| When I try to register, the urlin the status bar is this: http:///register.php Same with memberlist, login, etc. Now without further adeiueieueiueu, what the hell do I do? Help is really appreciated  Edit: I read this thread: http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=11459 but it didn't help. Exactly, what do I have to edit and how do I do it? I had this problem too.. I didn't even notice the problem until some IE users noticed it  Once you manage to register, navigate to "boardconfig.php"; It's in the main board folder. set the "base board URL" in there to your AcmlmBoards root directory, and the links should be fixed If theres absolutely no way that you can register through the board, go into PhpMyAdmin, get to your boards database, click users in the list, click insert, and enter the info that you need to. Instead of a password, put "81dc9bdb52d04dc20036dbd8313ed055" in password. this should set your password to "1234". (edited by Diddy on 04-16-05 10:43 AM) (edited by Diddy on 04-16-05 10:44 AM) |

hmm.. I'm not sure what to do then.. I was using firefox, which for some reason seemed to use the links correctly, and I didn't even know of the problem until an IE using friend reported it  . *waits for someone with more skill then himself to show up*  (edited by Diddy on 04-16-05 01:13 PM) |

| Registering through PMA is not going to work, you'll still have the problem with the links. Like I point out in the other 2 threads discussing this situation, you need to edit the boardconfig table and edit the boardurl field in that table. | Click browse in the users table through PHPMyAdmin and search for your user. (I imagine there is only one) Then set powerlevel to 4 and hit submit. That should set you to powerlevel 4 and let you access the admin panel/configuration. |
