| Kirbynite's brow quirked several times in a short amount of time after he was helped up to his feet. "Hey thanks.. Um... But.. try an' remember that it's Dreamlander.. not Dreamworlder, heh." The pink creature looked around and found himself another seat. He fixed his red cap, and picked up his feet. "Hey, Schwa... getting a bit fired up, huh? It's their fight.. no need big for such anger." Kirbynite looked over at Seph's direction. Kirbynite didn't hear much from Seph. "... Um.... Why is he just standing there?" "Monologing." The mini-Kirbynite toy was standing on some stairs next to the original Kirbynite. "Oh.... I guess he must be using telepathy. Can't seem to hear it.. must be my Dark Type flaring up again. Where's Teddylot? I'm in the mood for playing cards." |

| "...what a coward." The dark elf is amused at Seph's monolog. "I told you not to let anything enter the stands...and changing the sky, I'm afraid, kinda puts a damper on seeing. It's okay if you try to interfere with what Janus sees...but if I wanna look up and know Father Sun is still up there, he'd better still be up there. He was a moment ago, but now there's an ugly face blocking him out. The sun's light, that used to be able to reach me, now cannot, because of what you did. The effects of your tactics has entered the stands...and...I'm gonna retaliate." Steak points his finger at the Doomsday Device. Shatter (as from Magic: The Gathering -> "Destroy target artifact." Every machine of every kind in the game is an Artifact, and thus is subject to Shatter. Especially without anything regarding the device in any of the profile threads [and yes, I looked before posting]) The dark elf has a glow about his hands, and a smirk upon his face as the spell ray slams into the side of the Doomsday Device, shattering the thing into unsortable dust. Inferno (targetting the dust of the former Doomsday Device...without much to hold it together, the metals corrode in the heat, and *any* organic matter would be incinerated) "Now...keep your attacks and whatever else at battleground level...not up here...got it?" | UGrey: "Another broken rule, Seph. That's two. The board rules apply IN FULL to the arena rules! After all, this IS a part of the board." User Grey teleports in, and smacks Seph in the face again! "But I gotta hand it to ya, that's some good logic. In any case, You've got one chance left. Three strikes and you're out." He then turns to the crowd... "And that goes for the rest of you, too. STOP FLAMING. This is a battle, not a firefight. Steak, I appreciate your Magic: The Gathering tactics, but Seph's just telling you all to stay out of the fight. He won't use that one against Janus. I'll make sure of it." He then turns to Seph, who has yet to actually charge toward Janus. "Carry on." User Grey teleports out, as Seph dashes toward Janus and grabs him with his Dead Man's Hand! Janus does nothing to dodge it, and the hand grips him..... .....And nothing happens. Janus: "Heh, joke's on you. My soul's not stored there." There's a bright flash of light around his hammer, and Janus swings it at Seph in fierce retaliation! |

| A sad sigh came from the velociraptor. Computer: All talk and no display, eh? Cyberaptor seemed to agree, and zoomed its vision into the arena using ocular enhancements. It watched the hammer attack made by Janus. Mentally, he asked its computer a question. Computer: The Doomsday Device that the robotic fellow placed above the arena? It's outmoddled scrap material, primitive stuff compared to the equipment back home. Better now as ash than it was before. Not much was happening, and Cyberaptor got a bit sidetracked. He looked over at Tyantas, and the green laser appeared from its eye again. |

| Ex yawned. Ex: "Doomsday Device? Undead Zone? Yeah... right... always threatening everyone BUT his foe..." BOOM!!! Suddenly, a truck fell out of nowhere and landed next to Ex! It was filled with all kinds of candies, chips, soft drinks, the like. Zerodius got out of the truck... Zerodius: "You heard agent Grey! No more flaming!" Ex: "Whatever!" Zerodius: "As a being from Dimension 0, Grey has full power over imaginary characters. If you break the rules, he WILL kick you out of here." Ex: "Whatever! The supreme leader of the beings of Dimension 0 won't let that happen, isn't it, Admiral?" Zerodius: "Indeed. If you break the rules, Grey won't kick you out... I will kick you out personally." Ex: "You're no fun!" Zerodius: "Yep!... and I'm proud of being no fun at all! Now sit down and watch the battle!" Ex: "Yawn!" Zerodius: "Ex... do not test my patience!" Ex: "OK OK I got it..." Grey repremanded me once, and since we're such good friends it was like a knife in the heart. He DOES have the power to ban me if I break the FAQ rules, so in a way I have to fear my own friend. | Zerodius: "Ha! It's you! Hi, Yiusi!" Ex: "You know her?" Zerodius: "Yep." Ex smiled in a strange way... Ex: "My new... "mother"? Heeheehee..." Zerodius: "Don't joke with that. You know very well that I decided never to have a mortal partner. Since I am the supreme leader of the Universe, it means that all mortals could be considered my children... and well, it's just common sense after that. Mating with children is wrong, period." Ex: "Too bad. Anyway, how did she got to meet you?" Zerodius: "I used her powers for the ZX-110 generation." Suddenly, a few hundreds of "Ex" beings stood up behind Zerodius. They were all identical and seemed very similar in physical appearance to Ex Lightheart... but there was something different about them. It seemed as if they had the power of the Oracles or something... ("Ex" being #1): "Hey! She's the One! The One whose powers were used to create us!" Zerodius: "Well, Yiusi, these are "our" "children". Born from the fusion of the Hunters' technology and the powers within you." Ex: "You're sure she's not..." SLAP! Ex: "OUCH! HEY!" Zerodius: "Behave yourself, agent ZX-106 number AK57-28-911!" Ex: "Hmph! If you say so... daddy!" Zerodius: "It's "Admiral", not "Daddy"... and anyway, I'm not your biological father." Ex: "DUH! I have no biological father." Zerodius: "It's a mere detail, Ex. Anyway... Yiusi, as you can see, I was successful in giving your powers to the new generation of "Ex" beings. Thanks to your power, we were able to enhance the "Aura" shielding of the "Ex" beings. We also created new upgrades for the Dark Weapons and made a new module for the Blaster serie of guns..." Ex: "Daddy? Seph is about to do something!" Zerodius: "... we also supplied with... and... so... amazing... but... advanced... enhanced... will..." Ex: "Oh man... this will take forever..." | Yiusi stares in awe at the other Ex's. "Wow..." She taps Zerodius in the middle of his speech. "That's VERY interesting. You created an entire generation of life using the battle data you gathered in our spar! Well, I hope their powers never become outdated or anything, given that I'm always strengthening my bond with Guardian and learning new abilities..." She pats Yiusi Ball. "So they're half-Oracle, then? Interesting still. Hey kids, I tell you, when my life is over and I return to the Oracle Kingdom, I'll aid you from there if you ever get into any serious battles. You know what I'm talkin' about... Demons, undead... Anything Schwa himself despises. Schwa, who is right behind Yiusi, taps her on the shoulder. She whips around. "Oh, hi Schwa! I was just--" "Talking about me, I know. It's all cool. Hello Ex Lightheart, long time no see. Whoa, who're you? Wait a sec..." He focuses for a moment at Zerodius. "Admiral Zerodius, is it?" Suddenly he grabs his head for a few seconds. "Ahh! That was... weird... Friend, you must have some SERIOUSLY complicated thought patterns or somethin'. Reading you mind gave me a headache!" Schwa has no clue about Zerodius's 'identity'... |

| Ex laughed... Ex: "Heeheehee... well... you could say that..." An "Ex" being approached Yiusi. She was much smaller than the others and seemed much younger too... (young "Ex" being): "You are Yiusi? I'm ZX-111, the prototype of the next generation! Daddy was successful in copying the Oracle power... and then, he attempted to improve it. I'm the result of his researchs! If the research was successful... then I'll grow into a being that has the full powers of an Oracle unstead of the powers of only a mortal Oracle... should I live." Ex seemed a bit sad suddenly... but the young "Ex" being smiled sweetly. She seemed so innocent... Ex: "Do not say that. Those anomalies are nothing... your body stability is still high." (young "Ex" being): "I know I'm gonna die, grand-mother... the first attempt is almost always a fKitten Yiffer, grand-mother. After all... before a stable generation can be made, alpha-rank proto... types... mu... must... *COUGH!*" Ex: "WHAT IS HAPPENING TO HER?!?" Zerodius: "STAND BACK!" Zerodius grabbed the "Ex" being and ripped off it's sweater. Large parts of her chest had turned semi-transparent... Ex: "Oh my great Admiral... the DNA is incompatible..." (young "Ex" being): "I'm... I'm OK... don't worry... *COUGH!*" The young "Ex" being vomitted blood all over Zerodius's boots! Zerodius's right arm transformed into an Arm Blaster. Then, he aimed at the young "Ex" being's chest and shot micro-charges of strange dark, corruptive energy. The patches of semi-transparent flesh were destroyed... but not before hurting her even more. Ex: "Oh my... Admiral? What... what went wrong? Why is she..." Zerodius: "I captured an Oracle during his sleep and drained him from a bit of his power... then, I took a bit of the power and used it to create this prototype. Once the prototype was done, I was able to fully understand how Oracle energy is made... I mixed the data I got from the prototype with the battle data from Yiusi and began production of the new energy, which I called "Yiusi Mana" in Yiusi's honor... then, I placed the stolen power back into the sleeping Oracle and sent him back." Ex: "And..." Zerodius: "Well... it seems that Oracle energy is somehow "customized". If it is stolen and used in a body other than the one of it's original user... it does what you seen." Ex placed her hand on the prototype's right shoulder... Ex: "The Admiral will fix that problem. You'll live..." (young "Ex" being): "I know... I know I won't... the Admiral says that I will live too... but why didn't he gave me a name if I was meant to live? Why did he tried not to get attached?" Ex: "Do not speak like that." (young "Ex" being): "That's why he brought me here unstead of keeping me in a hospital facility... he knew my life would be short... but he still wanted me to enjoy what little time I have..." Ex: "... Admiral? Is that true?" Zerodius: "... yes... yes it is." Ex: "Why... why did you created a being that is destined to die horribly like this?" Zerodius: "I didn't knew Oracle energy could not be used so easily at first. I brought her here so she could catch a glimpse of the Fallen "Ex" Being... and so she could go with Yiusi." Ex: "What?" Zerodius: "We do not know enough about Oracle energy to help her, Ex... but maybe the Oracles can help her... and I knew Yiusi would be here. I want Yiusi to keep this young "Ex" being with her and see if she can help her or direct her to beings that can help her... and if she can't save her, I want the "Ex" being to discover the world with Yiusi during the time she have left." |

| Having someone vomit blood was not something that can be ignored, especially when it happens a few feet away from you. Another thing that can't be ignored is getting whacked on the head by a paperfan by a short, pink creature. Kirbynite: Hey! Kirby didn't expect the paper fan to the head to phase Zerodius, but he hoped it'd get some attention. Kirbynite: Did you even ask permission to borrow that power? Now, I don't know anything about these 'Oracles'.. I know the Underground FanZ are going to be angry at me for not paying attention.. But you could've killed that 'Oracle'! What the heck is wrong with you? Or is this some kinda excuse to cover up the fact that you have so many anthro children around here? |

The battle had frozen in time (not like anything was happening anyway) as User Grey tried once again to accost his unusually large audience. "I mean, Zerodius, Steak and Cheese and Kirbynite are all having nice little sidestories while the meat of the fight is going on, but you're really turning this into a spectator's sport! (ha, get it....? I made a funny.)" He looked around the arena... Nothing seemed to be happening, he hoped Seph hadn't been scared away by everyone else's comments. He knew what it felt like to be the center of negative attention in a crowd. It sucked. "Say.... I hope Seph's still, you know, here... I was looking forward to a serious battle between him and Janus." |

| OFF: Have no fear... I am here! ____________________________________________________________________ For some reason, Seph was not at all appauled (?) by Janus' resistance to Seph's last attack, for he had something else up his sleeve apparently... Elite Seph: "Didn't know I had the ability to do this... now did you?" SUPER FOCUS! Super Focus: A BETA version of the Matrix ability "focus". Defies gravity and slows time drastically, only it makes the target's actions slower while making the caster's MUCH faster than normal (as if he were on Turbo mode or something). Elite Seph: "Now let's see if you can keep up!" As a result, Seph was able to duck under the hammer with ease, and then tried to whack Janus with the tip of his Immortal Staff Hybrid at a supersonic speed! Since it was uncharged, it should not have the same effects Seph would have desired, but it's still a powerful fighting tool nonetheless. |

| Janus: "Ask Star, man. I can use Time Magic, too. And as such..." He closed his eyes and sent Satchel floating, forming a seal with his hands, only to have his cast immediately disrupted by Seph's strike! *WHACK!* "OW!" Janus was thrown to his back by Seph's hit, kicking up to his feet almost immediately. Sure, the time slowdown had no effect on him whatsoever, but that didn't stop Seph from being fast! Janus stopped to wonder if he was getting a little arrogant, and then decided to shake the feeling from his mind. No use in trying to figure that one out. Meaningful monologues were out. Brute force didn't exist. And Seph seemed to have him matched for speed. There wasn't much he could seriously do. But hey, there was always Rudra no Hirou. Janus flipped backwards a few times, only to change direction shortly and rush at Seph, stopping at point-blank range to face the head of his hammer in Seph's face! "Burnination!!!" As was par for the course with Rudra no Hirou's improvised magical system, a huge burst of void (read: really dark) magic blew out of the hammer and spread outward from the edge of Janus' weapon in a large triangular shape that widened as it left the tip of Satchel's head. |
