| If your talking about Super ZTaimat World, then the only really big problem I can find with it is its rather lackluster level design. But you can fix it easily by deleting everything in the level and trying again. Try making a bunch of levels on another rom and pick out the ones that are the most fun, then insert them into your hack. Don't make the levels hard or insanely easy or just make them because you want one there for the overworld. Make a level that you and other people will enjoy playing through without save states. With that knowledge, I strongly suggest keeping up with your hack. Your overworld looks too good to give up on it now. | |||

| I would say you suck... because it's 100% unneccessary to start up a useless thread like this. It's rather unconstructive and could've been named something that does'nt sound like it belongs to the officer's club. | never give up, if you are able to make such a great overworld you are also able to make great levels just be patient and learn everything, and spend a lot of time building your levels and taking care of level design, fun, etc etc |

| Don't worry; a lot of people have this problem. I take it to an extreme; I've been working on my hack for about 8 months and I only have one overworld and four levels, and the overworld is just absolutely horrible. If you could make the levels in ZTaimat World and make that overworld, then you can finish it. Try taking a break from hacking for a month, then go back to it. You'll find you have tons of fresh new ideas (that's what I'm doing now, and I have a three-page long list of ideas I've come up with). If you remain frustrated after even longer, then yes, I suggest working with others to create a joint hack (I've wanted to do that for a while because my overworld design is horrible). In fact, if you want me to, I would be happy to work make levels (since, once again, I can't hack anything else well) for your approval, even though your level design is really good to begin with. Damn it! I'm rambling again. |
