| Quotation marks are now converted to entities automatically. It gets annoying. Here's why: post <a href="http://google.com/"> and then the quotation marks are converted into entities. So the browser automatically knows that you don't want to specify a URL (that's supposed to work for going to other domains), but a relative link to http://board.acmlm.org/"http://google.com/", which will result in a 404 (unless "http://google.com/" happens to be a file). Thus the problem. |

| That doesn't solve anything. For one, the HTML specification requires quotation marks. Secondly, I've used the quote-way for many years and I'm not changing that. | |||
