. Yes, let's offer them a year's pass to that same ride in compensation. DURRRRGHGh. As a side note, I did think you were talking about the base. I was just throwing the conversation away. Fun fact: we're now at over 6x my average. Radmin ... I think I used that once to watch my cousin play GunBound  And I've done Notepad chats like this too, long ago, but letting someone else take my place to make me seem different would be weird Registering here would be nice, this board's size is nothing compared to Gaia Online if that's what you mean ... it's ranked #1 in Big Boards, and damn huge with its 360 million total posts and 1.8 million users (over 20000 online right now) ... while all we've had here in total is about 1 million posts and 4000 users (max online was 49) I played ROSE soon after it opened, but it runs too slow on my computer to be fun, thanks to onboard video ... so I never came back since then |

| Yeah, you did, I tried to play GB using this but for some reason it wouldn't move the mouse and I had to C-A-D it. And holy crap Acmlm posted, and in my thread no less. I did let her take my place for a few IMs, it was fun trying to get Kawa to realize it was two different people (he didn't figure it out until we basically said it to his face) And for all you idiots out there: that's not some random person I made up (read: female self in mind), that's an actual flesh-and-blood person that I did see IRL ------- But wow, Gaia Online is that big? Damn, I never would've guessed  |
