Kyle faced Schwa and thought for a moment.

Kyle: A match? Yeah, alright. I'll remember that.

Kyle got up from his seat, preparing to leave the stadium. Not much seemed to be happening...and as long as he was there, he wasn't available for other fights and adventures. He took a step toward the exit, and then remembered one thing. He tapped William on the shoulder.

Kyle: Right, Will, I never said that the one battle we had back then was great. Also...I kinda like ya, so I can't really help giving you something cool...

Kyle reached into his pocket and pulled out an odd tan stone with five black dots on it, making a square with one dot in the middle. He handed it to William.

Kyle: This is a gravity rune. It can be used once per battle, in any battle or challenge thing you might go into. You can choose one of two things to do with it; you can cast a zero gravity spell, which immobilizes a foe as long as you concentrate, and an increase gravity spell, which lowers their speed and makes them much heavier, making them use more energy for attacks. I think you'll remember these two . Go on, use them, it'll make me happy. Maybe if you strengthen your gravity magic, you could figure out some more spells from it.

Kyle winked to William, then departed the arena with a few apologies for possibly getting a tad off topic.

Elite Seph: *thinks* "Damn, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide... fortunately, I've got this!"

HA!

Elite Seph screamed at the top of his metallic lungs, and as he did so, his metallic plates and parts were instantly replaced with an essence of clear, see through skin purely resistant to any conventional means of attack... infact, Elite Seph had now gone into his Ghost Phase, turning him into Elite Ghost Seph for as little as 30 seconds. While he is practically invinsible while in this form, there's still one major weakness that can be found within such a credible ability, though only the strong at mind can pin point it.

As such, the attack merely hit him... infact, it as much went THROUGH him without showing any signs of damage to be done. He stood through the attack clean as a whistle.

Elite Ghost Seph: "Voila... my very patened Ghost Phase, resistant to each and every element. Like they say, resistance is futile... unless it's the type of resistance I speak of, of course. Now, let's see how you handle my Ghost and supersonic abilities at once!"

MANIPULATE!

Suddenly, Elite Ghost Seph started creating thousands of illusions of himself, popping up and encircling Janus from virtually everywhere. Not a single spec of land was not to be covered by them.

Then, they all started to rush at Janus at an incredible speed, which was further credited by Seph's Super Focus ability (which, like the Ghost Phase, only lasts 30 seconds; I wouldn't go as far as making it last forever or as long as I want it to), well-over-doubling their current speed as opposed to their normal pace. They stopped within an inch of Janus before swipping away at him simultaneously... only there was something oddly fishy about the nature of the attack... they all attacked at one time, but only one of these Elite Ghost Sephs was the real deal and the rest were all fake, meaning that only one of them shall feel Janus' pain when attacked. Even worse, Seph transmitted their IDs through his use of "advanced tech" so that they all have the same IDs, making it impossible to pinpoint the real copy of Seph through telekinetic means.

User Grey: "Janus, try a Kirbynite-style offensive..."

User Grey's words echoed through Janus' mind. It was just crazy enough to work!

Janus: "Right! Hurricane!!!"

While Seph spent his time talking about the almighty power of his Ghost Form, Janus used that opportunity to spin himself into a fierce tornado, which grew in power as Seph continued his dramatic speech, totally ignored by our hero, save for the word "ghost"...

Janus considered just for a second. According to the logic of Ragnarok Online, Seph's Ghost-style armor really was unaffected by most elements. He'd be hard to hit. But there was a trick Janus could pull out of his sleeve. He didn't know how he'd explain it to Schwa, but he combined his Hurricane attack with a little something else...

By the time Janus was able to shout "Tactical Modification!!!" his tornado had already grown to insane levels, as the illusions were completely unaffected by his wind-element powers. The second part of the attack, though, was a little more intense.

There was a residue left inside of Satchel from Janus' last battle with Schwa, Elder Schwa... Because of the power of a technique the current Schwa had yet to learn, Psi-Vortex, Janus had gained Holy powers for a period of time, rendering his attacks nearly useless against a good character such as Schwa. Janus thought it'd be the end of the battle, but lo and behold, there was actually some benefit to having holy power in one's weaponry. That said...

"Spirit Hurricane!!!"

At his shout, the rampaging windstorm that had resulted out of the time Janus had used while Seph was talking blew out a huge burst of holy energy, specifically designed to defeat ghosts... The windstorm had ceased blowing air around and started blowing holy energy! Surely, the millions of Sephs attacking Janus would be neutralized, but what happened to the real Seph was an absolute mystery to him...

Kirbynite pressed himself against his chair. He pulled out a belt that was squeezed between the chair back and seat and quickly fastened himself.

Kirbynite: I am so glad this place was built with it.

OFF: Sorry I haven't posted here in so long... it's just my internet's been running so slow lately that I've begun to grow disgruntled with it.

And you're right about one thing: Ghosts generally (note "generally") can't be affected... fortunately, you found the Ghost's only true weakness with that last attack, so....
___________________________________________________________________________

The Ghosts were neutralized with ease, discipating and blown away without a trace... save for the actual, which it's Ghost Phase suffered incredible damage and his Phase meter (the total Life Meter for each of his "Phases," which is nothing compared to the Life Force of his actual character actually) had plummeted to slightly over halfway gone the instant he'd been attacked. Fortunately, he was able to recover, bouncing back from that attack and rehabilitating with another attack of his own.

Elite Seph: "My word... that was impressive... yes, I was actually impressed, but don't forget that I can strike using Elemental spells, too... and I can also drain Elemental powers! Watch me closely..."

Seph launched an Anti-Energy field into the air, completely surrounding Janus in a never ending field of Anti-Energy which, while not immobilizing the target (as in he can't move once inside), will disemble his ability to use Elemental spells for a single turn only. And in that spare time, Seph launched an attack of his own...

AVALANCHE!

Seph launched an offensive storm attack of his own back at the Energy-less Janus in the form of a raging mountain made of ice, which was speeding towards Janus at a reclusive speed and continued to grow larger as it further engaged him, until it simply could not grow any more and came within just distance of the target. Considering he can't counter using any Elemental-spells (each Element has their own strengths and weaknesses, as all of you know), this just might have the desired effect Seph had hoped for, but time would only tell, and unfortunately, time has already worn thin...

Janus smiled at Agent Green, who nodded and winked back, giving him the thumbs up sign and pointing to his shoe. Janus grinned. User Grey designed these arenas to take a lot of damage, it was time to see just how much.

While Seph was speaking, three separate actions happened at once: With one hand, Janus reached up to his face and turned on Blue's Sunglasses, which gave him a quick tactical analysis of his current situation....

Target: Giant Ice Wall
Height: Unknown
Width: Unknown
Depth: Unknown
Weaknesses: Fire, Lightning
Estimated Density: Titanium-Type
Weight: Greater than 10000 Tonnes
Source: Target Elite Seph
Suggested Course of Action: Stop Asking Me.

With a grimace on his face and his other hand reaching into the inside pocket of his suit jacket, Janus turned on Red's Suit to setting 10, multiplying his meager physical strength into something that'd at least let him do some semblance of damage. Not to Seph, of course....

The third action? Janus did a quick hop in the air and his shoes glowed green for a second, returning to the jet-black color they had previously sported. Green's Shoes were active!

Now all that was left was to put it all together with a catchy one-liner....

Janus: "There ain't nothing elemental about this!"

As he yelled that out, he bounced high into the sky, a hydraulic leap that sent him soaring, only to turn around in midair and rocket back toward the floor of the arena as Satchel started spinning into a drill-like device! He hit the ground hard, his increased strength helping ever so slightly to force a hole in the extremely hard metal tiles. The Ice wall rushed closer and closer as he drilled, and finally broke through. Diving into the hole he created, Janus used it as cover for the gigantic storm attack and escaped reasonably unharmed (save for the stinging wind that filled his foxhole as the wall passed).

But, sadly, he's not exactly in a position to counterattack...

OFF: Again, sorry for the long, looooooooooong delay, but I've found another message board that I like to post at (I'm not gonna say what it is; it's called illegal advertising of other forums on the net), and as such, I don't post here quite as often as I used to, though I still chum around here every now and then when I feel like it, but I'll try going back to being a regular poster here and stick around at least till the conclusion of this fight. Elite Seph: "Oh, so you like to play hardball, eh? No problem!"

Elite Seph began to "focus" energy into his right hand... it appears as though he were willing to do something with it, something deadly and unsubtle to say the very least, but for now, it remained to be seen...

At this point, Grey just blew the whistle.

Grey: *FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!* "Janus, take five!"

Janus: "What?"

Stage crews moved bits and pieces of the arena scenery left and right as Janus, who had taken the extra time to get into his old costume and even found the cardboard cutouts of the Agents and Detective that had to be used when Grey banished them to the Dracooniverse, rose up out of his foxhole. Grey, wearing an outfit that made him look ever so slightly like Stephen Spielberg, would have nothing of Janus continuing this battle.

Grey: "I'm understudying your role for this scene. You've been working too hard lately, especially in Dark or Light and DiEn Wedding. And I don't even want to talk about Riddle of the Chao..."

Janus: "What the hell man, what about you? You're practically slicing up the dance floor in DiEn Wedding, while still conducting a Local Mod fight AND gearing up for a user battle with Hunter! Not to mention Angry Outcasts... You're working harder than me!"

Grey: "You're in Angry Outcasts, too... The point is, you've got a lot more on your plate right now than I do, and I've had this thing about taking on Seph for a while now. If you don't stop working on this scene, I'm gonna cut your pay."

Janus: "You don't pay me!"

Grey: "Hey, who's the Reason here, and who's the Courage?"

Janus: "Bah, fine... I'll be in the Kitchen."

Grey: "Ah, yeah... If you're so willing to work, would you mind helping the Gemini Twins and the Lizard Brothers clean up that mess? It's looking pretty crappy right about now..."

Janus: "Wha... Ch... Bah, fine... He's all yours."

Grey: "Thanks, man! Look forward to a skill promotion soon."

Janus: "I'd better..."

Grey: "Shadow Sam's got it in the works!"

Janus: "Hrmph."

As Janus stalked off the set, removing his old suit jacket and slinging Satchel over his back, Grey clapped his hands together several times, assembling the stage crew so that the scene could continue without a hitch.

Grey: "Right, guys, let's take it from line.... 34 or so on the second page, fifty posts per page. Seph's charging energy, and I want to see some emotion here, people!"

As he walks into the arena and prepares to battle Seph, he kicks a cardboard cutout of Agent Red out of the way.

"And can someone get rid of these cutouts?"

A stage hand rushed into the arena and gathered up the cutouts of Grey's crew as Kalar and Garro went out to the arena bar to have a drink. Grey turned to face Seph, and grinned.

"....Right. That's better. And yeah, I can play it with the best of them!"

OFF: On with it then....
___________________________________________________________________________

Elite Seph stared at Grey for merely a few seconds, focusing in on his next attack, which was certain to be a deadly one.

Elite Seph: "Hehehehehehe....."

TIME FREEZE!

As soon as Elite Seph called out the spell's name, time appeared to grow as thin as ice, and came to an unsuspecting halt. No one or nothing moved but Seph during this brief moment of pause and society.

Seph utilized that spare time by coming at Grey with his charged attack.

TRI-ATTACK!

Seph combined an Omega Drain blast with the Ultra Xeletor blast and the Krypticalonea attack into a single wave of energy, and sent them soaring towards the evidently inept Grey at a vast speed from just several feet ahead of him.

Time Freeze: A very special non-attack power that puts time and all traces of it but the caster to a quick halt for a single turn. Elite Seph is only entitled to do this once, however.

Tri-Attack: Power-up ability that allows Seph to combine any 3 attacks and/or energies and unleash them in a single wave of Elemental power. But due to it's overwhelming nature and taxation of soul power, Seph's CPU can only stand to perform this action once, much like with his Time Freeze ability.

Krypticalonea: A physically harmless beam of energy that, upon impact, PERMANENTLY depletes all of the target's strengths, turning them into weaknesses. Is made extra effective if used with any of the Xeletor beams (NOTE: by "permanently," I meant permanently as in for the remainder of the battle to which it was inflicted, not a contemporary status that infects your character from the point it affects him to the point he dies in the midst of a sim-battle and, in any which case, is no longer living).

Omega Drain: An aurora of absorption energy that, while normally drains 25% of the foe's health without any side-effects of any sort, drains double that amount (which, in this case, would be half the target's remaining health) while replenishing the caster's health by 25% (half that amount) if it has a weakness to Elemental attacks/Ki Attacks.

Ultra Xeletor: The most prominent and efficient mode of the Xeletor variety. Like it's predecessors, Hyper Xeletor and standard Xeletor, it attacks the target by inflicting it with ALL of it's weaknesses in a single beam, it's only compensator being that the insane damaging effects are more severe than with Hyper Xeletor, which in itself are made more severe than with standard Xeletor.

Grey: "Right, then. PK Psi Shield Beta!!!"

As the purple light surrounded Grey, the Time Freeze attack that Seph performed was actually... Well... Reflected back at him, as was the nature of the psychic power shield that could protect the heroes of Earthbound against even the strongest of magical attacks, PK Rockin', which was unknown to any being other than Giygas or Ness himself. That said, this still didn't solve the problem of what would happen when time began to start up again, so Grey decided to make sure that little complication wouldn't hinder him, right about when Seph was able to move again and released his charged blow.

"And now... Logic Bomb!!!"

The beam headed toward him, and stopped short right in front of him as Grey took a good, long look at it... He paced around the Tri Attacked energy weapon, and finally came to a conclusion that he decided to let Seph know about.

"This thing's massively overpowered, man. If I hadn't given you so much time to charge, I would probably have strike three'd you on this. But there are a few problems with it.

Firstoff, if I'm so inept, then this beam must do absolutely nothing to me, since I have no strengths to turn into weaknesses. So yeah, I guess since I can modify my own character data (seeing as how I AM me, after all) to make sure I have absolutely no strengths, I'll go with that. I have no strengths to turn into weaknesses. I'm fine with that. I can deal.

As for the second attack, Omega Drain, if I have no strengths, then that means I have nothing to set me apart from the rest of the world, attack or defense wise, which means that I must have only one hit point. In RPG terms, a percent damage kill skill (which this is, if I'm not mistaken) never, EVER kills a character that has one hit point. So, that part of the attack is quite null and void.

And finally, the third attack: Ultra Xeletor. This one would be pretty crazy to deal with, but fortunately for me, I never actually said I had any weaknesses, either. So if I've got no weaknesses, at the cost of not having any strengths, then that means that this attack, which attacks weaknesses (and nothing else, since you didn't specify...), must not hurt me either."

Grey stepped in front of the giant energy wave, and patted it on the side (since it had apparently grown solid at this point...

"Hey man, it's ok. You'll find another character to completely obliterate another day. Just remember that, alright? But for now... You better go off and play with the other hideously powerful attacks. OK?"

The energy wave seemed to slump down a bit... It spoke in a deep, terrifying voice that echoed with the shouts and screams of the millions of people it had killed before...

Energy Wave: "Ok..."

And with that, it disappeared in a puff of logic.

Grey: "Man, that was easier than I thought it would be. I wonder if it knew that I was BSing it that entire time..."

He looked over to Seph, and clapped his hands together. They charged with a touch of electricity that died down almost immediately...

"Right, then. Next?"

User Grey was right in that he was infact, eligible to fend off much of the Tri-Attack's power. Unfortunately, since User Grey decided to alter Seph's time-altering course, it came with a rather hellacious side effect which came with a special ability of Seph's.

Seph, instead of being intimidated by his fKitten Yiffer to deliver the punishing blow he had anticipated in calling that attack out, actually let up with an evil grin...

"TIME BOMB!"

As a result, as soon as User Grey decided to reestablish the course of time and alter it himself, a massive explosion occured from all around him and time itself reassumed it's normal position. Not only that, but also it did not count against Seph's turn of attack since it actually happened DURING Grey's turn.

Elite Seph: "You know, I've been programmed to counter that little time-altering trick! No easy way out for my opponent today!"

Seph began to "focus in" (focus, not charge) more energy, assuming that special ability's techs worked as planned.

Elite Seph: *thinks* Oh sure... Grey can always beat me by disqualification here *mumbles something about that being the only way, in his mind*, but a disqualification win means nothing, nothing besides the fact that the mod wishes to spare himself an embarrasing loss. If and when he enters MY game, there's nothing and no one that can or will stop me from getting redemption for what he did during my fight with Dracoon... I was the REAL victor in that fight, no matter what he or anyone else says, and I did so fair and square, just like all my other battles... yet quite frankly, I couldn't care less if Grey bombshells each of my sim-battles to favor my opponent... he's turning what started out as the elite league of sim-battling into the MINOR league, in my mind! It's like siccing a Lieutenant-Commander with an army full of Ensigns... insulting!

Yugi: "Sorry Pegasus! Your trap card that countered my trap card was just countered by MY trap card!"

Grey sat, watching one of his crazy-invisible closed-circuit televisions, as his stunt double was blown to pieces and his robotic giblets smeared the arena in something resembling beef stroganoff. Grey calmly sipped on a can of Mountain Dew and chewed an apple as the ridiculously crappy anime episode came to a close. Of course, the stunt double wasn't actually blown to pieces by the time explosion, it just exploded because Grey felt like making him explode. More specifically, the PK shield was still up, meaning the explosion (which would presumably go off after the attack set time was finished, rather than when Grey wanted to (seeing as how the original attack had a set time of frozenness and wasn't controlled by Seph's whim (if it were he'd have probably made it permanent))) would also bounce off. Being borne from the deflected time attack (which was a beam, rather than an area effect and thus probably wouldn't have detonated next to Grey anyway), it was only naturally to assign it the same properties as the time attack, which got deflected by the very same shield. In any case, Logic Bomb still happened, Time Bomb didn't affect him, and Grey swallowed in a rather dramatic but unfearful way. The apple's skin scratched his throat a little on the way down.

Grey cleared his throat, and winked.

Grey: "Oh, right, I forgot to shout Logic Bomb!!! again."

And since he was so heavily broadcasting his thoughts...

"And another thing: Read the forum description, AGAIN. I can't disqualify you anymore. And I wouldn't anyway, this is silly and fun."

He paused thoughtfully, and resumed his nonviolent fighting...

"What was it Orwell said? You're a lunatic if you're a minority of one..."

Elite Seph: "You know lightning doesn't strike twice!"

TIME BOMB!

Assuming that Logic Bomb is a time-freeze ability (which I assume it is), this tech problably would've turned out to be like the last Time Bomb...

Nonetheless, it would still unfreeze time and at least add a little bit of fireworks to the display set, if not somewhat damage Grey's character like it could have in the last post, meaning Seph is once again freed from the freeze frame position and can move again, as can Grey.

That gave Seph some time to unleash his planned attack...

Elite Seph: "See, lemme think here... how should I play with and torture my opponent today? Oh wait, I've got it!"

Seph raised one hand, his left hand, in an onwards battle position. It was almost certain that he was ready to strike in any instant now.

He then threw it down, and by the time he was finished, Elite Seph had put Grey into an anti-energy field, meaning that, for as long as it remains active (which it doesn't disrupt quite as easily as one would think BTW; you have to disrupt it by force, you can't just deplete it using a single simple spell or magic tech), Grey can't use Elemental-techs. Use of time-changing/altering techniques are also absorbed by it as it locks all portals and time field devices while it is operational.

Elite Seph: "Now that that's there, I think I'll just take this one step at a time..."

DESTROYER 1!

Destroyer 1: Completely oblierates one given stat point (Speed), meaning that the target is no longer equipped with the quickness and versitility needed to evade most faster-paced techs (it's been reduced to 0). Lasts for one turn only...

Elite Seph: "Now, with that in mind..."

SUPER KAMEHAMEHA WAVE!!

Elite Seph cuffed both hands, ready to unleash his charged attack.

Elite Seph: "Kame...hame....HA!"

And as he did so, Elite Seph unleashed a HUGE red beam of ki-energy at User Grey. And assuming that he has no quickness from that Destroyer 1 spell, this should do the trick...

Super Kamehameha Wave: A Kamehameha Wave Level 2, a more powerful and "specialized", "upped" version of a normal kamehameha wave. Only takes one turn to charge and is powerful enough to penetrate any and all ray sheilds and armor devices, and can drain all the life force out of Oversheilds (any of those things would reduce it's insane damaging effects considerably, however [a level 3 Kamehameha, an Ultra Kamehameha Wave, can penetrate any time of defense system regardless of origin or strength, but requires 2 full turns to charge).

Grey: "Rulemeister!!!"

Once again, everything stopped as Grey busted down the fourth wall for a few seconds and counted...

Grey: "1, 2, 3... 4. That's 4 actions. One round. Fuck, man, what the hell. And jeez, Logic Bomb has nothing to do with Time, I just screw around with the laws of physics for a few seconds and laugh my ass off at your pathetic attempts to use massively overpowered attacks on me. It's not like I'm going LOL I WILLF REEZE TIME HAHAHA. You're the one doing that, I'm just bouncing that one beam back at you. Take a look at the actions: You fire, I bounce, explosion happens in place that presumably doesn't even happen near me, and yet somehow you're still bombing me? What the heck, I didn't even try to stop time that time, I was just pushing through an attack that already happened. AND I was watching my goddamned Yu-Gi-Oh! Is it really necessary to disrupt a man while he's watching his badly-subbed anime with a can of soda? I swear, you overpaid powerhouses have NO tact."

He continued on with his observation of the traditional rules of engagement...

"Now then, since you're performing four actions this round, I guess that means I get to do the same thing. If we're gonna be turn-based, that is. But I'll do something a little different."

He pulled a few items out of his pockets...

"This here is a 100000 Zenny bank note. I'm gonna let you smack me with that Destroyer 1 attack, and watch my speed go down to nothing. THEN I'll use the four actions you're giving me with your excessive use of power."

He snaps his fingers and an NPC bot appears. Action 1.

"This here's a Stat/Skill Reset NPC, from Twilight Ragnarok Online. Gotta love it, eh? I'll just hand him this and take up my second action, paying for a stat reset. Sir, if you will?"

Stat/Skill reset NPC: "YES SIR. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR STATS IF LEFT UNALTERED WILL NOT RESET UNTIL YOUR NEXT LOGIN."

Grey: "That there's fine, I'll be ok. Now then, all of my stats are reduced to their bare minimums, but I have a crapload of stat points to allocate... I think I'm about level 93 on the server that this baby comes from, meaning I SHOULD be able to hit 125 agility in a few seconds. Allocate the stat points, and we've got action 3."

He snapped his fingers and the fourth wall repaired itself, and Seph unleashed his straightfromtehdeebeegeetee ultra megawave. With 125 + 23 agi (he did have a pretty decent job level at this point, after all), and the flee gained from levelling up, Grey was basically standing in one place one second, and in another place in another second, whistling as the red ki-beam flashed by him.

Grey: "Ooh, that was a doozy of a shot. And since this is my evasive move, I've actually got one more offensive action to take. Which I will."

With a quick flick of his wrist, Grey turned off the Rulemeister attack and returned to his traditional set of Sim-Battling rules. This meant that his "stats" didn't exist at all anymore, making Seph's happy little number schpiel more or less useless. Ya can't drain the stats of someone with no stats.

"Now then, why didn't I do this earlier? Simple: I like to add insult to injury. Next?"

A shadow appeared in the stands, it shouted out with a very loud voice.

Shadow: "WTF WAS THAT SEPH!? YOU JUST USED GT MOVES!!! I mean you could've at least used the more powerful, and DBZish and therefore real, Final Kamehameha! You didn't even say it right, its..."

Shadow took the form of the kamehameha stance.

Shadow: "Kaaaa.... Meeee... Haaa... Meeee... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

Shadow's formed changed back to normal and he started laughing.

Shadow: "Refrence to DBGT = insta fail, if you were a true fan you'd know that! It wasn't even drawn by the same person "

Kirbynite: .... I'm dubbing this match to be annoying. *nod nod* *looks at shadow* I'm taking a wildguess Sephy's saying it the japanese style.

Kirbynite slouched a bit and tosses some popcorn into the ring.

Kirbynite: Booo, I say. Boo on both sides.

Shadow: "Nope, even in the japanese style it was still the same. God the annoying voice still haunts me, yes Goku's dubbed voice was better than his original! Who was also a chick..."
