You don't necessarily have to have a masterpiece to show it iff, just post your workstation/gaming station. Show us where you work!

My computer is mostly used for drug and booze storage.

Rock and roll.

There are 4 Stella Artois in it right now. Some salvia. And a teensy bit of DXM.

Workstation... picture of...

Um, wouldn't this possibly go into General CHAT? Unless we're talking gaming stations... hell, mine would pretty much be just a plain pic of my room.

My PC that I am currently using is a 1994 laptop that can't possibly have any good games... my OLD one was a beast, though, if that counts for anything

This was a very old screenshot and is extremely outdated, but it does the job.

Well, there is a Nintendo DS in it, which makes it pretty recent. If we were talking about extreme outdated, you would have posted a pic of a 486 running Windows 3.1....

As far as the placement of this thread goes, I figured most of the people who use this board have Gaming machines, whether or not they are high end is not the point. Its just gaming machines, or where you spend most of your time hacking. So, I thought it would fit well in this forum. But, its up to you mods and whatnot, put it where you feel.

[EDIT] OMG, i made a typo, typed "decent" instead of "recent", which changes the whole meaning of the sentence to sound like i was a egotistical Nintendo Fanboy. (Fanboy I may be, but egotistical I am not)

My computer is a very new Power Mac dual G5. It kicks truckloads of ass. I don't use it for gaming, though. I only care about console gaming, and for that, we have a GameCube and a PS2. Rando modded said PS2, so it has a transparent blue flip top case and a 110-gig hard drive with a bunch of our favorite games installed. The entire setup works awesomely because we've had the console for over four years and it has a cranky laser, so it's nice to only ever have to read game discs once and be able to twiddle the laser adjustment wheel easily through the flip top lid. Rando's computer is in a mini case so he can easily pack it up and take it to LAN parties.

*sniff* How could you insult the universe by WASTING such a beautiful piece of machinery? Well, I don't know how beautiful it is, but if it kicks truckloads of ass, it should have games on it, dammit

Well, I don't actually ahve the machine yet, cause it's being made right now and it's then being shiped to my home which i won't be at for another week, but here is a link of the basics about my new comp.

My New PC.

I just got a new laptop about 10 months ago, but three weeks ago some fucker came in and peed on it, totally destroying everything that was on it. Luckily, I had just put on Gentoo and had backed everything to an external hd so i didn't loose anything, thank God. I just got the insurance money back on the machine and I can't wait to go home and have fun with it.

The types of computer games that require lots of power don't appeal to me because they tend to be quite complex and time-consuming, and being a casual gamer, I prefer simpler games that I can pick up and put down at will. There are many of these available for consoles.

I do have plans for all the power in my G5 tower - recording and messing around with my original music and perhaps getting supar w00t with Photoshop - but they'll have to wait until my current costume projects are out of the way.

I don't have a powerfull gaming mashin per se.. it's a 6 years old Pentium III 450MHz with a gForce 2 Grafics card.

But it serves for all my gaming needs, in displaying the images from my Game Consoles (not in the picture).

And my Room is fitted for a videobeamer, just connect and you have a big picture on the wall to the right. (Best viewed from my bed).

That sounds pretty kickass. Would be great to see a four-screen monitor in one room showing what each player in different rooms are doing on a game of half-life or something like that.

For even more games like that, you can go to just about any arcade. Rampage is a game I could play for a while, get bored of, and put down at any time

Believe it or not, there's not too much of that available in central PA. We had two arcades in town, but they both closed. All I've seen recently are random machines at the movie theater and whatnot. It's a bummer because I used to love to play pinball at Playland when I lived right across the street from it. I'd also have to take a road trip if I ever wanted to play DDR on a machine. (At least one of our friends in a nearby town has a Cobalt Flux pad, which is really the next best option... )
