No. The second picture doesn't look remotely like a graveyard, and the first doesn't look good. It has to many sprites, and if you look at the lakitu you can see why that is bad. And the third doesn't even show up. | |||

It isn't bad. But it have SMW GFX. Try to use ExGFX , because I hate SMW grass FG. Why you dont use ExGFX? I sometimes try make level in SMW and I use ExGFX. So if you use ExGFX (Uhh, ExGFX , ExGFX ...) and it may be good hack. |

To say it "looks great" is simply dolloping on praise for the sake of it. It's an average first hack. Given that LM lets just about anyone place SMW tiles and sprites without learning anything, I don't think there's much to say here. Seriously, giving out false praise is just as damaging as being terminally obnoxious, if not more. |

1st Screen- Same look as Yoshi's Island 2, you may want to change that up. At least there appears to be some action in this screen, although it may be too hard, but you never know until you play, thus I assumer nothing. 2nd Screen- Bad palettes for the ghosts. I don't know why there's suddenly been an influx of generic SMW hacks, but my point is, it takes a lot more to please players nowadays. Even players that can do without an ExGFX and ASM-laden, the levels still need to be eye-catching in some way...nothing here particularly stands out. Custom palettes can help, a good number of enemies, spread out reasonably, and non-linear level designs, not just one straight path, but a bunch of little alternate paths for players to be encouraged to explore around, and for replayability. |

Well, all i can is is. Nice first try, and it looks like all you did was a level hack. Im not going to be an ass (like some people) and say thing like, its horible. Because it's not, but it is not great eather. Keep at it thogh, and don't let stupid people deture you from doing anything good, because of their lack of maners. Some people are just plain out rude from time to time. Just let their stupidity go in one ear, and out the other. |

peter_ac, if you don't have constructive or at least mildy intelligent to say, don't say it. But really, this hack is below average. I'd really like to say that this hack is way below average, but there are just too damn many total crap hacks bringing it down. I mean, look at it. It's not like I can talk about the flaws in level design and such, because a demo hasn't been released. But look at what we can see. The only changed palletes are bad. Too many sprites in the first screenshot. The rest looks like it has hardly been changed. Now, how the hell can you get "a good hack" from that? @Golden Yoshi: Meh. I've never been a good fan of mixed paths. But SMW is an exception, since you can go can go through all paths in the same file without having to start over. Now, those are cool, but only when you can choose to go through them all instead of having to limit yourself to one path. I hate those. But since what you were saying is only directed at SMW, my point is moot... |

Calm down with all the fucking flaming. It's not THAT bad. It's not "OMG AWESOEM", but it isn't shitty either. There is a good graveyard-style set by Hidden Mario(Ice Man) on the ExGFX workshop, btw. Use that one. |
