| 1. Super Mario Bros. 3 2. Sonic and Knuckles 9. Super Mario World 25. Dance Dance Revolution 11. Super Metroid 5. Final Fantasy VII 13. Kingdom Hearts 3. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past Reasons for votes: 1. Obviously this game is one of the best games ever made. While Halo 2 is fun, it just can't beat what Mario had. 2. F-Zero GX got boring for me. Now if they went in and added a track editor along with it, then probably would have more replay value, but nope... plus, Sonic and Knuckles was a really good game. 9. SMW was the first Mario game I beat 100% all levels. 25. The best non-controller game ever. While X2 was good... I guess... DDR just had a flair that you couldn't beat. 11. Never played Chrono Cross... 5. If it was a different Zelda game, then maybe this one would have been tougher. Unfortunatly, it was the first NES version. There isn't anything wrong with that, but I find LA and LttP better... and plus, FFVII has the best boss in video game history... or I think so. You just can't beat Sephiroth... he was pure evil from the start. 13. Kingdom Hearts. I think that this game broke out of the cliche RPG style and went into its own way of explaining a story and had the best battle system in an RPG. Awesome music, cool graphics, EXCELLENT story, and the best group of evil baddies ever. They all are just pure darkness. 3. This is the second Zelda game I played (following LA, which I played first). I thought the game was really, really good. It first featured the Master Sword and the bosses are cool. I just couldn't get into RE4, like all RE games... I don't know why... |

| Okay, here we go. 1. SMB 3. Really, was Halo 2 nothing more than a $50 setup for Halo 3? 17. F-Zero GX. Sonic and Knuckles by itself was unimpressive. F-Zero GX, on the other hand, may be my favorite racing game ever. 23. Bubble Bobble. Go cutesy music, firing bubbles to trap enemies, and NOW, IT IS BEGINNING OF A FANTASTIC STORY! 7. Mega Man X2. This was a toughie, but MMX2 was the best of the series, and prior to when the storyline stopped making sense. 11. Super Metroid. This being my favorite game ever, it didn't matter what it was going up against. Surprised it's seeded this low, actually. 5. Final Fantasy VII. I still say VI is the overrated one of the series. 13. Kingdom Hearts. No particular reason really, but it was a fun game. 3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Another of my favorite games ever, though not quite in the Super Metroid league. |

| 1: SMB 3. Basically, everyone said what I want to say about it already. Also, Hammer Suit forever. 2: Sonic and Knuckles. It was a game that had a plot that I could actually understand, and is currently my latest SF inspiration. 3: Super Mario World. I remember how happy I was when I got that damn star next to my 96 exits game. 4: Let's DEE DEE AHH! Now, if it were X3, I'd be singing a different tune and stamping a few different steps. 5: Super Metroid. Chrono Cross was good, but Metroid wins all. 6: Zelda. See, unlike 7, it was impossible for Zelda to be overrated. 7: Kingdom Hearts, hands down, because it is the greatest game ever made no matter what anyone else says ever. Well, that's not entirely true, but it's certainly better than KOTOR (although KOTOR is quite an impressive game aside). 8: Ha. Haha. Yeah. LTTP. (In all seriousness, I've never played RE4) |

| Did anyone else notice that this topic should have officially ended? And if that holds true, then Zelda beat FF7... Again, damned fanboys... and I'm saying this having voted for Zelda I would have thought there were more FF fanboys on this board than Zelda ones... then again, there can be an argument for having a Zelda/Zelda: Lttp hacking forum (a dark horse shot, but still), and in no way is there going to ever be a FF hacking forum. So, I really shouldn't be surprised. And, on behalf of Kyouji and other people who actually PLAY Little Fighter 2, I am going to say that the game should be included in the next bracket... even though I don't play it. |
