I was around on the net in 1998... of course, not much was going on. :\ Aside from being on some discussion lists that averaged 200-300 messages a day, the net wasn't exactly that friendly a place.  (And by that I mean IM was still in its infancy and that. And I *hated* ICQ with a passion.) |

| I think there was a wwwthreads board... I remember that some people posted on that EZboard not too long ago, it was pretty funny having a conversation there (where Acmlm was all the time and people just went nuts) |
