Not to mention Tall Tall Mountain. Once you go down the slide, you can't go back to the rest of the level. So much for being possible to get the 100-coin star, because now you HAVE to go down the slide last, and once the star appears, WHOOM, it's gone.

Also, 65740 on Shell Smash, but for some reason the game won't save anything above ~54000! That happen to anyone else?

They actually put up that barrier because it was possible to get it without doing the slide. Actaully, that's the way I always did it - I never even knew there was a slide until I read the strategy guide.

They could have put a vanish cap in there or something. A one-way teleporter. ANYTHING!

You have to have seen the UK nitnendo magazine for some great scores. They had things like 500,000 points on the slingshot one where you shoot down bob-ombs.

So? They're not on Acmlm's. We don't care what OTHER people got.

Yeah. It's fun having Acmlm only scores, because they aren't impossibly hard to beat (on some of 'em.)

Once Mario Kart DS comes out, we gotta have tournaments and stuff. That'd be awesome!

I still have to get one. I think I'll wait untill online function is usable. That way, I'll know exactly what I'll have to get.

I know absolutly nothing about wireless routers 'n stuff.

You guys are yet to have a thrashing by me in the original Super Mario Kart, too. It's a bit hard to do it anytime soon though, as I'm still stuck on this pathetic dial-up connection.

I'd consider taking you on, but my joystick's acting up. It keeps pulling to the left every now and then.

I don't see why it's so hard to just use a keyboard. I use a keyboard in emulation and don't have a problem controlling things.

I use the keyboard for SNES so much that the number 2 on the button is wearing off. (Too much jumping )

A Mario Kart DS tournament sounds awesome! I wonder how the bottom screen will be used...

It's just used as a map. You can change it to closer in or full map size. You see the character's faces go around the map, so you always know where everyone is. And on the left, there're the characters faces which also show you what item they currently have.
