I know there have been threads about Kingdom Hearts in the past, but come on this is a fantastic game with a GBA and PS2 sequal on the way. Who knew that a collaboration of Disney and Square could produce a fantastic action RPG with an a story wrapped in all kinds of mystert...and who doesnt love th KeyBlade?! | It's not *that* great. I found it too easy and the characters get annoying after playing the game for a bit. The only challenges i had were with Sephiroth and Phantom. Everything else in the game wasn't difficult at all. Battle system was kind of fun though. It's always fun to jump around whacking away at a bunch of monsters. |

| i really don't like the voice acting in this game--i find it dry...either that or my americanized bias is getting in the way. the battle system is pretty good and the story alright...anyways, i haven't made it far into this game so I can't say anything else... |

| A bit on the easy side, yes, but I thought the battle system was a lot of fun, and the game had a decent share of hidden stuff. I'll definately put some time into the sequel when it comes around. | |||

| I remember, long ago, me, Sion, his bro, and his friend were looking through a magazine. In it, we saw a picture of a game Square was making involving Disney characters. I thought it was gonna be a stupid game. Years later, the game finally came out, and a few months.. maybe a year later, I finally played the game, and I was completely shocked. I loved the battle system, and I really enjoyed the story. (I was also shocked to see such a dark tone in a story involving Disney characters) So.. I guess it goes without saying that I can't wait for the second game.. And about the difficulty.. It was hard in the beginning.. For most people, you have to get readjusted to a new game, even though you're pretty good at games. However, as you got more and more items and such, things kinda change. You have more control, and you become more powerful. Having those MP Haste abilities kinda aided in making things easier, but at the same time, it made the game more fun for me.. so I don't mind that.... I am glad to say that I can defeat Sephy without too much trouble. I don't need any items at all. Just hand me my keyblade, some MP Hastes, Aeroga, Curaga, and Sonic Blade/Strike Raid, and I'm all set.  One thing that disappointed me was defeating the final boss. I expected more than a Kefka-like finale. It reminded me of beating Final Fantasy 6, where I defeated the final boss with one attack... |

| I didn't get the game when it first came out. I thought it would be way too kiddie. Then I rented it, mainly because people from here said it was amazing. So I played it. And then I bought it. Amazing game and I cannot wait until the next one is released. I heard it's going to be darker than before. |

| It sure is going to be darker, and all the mysteries will be solves, and the battle/summon system will be improved, and cloths will play a role in the game some how. I really didnt care for the game at first glance...then I saw the commercial and the song entranced me in a way that I went out and bought the game the very next day (best gaming decision of my life) Kingdom Hearts has become one of my favorite games, and to think that I wasnt even excited about it. There have been games that Ive waited months to buy and when it was all over I was just like...well...that was...interesting. Im impatiently waiting for KH2 to be released.....I hope ill get to wear one of those awsome raincaots and use two keyblades. Yes the game was a little easy, but I really dont care about difficulty in games. The battles and story were great therfore the game was great. I beat Sephiroth at level 75 with Oathkeeper and some mega-elixers....yea Im awsome! I know. |

| Well, for me, it's a good thing the game is somewhat easy, because I don't really have time to sit in front of a TV for hours trying to figure out how to do something. I have a job and am in my last year of college - I just don't have the time for a difficult game, not at the moment. So yes, I realize the game's not the hardest one ever played, the replay value's not so great either, and I'm still waiting on an explanation for Aeris, if you catch my drift. (I made up one of my own, but that's another story.) But guess what? I don't care. I love this game. People have already mentioned the battle system, which I like too. The Keyblade, although still technically a sword I guess, was a nice variation on a weapon anyway. And I liked seeing Donald and Goofy redone, FF style. Plus it was interesting to see two completely different styles coexisting, two styles that I'm crazy about despite the fact that they are so different. Oh yes, and the "Simple and Clean" song - loved that too, that and the TV ad was what made me decide to try this game out in the first place. Now, I'm hooked. The positive aspects far outweighed the negative ones for me. And you'd better believe I'm gonna be first in line at the video rental store when the sequel comes out.  |

| I don't think the game is great in any way. The characters are absolutly horrible and got so damn annoying after hysr 2 hours of playing it. If I wanted to watch a lame Disney movie, I would of. Overall the only thing good about the game was the battle system which got tedious itself very quickly. |

| That would have been awsome, but through out the course of the game I grew to loves those crazy idiots. When the sequal comes out ill be first in line to BUY the game. For those of you who thought the game was too kiddie, the sequal will be much darker. This somehow goes along with Soras new "darker" cloths in some way. Theres also another boy with 2 keyblades and he seems much "lighter" coincidence I think not! Its my theory that Soras heart and soul were somehow seperated, so one of them is his dark side while the other is his light side, hence the ability for thay kid to wield the Oathkeeper. Mickey Mouse will also play a larger role in the game. His character will be handled in a "special" way says the creator of KH2. Hopefully he'll be able to join you or something. | Kindom Hearts... what can I say? Seriously, from the opening FMV this game had me entranced. I really didn't know what to make of it when I first heard about it. It was was a Square game with Disney characters. It sounded like a kiddie game. I didn't think that Square could produce a game that sucked (ok, Unlimited Saga wasn't that great). So I rented the game. I damn near cried at the end. My eyes were literally swelling up with tears. I love this game. My second favorite game of all time (FF7 being number one). I can't wait for the sequals. |

| I haven't completed it yet I'm at umm..The Little Mermaid World. It seems kind of slow right now. My sister said it would get better. I hope it does from what you guys have said it seems like its much better than so far. Some of it has been good so far. I like the battlesystem like others have said. It's fun how you can just jump around and kill all kinds of things. The Storyline has been okay so far. Yeah, the voice overs do need help and could be better. Like what Anya said, it would have been better if you could switch Donald and Goofy or something. Other than that, it's a decent game from what I have played. | |||
